And good coaching from Harbaugh and Reid. -
Updated: The AFC Playoff Picture

My thought exactly. Marrone showed you how capable he is the last two weeks. -
Bills Sign Safety Bacarri Rambo
atlbillsfan1975 replied to iommi's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Came into UGA much hyped and he was suppose to be another great DB to come out of UGA. He never lived up to his total potential but was still a very good player. Love to see if he has progressed. Could be a nice audition. -
I was in Athens last night. I am a big UGA fan. Gurley is an amazing combo of size and speed and agility. I am sure he will come back from the injury and be a great back. He is the next Marshawn Lynch but faster stronger and better hands.

Why are we so down?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Chi-town Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Orton is due for a hot stretch. How long it lasts will determine if the Bills make the playoffs. A 'good' Orton and the rest of the talent on the team can make a run and beat anyone, i believe that. I also believe that the chances of Orton playing lights out for the next 6 games is not very great. Due to our coaching inadequacies anything less than perfect from the QB will make it difficult to win 5 of the next 6. -
Leodis Fractured His Ankle - Placed on IR
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
seriously, we are the only team in the NFL with a kick off specialist, Marrone is just an ahole. how about you make the playoffs or heck post a winning record you idiot before you try and show the NFL you are smarter then they are. Sorry about McKelvin. -
When you are as big as Henderson is very few body movements are subtle

Tannehill banged up going into TNF
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
kinda my thought. i would rather face Tannehill than some savior off the bench. None of this kind of info matters when it comes to BLO, they have a history of making back-ups and journey men look like All pro's. Bills need to win this game and nothing else matters. -
Bills Coaches Sleep Overnight at OBD After Loss to KC
atlbillsfan1975 replied to patfitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ha! Seriously though, who cares and why do we know this? Why was it 'leaked'. If it is normal for coaches on a short week to sleep at the team complex, then why make it a story? It smells of someone at OBD trying to say we are working hard to correct the problems...The major problem can not be corrected by the group of people trying to do it...they are the problem. -
Marrone is Worst Dressed Coach in NFL
atlbillsfan1975 replied to rfk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i got to agree in part. it is also HOW Marrone looks most of the time. Marrone looks lost half the time. He does not belong on the sidelines of an NFL team. Sorry but he is in over his head from how he dresses to the decisions he makes in the 4th quarter. -
You hit the nail on the head when it comes to personnel. So many times I have said the same thing. Like trying to throw the ball to Lee Smith. That guy stinks at everything as far as i am concerned why i she in on a a third down running a route? So many times you will see a running back in that should not be. Like a CJ up the gut when Freddie or Dixon should be there. Hackett is overwhelmed and it continues to show week in and week out. God bless a vet like Orton who has been around some better coached teams. I am sure he is thinking things are a joke. He may like it in one regard because he can shrug off Doug and Hackett and do what needs to be done. The flow of the game and speed is something that Hackett has still not caught up to. I am sure his mentor will give him another year to prove what he has learned.

Kouandjio expecting to be active v. Chiefs
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
got to agree. this staff, at least on offense, appears to get a little overwhelmed and struggles to see the tree in the forest. Yes they do get there, but it takes them a little more time to my liking and maybe yours as well. -
49ers RB Marcus Lattimore to Retire from NFL
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lattimore and Clowney are close friends, i believe they were roommates in college. I speculated as others have that Clowney watched the Lattimore injury and it played a role in how he approached his last year at USC. Bad luck for Lattimore. He is a quality guy who over came one horrible injury to make it back but couldn't get past this one. Good guy and i think he will have a bright future with out football. I will pull for him. -
What Would You Give Up for Brady?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to rfk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You cheered on Kelly i suppose? Care to recall how he felt about Buffalo before he came here? Just a joke thing to say. I would take Brady and a SB win any day. End the misery. -
Fitzy to the bench in Houston
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ha! God bless Losman. I wanted to be a fan of all those guys too. But i did not support them once i realized they are what they are. We, Bills fans over 30, got spoiled by Kelly. I think we even romanticize a little about his play. The thing Kelly did display is not to let the situation during the game get the better of him...well not until the SB! -
Kansas City Chief Defense - # 3 points/game
atlbillsfan1975 replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Crown them if you want to crown them! I think the Chiefs are a very capable team. Andy Reid is a great coach A. Smith is a true game manager. They have a stout D, that if i recall they can get after the QB. And they run the ball pretty darn good. The thing i have noticed on the season so far is the Bills fare better against teams with a good running game and a so/so passer. Rivers and Brady had great numbers in the air. It really is going to come down to can the Bills protect Orton. If so i do not see how the Bills can not beat the Chiefs by 10 points. I do not want to see a rusty performance from our boys on Sunday. -
Fitzy to the bench in Houston
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder if Fitz supporters were also Loseman, Edwards, Holcomb, etc supporters? Fitz's problem was not his arm it was his decision making in crucial times of the game. More times then not he made bad decisions when the game was on the line. His arm was mediocre, yes. But he is about as anti clutch as it gets. He just is not a 'gamer', much like Stevie was/is not one. -
Aikman made a point to bring up the Orton situation. I believe it was Aikman or maybe Buck that painted out the rumor of personalities not meshing between Orton and Romo. Aikman also very subtly questioned the Romo decision to not play.
-
Gotta agree, just think when Kilo comes back next year. Resign Hughes and get a deal done with Dareus. Address guard early in the draft and pick up a TE. Then go for depth. Gilmore is more interesting . he should get a deal like McKelvin based on performance. For some reason Gilmore gets a decent amount of pub which worries me for his value.

Marino tutoring Tannehill
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I attended Kelly's first ever football camp. Marino was there as a guest speaker. After the speech Marino was talking to Jim. I heard Marino say ' how long do I have to stick around for this $h*t'. Marino turned to me to sign an autograph and I turned and walked away. He has always striked me as an arrogant person. -
EJ vs Orton (stat comparison)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Billsrhody's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The stats say to me that fix the guard issue on the OL and Orton will look better in the short term. It will also allow EJ more time to develop. I want to see 8 more reg season games of Orton and the O looking as good as they can under the play calling they are given.
