NFL Arrests since 2000 (Bills #26)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall
Couple of points- Arrests aren’t indicative of guilt, let’s remember that. What someone is being arrested for can range from loitering to murder…big difference. -
That was my first thought. Timing of the trade gives the Saints a couple of weeks to move up more. Maybe they like one of the QB’s and want to go get him.

Everything I have seen from Gilmore is a play for pay mentality. Now every professional has that to some degree, but you can also play with heart. I don’t see much heart from Gilmore.

No thanks. I doubt this is true. Can someone please tell me what about his personality fits with the culture the Bills have?

Patriots trade for DeVante Parker

You are showing cracks. A sign the truth is seeping into reality for you. I know. That Pats fan said it numerous times last season…if that doesn’t show you how ignorant he is, I’m not sure what else will. Nobody anywhere would take Jones over Allen. None. -

You are on record saying that Belichick would want Jones as his QB over Allen. Don’t be surprised if those of us who have read most of your posts know exactly what your motives are for being here. It is just getting tougher ever game for you to keep your smugness since your team got run out of the playoffs by the Bills and your QB is mediocre, with limited talent for any true improvement. -

When did Parker become a “very good “ wide receiver? -
Great point about the safeties. If the Bills can find another good to great CB in the draft, I’m not for trading up to find one, this D will be even more improved.

I became a Bills fan, like maybe some of you, because it was quality time I spent with my dad, uncle, and cousin. My grandfather worked for the Bills, so as far back as I can recall I was privileged enough to spend time in the locker room and on the field around the players and coaches. Being 46, the Super Bowl teams happened right around my high school years and definitely galvanized my fandom. I have already began teaching my young son about the Bills. He is 2.5 years old and can recognize a Bills logo and he loves to say “D-Knox!” Followed by a fist bump.

Bills match Bears Offer Sheet for Ryan Bates, 4 yr deal
atlbillsfan1975 replied to nato7412's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am holding out hope that a new offensive coaching staff can help unlock the potential Ford flashed his rookie year at times. I know the flash were brief, but many of us felt a transition to guard would benefit Cody and the team. If he is healthy and has embraced the role, we could see that he can be an adequate guard in the league. Let’s give Kromer a chance, if he can’t maximize Ford than I guess Cody’s only shot is a change of scenery for any chance in the league. -

Not sure Beane can flip Ford for a pick in this draft. I could see the Bills picking an IOL in this draft and then “show casing” Ford in preseason for hopes of getting something for him in 2023. This is Beane’s compensatory pick approach. Stock pile olinemen because you can never have enough and someone always needs one. -
The one thing I learned last week was the Bills have allocated roughly $2.5 mil for Bates. This happens when you tender a player an offer. If Bates signs someplace else that money gets added back to the Bills cap. Maybe one of those positions then gets addressed. I think the draft is also a place Beane feels very comfortable addressing IOL and CB.

Pickens is an amazing talent. As a UGA fan we got glimpses of what he could be between injuries and other issues. Not sure I would taking him in the first round, but someone might. He has the skills to be a round one pick. Right after the season I was thinking he might be a second or third round pick that would be a steal.
-
Yep and Beane doesn’t strike me as the kind of GM to give up a valuable draft pick (rounds 1-5) for someone who has a 50/50 shot at being a FA.

Go back and watch the last two plays Hughes was half a step from getting to Mahomes on one of the plays…Miller gets there. -

Doesn’t seem like a move a team would make who could just plug any receiver in and be the same as it was with Hill.
