  1. The Bills team going into this draft have far fewer glaring holes to fill then past years. This is before FA even begins. Why not look at a QB in the later rounds? You may draft the next Financial adviser for Charles Schwabb or you may find Tom Brady!
  2. Cherry on top. After all the went from Manning to Luck basically. hard to feel sorry for them as a fan base!!
  3. I would like to see the Bills go after him. A little karma paid back to us fans for losing Lynch, maybe. New place with new faces maybe helps him turn the corner.
  4. Yes. I think if Buffalo had a franchise QB( a top 10 qb) they would be the team to beat in the AFC. This D is historical good. Hughes walks but Kiko comes back. They pick up Revis in FA and maybe a TE.
  5. Big Gamble on Manning. I doubt if he gets cut he is not signing a max guaranteed deal with someone for two years if he comes back at all. Manning is not signing an 'incentive contract'. The Bills would be looking at paying him $25 mil. I am not so sure i want to do that. One hit and he is done. He looked very very bad the last month. Orton out played him in Denver. Three years ago i would of said yes. Now after watching December and January i just don't think he is worth the price.
  6. Yes. I think that is the point of the article. These teams are saying the would rather take the bpa with their first and trade a later pick for Bradford. IF this trend continues with sub par QB's coming out of college, look for the NFL to start to play with rules to compensate. IN 5 years we will be left with very few great QB's
  7. i said part, and yes you are correct. the league instructed Atlanta to stop doing it around midway through the past season. There was/is no denying it.
  8. I think part of it is due to the fact that the Falcons stunk for the last two years, you are not hearing as much about it. I do think it will garnish a heavy fine but do not see any type of penalty involving draft picks. I also do not see that for Cleveland. Heck the worse thing Cleveland has done as a franchise is not cleaning up enough around the facility and MAYBE letting staph spread. Joking
  9. Wow, some of you guys went from 0-60 on this one. From calling out our fellow posters for not being able to pick up a girl to calling the girl a slut. Edelman is not married. That is the number one thing to me. He did what most if not all of us here have done, had sex. Whether the girl is hot or not is your opinion, just like whether you think your wife, gf, mistress, FB, etc is. One mans trash is another's treasure. If the girl wants to post this so be it. I also understand she has a bit of a history of going after athletes, so what? She probably hopefully now gets that there are going to consequences to her actions. None of us here were involved in this. And if any of us have an overwhelming strong opinion one way or the other it is most likely due to the fact that we have a 'dog in the fight'. I mean a past experience that this brings up for us. Whether it happened to us or our significant other or a sister, friend, etc.
  10. Pettine may be a good coach but he made a horrible decision to go to the Browns. He needed to stay in Buffalo and keep up the good D play. Who knows he probably would be the Bills coach right now. Buffalo is in such a better place as a franchise then Cleveland right now. No comparison.
  11. WOW you think they have a qb? You said that as if you think Tannehill is like a top 10 qb??
  12. I think this is one of the things Rex spoke about when he said everyone is on the same page. Rex and Whaley know that Rex's D works best when you have 2 outstanding corners. Whaley and Pegula told Rex they will do everything in their power to bring Revis to Buffalo during the interview process. I am not saying Revis will be a Bill but if not it is because someone paid silly money that even Rex says nope.
  13. while one call doesn't make the mans career that was just silly.
  14. With the work load and style of runner Lynch is if this deal does not have a steep decline after the first two years in salary it is silly. 4 year $32 mil, like $18 guaranteed with $10 mil first year and $8mil in year two. I could see Lynch retiring after that. to the poster who says he doesn't enjoy talking to the media, bologna. He is playing the media and everyone else. His agenda is apparent with his 'BM' promotions. Good for him for capitalizing on things while he can. He plays a brutal sport that has huge adverse effects on the body and will most likely cost him a lot in quality of life down the road. I do not begrudge him what he is doing, but everyone needs to wake up and not make the 'social anxiety' excuse for him. That is the only part i do not like the Lynch uses. It is an act.
  15. I assure you IF every media person boycotted Marshawn he would be singing like a canary. He loves the attention. His act is his way to exert some type of control he believes. Just a hunch, but I think the less attention Marshawn was shown the more his antics would increase. It would be a funny social experiment.
  16. NO WAY Marrone fires Sexton! If anything the other way around eventually when Marrone is coaching Oline at Duke in 3 years.
  17. Two things. The fact that it is getting leaked that Hackett is being interviewed does send the message that the Bills know Marrone was the problem. A little salt in Marrone's wound. IF Hackett does have a good relationship with EJ and can help work with the O then why not? I trust Whaley and Roman to figure this out.
  18. Anyone else starting to see a correlation between the Bills and Seahawks? Look at the young talent that is stepping up on D. Now if EJ or anyone can turn into anything like Wilson(who is good but not great), the Bills have a bright future.
  19. I liked Spikes attitude and what he brought. I think his actual play was decent, not great not bad. With Rex here the culture and attitude of the team is going to be a tough physically team. I would rather spend those dollars on someone else who has more to contribute on the actual field.
  20. You could tell Bradham had the talent. Wannies system stunk and it was really hard for a rookie. I remember seeing Bradham in the right place sometimes and the guy would deliver a hit or make a play. Bradham just needed to learn his assignments and get comfortable. Of course it also does not hurt to be playing behind that line! Rex is going to love using Mario. Mario really is one of the most complete lineman in the league. He can stop the run and rush the passer as well as anyone. In the day of guys who specialize in pass rushing, Mario is a throw back to guys like Bruce.
  21. Stinks to lose a job. He has NFL OC experience. He will land another job. I do not think his family will starve. He is young enough and hopefully wise enough to realize the knowledge and experience he gained. Turn it into something bigger next time around.
  22. No. Too much and not a need. Look for the league to send another message to RB's. It just is not a position you spend $10 mil a yr at.
  23. oh come on! i was enjoying the history lesson. I think Rex is intelligent enough to learn from his past. I do think he has a complete staff that will all have the same agenda and goals. Rex needs to know what he is not great at and hire someone who is to help with that.
