Time to Fine and Bench for Selfish Penalties
atlbillsfan1975 replied to gjv001's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am sure there are clauses for actions detrimental to the team. Insubordination. Put them on notice that the next unprovoked unsportsmanlike conduct penalty is going to cost you. The Brooks penalty was just dumb. Over it. Oh and btw, Unions stink. Thanks for giving another example of that. -
EJ Maneul stinks out loud.

He is what he is. He will make a living being a back up QB. Not sure it will be in Buffalo or not. -
Time to Fine and Bench for Selfish Penalties
atlbillsfan1975 replied to gjv001's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Brooks penalty set the tone. It all went down hill from that point on 'ify' calls. Rex needs to start suspending players for a game and thus they lose a game check. Enough is enough. Get control of these guys. -
That was some bad D scheming today. Dalton is not Brady or Manning! You rush him blitz him hit him and he gives you the ball. Rex has lost his way. Sad. I wish we had the Real Rex from his first 2 years with NYJ. That guy was the real deal. This Rex does not have a pulse on his players or the opposing team. Brutal.

Wow! That isn't really reporting so much as speculation. UNLESS he has Rex saying it? If it is a 'source', I call b.s. And to be honest, is an example nog negligent journalism that is so pervasive today. -
I get the targeting thing. There is a fine line though where it benefits and hurts . Take last night, Julio Jones was targeted on the Falcons first play of the game, Ryan forced the ball to him and it was incomplete. Rodey White was wide open on a post that would of gone for an easy 6.I like Sammy and thinks he is awesome and also like his personality. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt on this one.

No one is completely healthy in the NFL except maybe kickers. I get what you are saying, but it is a fine line between can you go and are you a weakling for sitting out. It is the last piece of what goes into being able to play in the NFL, your thresh hold for pain. Talent, size, heart, intelligence all play a big role. Can you play with pain matters. If you said 'you can not play if you are in pain or hurt', i doubt you could field one team by this time of year.

Pats LT Nate Solder out for season
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So it's not just the Bills getting hit with the injury bug! Good to know. Does it matter? The Pats will find some guy who is delivering beer today to step in and Brady will be fine. -
Will Kromer's return help the OL?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it can help. A lot depends on what Kromers relationship is with each of his players. Kromer has been studying his players a ton and I am sure he will be able to help them with technique during the week and also during the game. When a player gets tired, technique is the first thing that breaks down. Kromer was hired for a reason and I think his absence has been felt. If not, why have him on the staff at all?! -
Bengals fans reaction to QB situation in Bflo
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And Fitz lead the Bills to a come from behind win against NE once upon a time. I don't want either as the QB for the Bills. Just saying, Dalton will show his true colors sooner or later. Hoping it is against the Bills! -

OK, so they have Andy Dalton. He will start to poop the bed sometime soon as the pressure mounts. He is NOT a gamer. I would argue they are almost in a worse spot than the Bills are. You have seen the ceiling for Dalton. TT is injured but has potential to be one heck of a QB. -

Guys, EJ CAN and HAS shown he can play in this league. I for one do not like TT being out but i feel a lot better about our situation than some of the other teams around the NFL. . I think all of us here want EJ to play well and the Bills to win. It helps the team now and in the future!! I could care less who plays QB as long as the Bills win. I am not an EJ or TT guy. Both of them have good qualities and both have some short comings. Neither of them are Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers. Glad EJ gets the week to get ready and let's hope Roman can draw up some stuff that plays to his strengths. I would love to see a big day of EJ to Wood. I know EJ never had these weapons around him when he played his first season or even really the beginning of last year. -
"Experts" Picks Week 6 vs Bengals

This game is going to be close. A lot will depend on injuries for the Bills. Was that prediction before or after the news about TT ankle? -

Sean Payton Staying with the Saints

Did anyone else catch Peter King and the other reporter on the Sunday Night show last night on NBC? King quoted Belichick for saying it is better to leave a year early then a year to late. They were talking about Payton, it seemed like it was not really meant for the air? -
It was the way he said it. i do like Collinsworth at times. He does display a level of arrogance sometimes that rubs me the wrong way.
