  1. Or for people who remember what their 20's were like. How many jobs did you change to make more money and have more success? If anyone cared enough about your decision i am sure you would have televised it. Point is Lebron is not perfect and i am not a fan or a 'hater' of his. i think his decision today was one made out of class and desire to have a dream come true. Good for him and i think we all wish we had those type of opportunities, right?
  2. This move repairs his image more than anything else he can do, except get a title for Cleveland.
  3. Better to happen now than in week 4. Bills have time to look for someone and also prepare with out him. Sucks to have a great young guy go down. Was looking forward to Kiko playing next to Spikes, those two would be nasty together. Next man up! This is football, injuries happen.
  4. Talley Outside of Buffalo not many people remember him at all. Talley was the glue that kept the D together, He kept divas like Bennett and Smith together. Talley was also one heck of a LB that on any other team with lesser talent he would have been a pro bowler more times. Talley will never go to the hall of fame but i think if you ask the guys from those SB teams who was the leader on D it was Talley.
  5. yep tallest midget Sorry but i am on the soccer band wagon. It is very exciting. I love football but would love to see the US win a World Cup in the next 20 years.
  6. The Bills are a perennial 6-10 team, who exactly should we be favored against? This team will play hungry and turn that around i believe. I know we have the talent now i just pray the coaching is up to par.
  7. Gotta agree with EBall. Bills have the talent. Hopefully the coaching additions on O help out with EJ's developement. Like to see Schwartz keep up the pressure on opposing Qb's while stopping the run better then last year. Hopefully we are both playing a very meaningful game in December!
  8. Texans are trying to be the 99 Baltimore Ravens. have a dominating D a good running game and a game manager for QB. The problems are- Fitz can not manage a game. The league has changed a lot in 15 years. What is worse is that due to them having a good D they will win some games and Fitz will play good for a few, so they will keep winning just enough to miss out on drafting a stud QB.
  9. With his salary being fully guaranteed i do not see it. MW has experience that Hogan and Graham do not have. Coaches know that the performance in the preseason means very little in the regular season. A Vet like MW who has proven he can play in this league gets a huge advantage over unproven guys.
  10. Keep Urbik and Hairston, let Legursky walk.
  11. Just because you are good in business does not always translate to being good at owning a professional team. Jerry Jones proves this and so does Snyder in Washington. Before people tell me about Jerry Jones' Super Bowls- Jimmy Johnson gave those to Dallas. I go back and forth on Trump. i agree he would want to win, but you and i know he will sell the Bills in the next 15 years to the highest bidder.
  12. .I get what you are saying, what i was attempting to do was look at the possibility a little deeper than 'it could happen'. Yes it could happen, however i believe that the possibility of someone buying the team and keeping them in Buffalo is far greater. Not because i would like that to happen but because it makes much more sense financially to happen.
  13. You are correct it could happen. BUT, how many of these people exist in the world? Meet criteria to own a team and could get the blessing of the other owners. Not to mention as others have stated if someone paid $2.5-3 billion there is absolutely no way they will recover that investment back in years if ever. Put all that in the mix and remember one final thing, anyone with enough money to over pay by a billion or two most likely will not. They became wealthy by making prudent decisions.
  14. Fitz is not a starter and Houston is trying to make him one. They have a great D but unfortunately you have to have an above average QB in today's game to win. I would take my chances with a second year EJ who showed flashes of being good over Fitz- he is what he is and will never get better.
  15. He was set to make $10mil. He is 5'9. Let Robey and the other guys play.
  16. In a perfect world Sammy comes in and lights it up at WR. IF for some reason he does not the Bills will look to get production out of him in other areas.
  17. I am going to sound really ignorant, but what happened here?
  18. It was not just the frequency but also the fact he did it at the exact same time. Someone who has far more time then i do should go see how many times to start a half or game that was the call. I bet you it was over 50% of the time.
  19. Bingo! I criticized Hackett early and often. I admitt i should have and eventually did throw it towards Marrone. To think a guy with very little NFL coaching experience could come in and be OC and QB coach with a rookie QB was poor judgement on Marrone's part. Changes have been made during the offseason and all we can hope is that the three guys Hackett, Hostler, and the QB coach work well together. I do believe the talent is there, we just need the coaching.
  20. I disagree. Tebow has shown he can win games in the NFL, which is exactly what you want in a back-up. Gabbert has shown he can not win anything. Is Tebow a starter? No. Is he good enough to be a back-up on a team with a proven franchise QB? Yes. He will not get the shot because he is a distraction.
  21. With the rules in th eNFL today favoring the receiver i like Watkins ability to transition nicely. Watkins has great hands and maybe the quickest first step we have seen in awhile. Combine that with the fact that DB's can hardly press anymore and we could see Sammy with a lot of YAC.
  22. Just saw this too. Does not mean he will be good even if he does sign with Pats. Lately it seems they have more misses with aging Vets then hits.
  23. Could not agree more. I am not sure he can play in the league or not but to go from a starter who won a playoff game to now a guy who can't get a call. Look around the league at back ups and tell me he is not better than a couple of those at least. He is a good guy from all accounts, but no team wants the millions of fans he brings because of the circus it creates.
  24. This is not good at all. After reading what he said after the first arrest about the media making it into something it is not and how he was blowing it off, i am concerned. It appears Marcel is not 'getting it'. Both of these incidents appear to be acts of someone who is immature and not ready to understand their level of responsibility. I hope for him and the Bills he figures it out. Unfortunately punishing guys that are in that mind set many times does not work unless it is a very very severe punishment, which stinks for us Bills fans.
