I hear ya, and have heard the similar story. What ,if any, would of been the financial difference if the Bills had fired him vs him quitting? Again, i am not saying Pegs wanted to fire him.

Too bad for the guy. I laugh when people tell me Marrone quit on the Bills. While technically true, i think Pegs got what he wanted. I think and i might be wrong, Pegs even saved a little money with Marrone quitting vs firing him. Please correct me if wrong.

If Henderson is interviewing for DB position coaching vacancies than it would appear he was not happy with something in Buffalo under Rex. The hiring of Rob the day before makes it appear that Henderson does not approve of this hire or the chain of command. By all accounts Henderson was a good position coach. I sure hope Rex knows what he is doing. Picking up Rob and losing arguably our best postilion coach does not feel like a fair trade.

Rob has not been great at DC. What about as a position coach? Working with family is tough in any setting. Throw In the high stakes of the NFL and this seems like it could go very wrong. My knee jerk reaction is Rex is like 'F' it. If I have one more year to be a HC I am going to have my brother with me. Rob gets a job and Rex has one guy he knows he can trust w him.

Reid is a good coach but I doubt he wanted to coach the Bills. There is no evidence to suggest either side had interest in the other. As for KC, Reid has a nice team w a decent QB. This is a down year all together in the NFL, who knows how it will end up.

I watched the game with my buddy who is a diehard Bengals fan. My heart went out to him when Cincy fumbled that last time. I knew what was coming. Both teams played very dirty and it was not a game where sportsman like conduct was regularly displayed. I agree Lewis has to go at this point. The steelers were just as out of control, however Tomlin gets a pass because they won and he has a ring.

What constitutes 'elite' status? Who does Gilmore view as also being In that echelon of players? Gilmore is very good, he is not 'shut down' corner status from what I have seen. I don't think OC's or QB's game plan around him, do you guys?

There was a lot of talk about Marrone last year too. I hope Jackson gets a shot. He sounds like a good guy who truly enjoys working with young men making them better at football and life.

He was the difference maker in the Tenn. game. Taylor turned it on in the 4th and lead the Bills to victory. There is not one game i can say 'Taylor is the reason we lost that game'. There were some games we played way to conservatively and thus i think Taylor held back. I hope that Taylor and Roman continue developing the passing game. One that includes heavy doses of Watkins and Clay. Clay will be huge next year if healthy.

Maybe not yet. If you are a Bills fan hope he is and stop tying be the guy who can say 'I told you so' if he fails. Tyrod is the best QB the Bills have had since Bledsoe best year. Tyrod has things to improve, middle of the field routes and moving around in the pocket to find passing lanes. I like what I see so far and you should too.

give it sometime. jim wasn't a great leader his first few years in the league. He needed to learn a little humility and mature. Taylor needs more experience and i think the more he is the starter the more he will fill a leadership role. TT wants it more than anything in the world. you can see it from TT.
