  1. He was having a decent year until he got injuried. I believe he got hurt in the first Jets game. Never know what might of been for the guy.
  2. The time for excuses is done. my entire sentence was EJ needs to perform well and keep the team in games to win. I am not saying EJ needs to be Brady but he needs to be as good as Rusell Wilson. The D and WR are good. What IF the sky falls?? Yes all three phases of the team need to be good. But they all can be good and if you have a bad QB it will not matter. The Bills will finish with 6- 8 wins IF EJ does not step up and play good.
  3. Bradham has the talent he just has not been able to put it all together. That could also be the product of having different D cords in his first two seasons. I think if he gets in the system and is coached right he really can play in this league. This is his make or break season.
  4. I like what he is doing in theory. It all hinges on EJ. Whaley believes that with a strong D and play makers EJ will be able to keep the Bills in the Playoff hunt. EJ needs to be Russell Wilson.
  5. So you're telling me theres a chance!
  6. I agree that Marrone put him in a bad position. Thinking a guy with little to no NFL coaching experience could handle OC and QB coach was a big over sight by Marrone
  7. This. Bradford has never been given the right weapons. He had everything you want in a QB coming out of college. Rams have done a poor job developing him. Not saying Buffalo would have done better. Having said above, Bills are with EJ for two more seasons. Unless his knees become an issue again this season. I could then see a change
  8. Hackett did i brutal job last year. Thus his mentor and HC brought in a QB coach and a quality control coach for the offense. Basically they just put training wheels on Hackett. This is the year for CJ to shine for many reasons. Mostly because he wants to get paid. This is the one and only big pay day for a RB, usually. Makes perfect sense why the Bills wanted Hyde.
  9. IF Henderson is really over the weed, this could be the biggest steal of the draft. It could turn into another Stevie and Hardy type draft. Henderson has all the ability to be the best Olinemen the Bills drafted. Glad he is signed and now let him prove to himself and everyone else he belongs.
  10. Spiller is the Adam Dunn of football. He will hit a bunch of homers but also lead the league in strike outs
  11. The scary thing is some people think this way. Anytime something someone has not been exposed to occurrs the initial reaction is typically to reject it. Look in 10 years from now we will see this more and more in all sports. Get use to it, it is not going anywhere
  12. Marv was a great speaker and a horrible GM. Who cares what Whaley sounds like, if he gets the job that is all that matters. If you have not noticed not too many football players are Rhodes Scholars'.
  13. A lot of Bills fans last year thought Tuel and Lewis were better QB's
  14. Seems pretty fair and like he actually gets what is going on. As far as Watkins i think most people go to agree with his assesment. If you do not, then i don't think you watched the kid play in college.
  15. Bills brass does not know anything about that. They do however know first hand the type of player and person Stevie is. The Bills felt it was best to move on. Better for the Bills and Stevie. Now i do not want to say Stevie is a bad person, i do however think you can not have a guy be a leader who is anti-clutch. Stevie wanted to talk and be a leader, but it just did not translate into game deciding moments on the field. It is a shame, maybe it will change for him in SF.
  16. Look, what i can say is this, coaches and GM's have much more access to Stevie then we do. They watch Stevie's behavior in places we are not allowed to see. They did not want Stevie around Watkins.
  17. Maybe Kiper thinks Caldwell, Jags GM, knows a thing or two about picking a QB.
  18. I got to agree. teams do not let a franchise QB leave. Manning came with a ton of questions, and the Colts went with the long term solution in Luck. Other then Manning tell me one other franchise QB over the last 6 years that left his current team?
  19. I agree with you OP. I am not for trading up however after this draft played out i could not be happier. Watkins has the game changing ability that i think will help EJ develope. Not to mention Whaley also got some big boys up front to help EJ. Good moves!
  20. Yes, the Bills would be silly not to take Murray with their second 5th round pick. Last year Murray would have been a second round selection. He has all the tools, just needs good coaching.
  21. Come on, they gave up what is being reported as afourth maybe a third rounder NEXT year. That is the equivalent of not that much. It is a good move for everyone. .
  22. Great guy who appreciated the fact the Bills gave him a shot and he represented Buffalo proudly. Having said that, he just did not seem to fit well with Marrone. I do not dislike Stevie. I do however think Stevie was being asked to be something he was not, a number one, clutch receiver. Winners win. Meaning they make the catch against the Steelers and Jets. They do not fumble against the Falcons. Did Stevie lose those games? No. But when he could have helped win them he did not step up.
  23. he is very very fast. he is one of those guys who goes from stopped to max speed in just a few steps. He is going to be very very tough to cover. I think EJ can just cut it lose and Watkins will go get it.
