  1. Exactly right.
  2. Lots of positives, we have seen the Bills give up and lose 55-20 to the pats not very long ago. They didn't give up one bit. I liked how TT looked after that Watkins TD, calm and poised. I think TT will learn a lot from this game. Agree with all you said, we as Bills fans have to get over 'Rex talked to much sh*t, that is what inspired the Pats', Rex is the reason the Bills fought their way back.
  3. I can see Belichik and Brady trying to get Amendola involved , but if Danny has the dropsies Tommy won't keep looking that way.
  4. That was still Carroll. You are talking about the PI in the end zone?
  5. This is so true. Polian also has said that they had no doubt that they were going to draft Manning. I talked with someone in the draft room at Indy who said they were debating the day of the draft on Manning and Leaf.
  6. The question about Manning is, will he decline this year at the same pace he did the previous two seasons? If so he is starting at a lower place than he did in those two seasons.Age and injuries really look to be taking a toll on Manning. I like Manning, I think he is a true pro and has been great for the game. It is a long season and I fear his drop off in play will continue and by the end of the year we will be trying to remember how awesome he really was not is.
  7. I really do believe that REX and Roman talked at half and had a strategy not to show to many wrinkles on Offense, they didn't need to. Rex most likely told Roman lets protect the ball and the D will finish what the O has set up. The fact we saw zero read option plays makes me wonder how much we will see this week. Rex knows BB is a master at game planning. Roman didn't pull out a lot of plays because he had no need to. Lets hope we have the same luxury this week.
  8. First year playing fantasy football. I picked Stevie up before the first game. he helped me win my match up and end up with the highest points for the league. I have a feeling Stevie will do well with a solid QB throwing the ball.
  9. Good news, i hope Mckelvin gets back soon and looks as good as he did last year. It helps to have options, for the field and the negotiating table(Gilmore).
  10. The Bills also do not have to rely on George Wilson a converted WR to play safety. This team has depth unlike those other teams.
  11. For sure. You posters still talking about Fred is interesting. I see why he was so beloved and missed now, but it isn't because of what he is able to do on the field NOW. You guys living in the past need to let it go and move on. Fred has.
  12. It is removing fluid that builds up around the knee. It looks like a deep reddish color, thicker than water. basically the body sends fluid to an area where there is some type of 'stress', this cause the swelling to occur. You can drain the excess fluid off your knee and sometimes it will come back sometimes it will not. I have had it done a few times on both knees. It may mean there is a greater underlying problem or it could come from blunt force to the knee or surrounding area. Twisting of the knee can also cause the swelling. It does not really hurt to have your knee drained. Sometimes the doc will put a cortisone shot in why he is doing the draining. This will help with stability in the knee. My 2 cents, i am sure i butchered it and a real doctor can do a better job explaining.
  13. The Bills lined up and beat the Colts. There was no smoke and mirrors. In fact i think both units will improve a lot as the season goes on. It is a long season and anything can happen. This is a new team built with new players and coaches. None of those past teams have any real bearing on this one. I doubt there is any players still left from that 2011 team? If the Bills can put together another win like this last one against the Pats, they will serve notice that coming into RWS stadium and looking for a win will be hard. This year is going to be a fun fun year.
  14. i didn't see one read option yesterday. Not sure why that was. I don't think Indy has a D that is good at shutting that down. I bet we see the read option against NE. Teams put things away all the time. Smart coaches save plays for certain situations or opponents. That is my thought. Might be wrong.
  15. As someone else said. It isn't going to get any better next week with Kraft, Belichick, and Brady coming to town.
  16. Didn't they also get a half against Brady? Or does that not count because the Pats weren't really trying?
  17. Agree to disagree.
  18. They got up by 17 and Rex and Roman know who is next on the schedule.
  19. IF they build off this it could be the biggest win in the last 15years. As it stands this should be a good confidence builder for Taylor. I think we all have said that the Bills are a QB away from great things. Let's see if Taylor can keep up and get better from today's performance.
  20. Maybe said in jest, but I wonder if the Dolphins have the same team doctors.
  21. Wow! Brown! Kiko who?!
  22. 2 off season acquisitions paying off big time! Darby and Harvin! Good job Whaley.
  23. Anyone else a little concerned about our inability to run up the middle?
  24. I get your frustration, I do. If anything I am sure if you talked to people who have dealt with Bob Kraft in business would say he has questionable ethics. Just a hunch.
  25. If that happens the drought would end for one Franchise. Only two Franchises in football to lose 4 Super Bowls.
