  1. Maybe it is difficult to learn and a complex scheme. Maybe next year the team will have it down and be able to execute it at a high rate. The thought occurred to me, don't we want a complex D Scheme? I mean I get talent and such but the harder it is for another team to figure out all the different sets the better for the D. Maybe Rex knows he has 3 years and this is looking at year two and three? Just a thought and a lot of maybes.
  2. That is very sad to hear. IF he lost that 20 LBs over like a week or two that is scary stuff. Even if he weighs 320, that is roughly 7% of his weight. That would have an effect on how strong and resilient he could be. All the best.
  3. mario has been taking plays off all the way back to the NE game in Buffalo when Gronk blocked him one on one for a NE TD. A player making his kind of money and with his talent should not be taking plays off. BTW has Mario ever been a team captain? Here or in Houston?
  4. that is what is really frustrating. Over this playoff drought we always seem to have one side of the ball playing really good while the other not so much. take this years O with last years D and we have a playoff caliber team.
  5. I will be taking my nieces to see the Nutcracker, only fitting since the Bills kicked me in mine again! I am actually looking forward to a Sunday without having my emotions hinge on a bunch of guys who can not control themselves. Still love the Bills and always will, but this version is not worth anymore of my Sundays.
  6. I have a feeling NFC West will not be what it was 2 years ago. AFC North will be tough for sure, but there will be two teams that stink from it. Kind of like our division. To answer the question, none. Injuries stink, but i think back to the Pack's SB win against Pitt, they were missing an ungodly amount of people. Drafting right will help, i think Whaley is on the right track. This time next year i think we will all be in better spirits.
  7. Sorry for the miss spelling.Hope you feel better about yourself.
  8. Yep, i agree. Rex is not dumb, i believe he will grow with the job, just like we all do. I think he can be a great coach if he can stop the bravado stuff and be himself with his guys. Like he did while DC at Balt. One thing to be that way behind closed doors with your guys. In public be humble and intelligent.
  9. who can say for sure they are not, however i think if you look at every mistake or 'bad luck' situation you can trace the causes of it.
  10. Injuries are an unfortunate part of the game. I am frustrated like everyone else, we just need a season where we have some good luck.
  11. Gotta agree with this. the way players act starts with the tone set by the HC. I doubt we will hear 'we are going to be a bully' out of Rex's mouth in the off season. I hope he has learned to coach more and talk less.
  12. He has not been good. Couple that with the way he acted his rookie season with Ej and i am just not a fan of his.
  13. The issue i have with Rex is how he handles himself on the sideline. He just appears not in control. From poor challenges to no challenges to the way he sprinted down the sideline to call an obvious time out. I like Rex and like how he gets what the Bills mean to Buffalo and the fans everywhere. I hope another year and less injuries will equal a playoff birth finally.
  14. I am not surprised and not a fan of his.
  15. He is the type of player Rex likes. Unless Lawson's agent way over values him, he will be back.
  16. Maybe beside the point and also a crazy idea, but do you think that was why it was overthrown? Woods can't get down the field like Sammy?
  17. Biggest game of the year and honestly everyone let it become to much.
  18. Nailed it.I hope Taylor can continue to improve. I am not really sure of what the scheme was today. I do know that going for 20+ yard passes constantly on 3rd downs with 5 or less yards is frustrating. The final pass was a 3rd and 8. You have two attempts to get 8 yards. Middle of the field is open, Taylor goes to what he feels comfortable doing, deep ball. His touch was off since the Watkins bomb in the first quarter. Sad .
  19. I was all for the Rex hire. Unfortunately Rex handles himself more like a fan and less like a coach on the sidelines.
  20. It feels like he isn't the same guy. His play this year is similar to his last one in Houston. Not sure what the problem is but his stubbornness to learn a new system is becoming a trend.
  21. First thing that popped in my head, doesn't a 'slow track' hurt the fast paced Eagles O? If both teams are playing on the same field it is hard to complain about it being unfair. Shady can be good for stuff like this, giving training staff a heads up on cleat selection.
  22. Maybe Roman has been throwing the deep ball to Watkins to loosen them up. Now with the final quarter of the season left we get the full arsenal of what Watkins can do. The Bills need a big day from Sammy and the wide outs.
  23. I am to familiar with watching an ex Bill make a key play during a game. Here's to Kiki making 10 tackles today, none before 5 yards down field. And none being a game saver.
  24. NO would trade him for a bag of balls at this point. I worry about Rambos cover ability. Solid hitter, but good QB's can take advantage of his overly aggressive play.
