I am glad you think so. To me they scream ultimate game manager. His stats for the last 3 season show he is exactly what we want EJ to be. Wilson has never attempted 40 passes in a game. He has his most success when he attempts less than 30 passes. I do not buy him as a franchise passer or the guy i want leading my team at QB because i have to pay him $20mil+ a season that inhibits me from spending in other areas to compensate for his deficiencies. Seattle will be the next Baltimore. Sign your QB to a huge deal and suffer everywhere else on the field.

Point is i do not see Wilson as the type of QB worth spending that kind of money on. The Seahawks will never win the NFC again once Wilson signs that big deal and they can not sign the defensive guys they need. You think Flacco and the Ravens will be in the SB again? Give them what Wilson has and they would have 2 SB championships, not one and one they p*ssed away at the 2 yard line.

AFCE defenses vs. Bills offensive weapons
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We as Bills fans know what Watkins is because we witnessed flashes of it last year. I do not think a lot of other fans regard him as high as we do. I also think a lot of columnists and sports writers are waiting to see him put up a couple of big games. Personally i like the 'no love' for Sammy right now. Let him go out there and show everyone what he is. If he is healthy i do not care who his QB is, Sammy will be the impact guy for the Bills. -
He is good. But he is not who i would look to to start a franchise with. His rushing is nice but as the NFL has shown rushing for a QB is not something that can be done very long. I also factored in that if he was your starting QB that you started your franchise with you would have to pay him accordingly. Therefore your D will suffer some for sure.

It is a cheap shot, but did you watch the SB? RW is a solid QB playing for the perfect HC with a great D and run game. As we have seen even the great ones can look bad when asked to carry more than their fair share of the load. Look at Brees last year. To think RW is a shoe in to be a Rodgers or Brady if he throws 10-15 more times a game is a stretch.

1985 Bears. If we want to be the best...
atlbillsfan1975 replied to OCinBuffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Two thingsI actually saw that Ravens team coming and told a buddy of mine before the 2000 season to take them as his SB pick. He didn't and to this day always asks me who I like. I haven't been right since. I had the privilege of being In NO for the Bears Pats Super Bowl. Sitting in the Superdome was awesome as a young man. The 85 Bears were more like movie stars than football players. That D was nasty, they told you they were going to kick the crap out of you and then they did. I hope our bills D plays with that kind of swagger and backs it up, I have some confidence they will swing a Ryan is at the helm again. -
Report: Broncos tried to trade Peyton to Texans
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really hope Peyton knows when to hang them up. He didn't have it the last 6 weeks of the season last year. Supposedly it was a leg injury, but it begs the question 'what will it be this year'? At his age Peyton will not heal quickly from any injury and he is more prone to them. He missed his window to get one more. Elway knows that Peyton does not even have left what he did those last two years with Davis running behind him. -
Levitre About To Lose His Starting Spot?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Marrone was the Oline coach with Morris. I also have to think Marrone had more pull in regards to personnel then say a position coach. Morris is no longer here, so who cares if he is bad or good. We know the dynamic duo of M&M was not very good last year. -
Levitre About To Lose His Starting Spot?

i got to also wonder how much old Marrone had to do with said contingency plan or lack there of. My perception of Marrone is that he has a big ego. Maybe wrong, but i can see Marrone telling Whaley in 2013 'i like what i got. I can coach these guys. I need a vet for injuries and such(Legursky).' I think Whaley wanted to believe Marrone, but we all found out Marrone did not have an eye for Oline talent or coaching it up. -
Falcons release OT Sam Baker
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Baker is not physical enough to play in the zone scheme the Bills want. He is a finesse guy. He also can not stay healthy. No thank you -
Donald J. Trump, Worth 9 billion
atlbillsfan1975 replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Trump is a guy who likes to stroke his own ego. He will never be president of the US. It is good for him to get his name out there as a candidate, but he will pull out before things really heat up. I like Trump and admire what he has accomplished, i also know he admires himself a lot as well. -
Eagles released Evan Mathis
atlbillsfan1975 replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Glad to hear the Bills are passing. IMHO it backs up more what we have been hearing from the staff, they like what they have. Yes money came into play. I also really believe we are going to be pleasantly surprised by a new staff with a new scheme and some players having a year to develope. I predict Mathis to the Falcons. -

If Whaley and Ryan want him and our cap guys think it can work with Marcel's deal coming up, i am all for it. I am a little wary of signing a soon to be 34 year old guard to anything more then a 3 year deal. -
Colts hang "AFC Finalist" banner at Lucas Oil
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They should just hang a division champs banner. I know that seems like a mundane accomplishment right now for the Colts, one day it will not. Being an Atl Braves fan it always seemed like a lesser accomplishment to just win the div and make the playoffs. Now many of us would kill for that. -
These are 'rich people problems' if true. By this i mean, Miller is as good as billed. CK is ready to go. Henderson has taken a step up from his rookie year. I fully expect Cordy and Wood to be starting. Those are proven guys who will help you win games. I think Glenn/Miller/Woods/Cog/Henderson are the starters. CK is the back up right tackle. Henderson can move to LT if need be(injury).

Manziel Throws a Nice Water Bottle
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I got to go with EJ over Johnny. This story being one of the main reasons. EJ has proven he can win a game in the NFL and also he can act like a professional. These two things alone will allow him to at the very least be a back up in this league for 10 years. Johnny seems like a shooting star that will burn out pretty quick. -
This is really what matters. The DV incident is horrible and Rice will have to live with it and deal with it. At this point IF he has then he should be allowed a second chance. He can spend the rest of his life being an ambassador for DV prevention and such. What I am concerned with is can he play RB at a level that will benefit the Bills. If not move on.

Quality of Bills Coaching Staff
atlbillsfan1975 replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we will also see it in talent evaluation.
