Nailed it.I hope Taylor can continue to improve. I am not really sure of what the scheme was today. I do know that going for 20+ yard passes constantly on 3rd downs with 5 or less yards is frustrating. The final pass was a 3rd and 8. You have two attempts to get 8 yards. Middle of the field is open, Taylor goes to what he feels comfortable doing, deep ball. His touch was off since the Watkins bomb in the first quarter. Sad .

Who Still Likes the Rex Hire
atlbillsfan1975 replied to billsfan_34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was all for the Rex hire. Unfortunately Rex handles himself more like a fan and less like a coach on the sidelines. -
It feels like he isn't the same guy. His play this year is similar to his last one in Houston. Not sure what the problem is but his stubbornness to learn a new system is becoming a trend.

For all of those still pinning over Kiko Alonso
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am to familiar with watching an ex Bill make a key play during a game. Here's to Kiki making 10 tackles today, none before 5 yards down field. And none being a game saver. -
Aaron Williams to IR-DTR; Out for the Season
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
NO would trade him for a bag of balls at this point. I worry about Rambos cover ability. Solid hitter, but good QB's can take advantage of his overly aggressive play. -
Miller expected to start
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And we know who is better right? J/K Anyone who has played O line or understands the game knows that those 5 guys play as one. Sometimes scheme changes to compensate for one parts weakness. I am not saying Miller is that much better than Urbik today, I am saying Miller has a much higher ceiling. The only way to have Miller reach his full potential is with pt. so if the docs say he is healthy and Miller thinks he can go, he plays. -
Predict What The Bills Will Look Like in 5 years
atlbillsfan1975 replied to UBBullsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only thing Vick and TT have in common is being black QB's in the NFL. You never really watched Vick his first few years. TT is a much better passer than Vick ever was.TT is a better Jeff Garcia in his best couple seasons. Let's hope TT progress way beyond that ! -
Everyone including myself has been saying this. Any yet Roman does not do it. I have to wonder why? I think Roman knows more about football than i do, and thus he knows you have to get the ball in the hands of your best players. Is injury a concern for Watkins? Could this be why there is a lack of screens or plays that would allow Watkins takes more direct contact hits? It seems Watkins can catch most anything, he does have a few bobbles, but he also has the ability to snatch the ball right out of the air. My only other thought is has Roman ever had a receiver like Watkins before? A true #1 receiver, who needs 7-12 targets a game because he can flip the field. Roman has been up and down this year and i want to think a lot of it has to do with learning his players. He does know as do we all that Watkins and TT can connect deep.

Wild Card Race and Intel on Teams in the Hunt

As I looked at that I thought ' the Bills can beat any of those teams'. Been a long time since I felt that way. -

Bills Release Mulligan and Promote O'Leary

I saw that one too. This was Mulligan. I think it was a run play. -
OLINE FILM REVIEW-WEEK 12-TEXANS-MILLS SHINES
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
awesome info. Did Mulligan get destroyed on a run play? I swear i remember him trying to block maybe Watt or Clowney 1 on 1 and he got abused. Poor scheme, but Mulligan needed to do a little bit better. -
5 best and 5 worst current Bills
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
how can you not have Carpenter on the list for his play this year? His missing of the extra point in KC might be a major factor in why the Bills could miss the playoffs. IF Carpenter was a DB who got burnt as many times as he has missed extra points, you would all have him on your list. He needs to go. He can get a job as a Kid Rock impersonator. -
The Bills - the best team in the NFL
atlbillsfan1975 replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think and hope you are joking. Get to the playoffs if nothing else to remove the curse of the past 15 seasons, and take a step towards the ultimate goal of winning a SB. -
Freddie was a good back and a better team mate and person. He is not in the same class talent wise. Did you see last week just before the half where McCoy stayed in bounds and took a hit to keep the clock going? Almost every back allows themselves to get taken out of bounds there. Talent and brains and i think he is warming to playing in Buffalo.

Whelp, they're trotting out the '72 dolphins
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i agree about the regular season. They have to play Atlanta twice, that's two easy wins. What do you see in Seattle this year? -
I remember some posts in here saying the same thing about Felton. I agreed. This past week Felton appeared to make much more of an impact. They seem to like using him on that sweep play as an extra pulling Olineman. McCoy is by far the best RB we have seen since Thurman. McCoy gets 9 yards when most backs would get stopped at the line or maybe a few yards. If McCoy stays healthy i like the Bills shot at the playoffs.

anyone besides us on this board? HA i think we saw a few differences in opinion between Rex and Whaley. From an outsides perspective it appeared as if Whaley attempted to flex his muscle once or twice with the EJ vs Cassel situation. Interesting to see if there is any fall out over this or any other moves.

Bills Release Mulligan and Promote O'Leary
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i did not watch all 22 or the game again but i did see Mulligan get abused once and it caused the Bills to lose a big chunk of yards. -
Tyrod was everything I wanted in a QB today
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The thing about Taylor is he is showing progression. The pass to Clay over the middle was amazing. It showed he could make a throw over the middle and also he led Clay. I am not saying for sure 100% TT is the solution to the Bills long QB issue. I think this is more about me not TT. Every QB has bad stretches. I think TT is showing he can be pretty good to great if given time and a decent scheme.
