  1. Hasn't it been the Buffalo way for the last 16 years to pile up meaningless wins? J/k I want the Bills to win today, and actually want to see how they play. I think it says a lot about Rex today. We know 1 player isn't happy but I want to see if there are more malcontents. The Bills can and should beat the Jets today all things equal.
  2. The record will not be as good this year as last, but Rex will have a better first season in Buffalo than Marrone did. I think both of those scenarios are comparing apples to oranges. I could argue with all that new 'superior' talent comes time to gel. From my years of watching sports more times than not year two brings the biggest growth area when a lot of new pieces are added.
  3. you have to ask Mario why he is acting the way he is now. he isn't acting very professional.
  4. This is now a pattern with MW. Forget who the coaches are, he quit. Rex doesn't have to start him, and can play him sparingly. Let MW show his true colors and refuse to play if he doesn't start.
  5. That was a big blow with there first rounder going down in preseason.
  6. I could see Atlanta. They are in desperate need of a pass rusher, they have not had one since Abraham.
  7. Leonard is more 'with it' asleep than McKelvin is wide awake on game day. I always have liked McKelvin as a competitor i have also always disliked his inability to grasp certain fundamentals. As safety McKelvin could keep the game in front of him more times than not. He is still very fast. Not sure if Rex's D is suited for a center field type ball hawker over the top? McKelvin is every bit as fast as Reed was in Baltimore but not nearly as physical.
  8. I think that number is a little high. Of that 20 that could mean replacing 9 starters, I don't see that. Maybe 12-15 not back and replacing 5 starters sounds more reasonable. The owners just said they like the GM and Coach. The GM and Coach say they like working together. The GM brought in the vast majority of this talent or was here while it was assembled.
  9. a year of continuity may be a good thing. Whaley will find a few LB's who will suit Rex's system in the off season, whether by draft or FA. Whaley will work hard at getting the guys signed the Bills want back. under Whaley's watch i can not think of one Bill's FA that got away that i really miss. Get rid of the malcontent players and fill back in with guys that want to be here and play for Rex and his system on D. Let Roman keep working with Tyrod. If not in the playoffs in 2016, then i think we hear the Pegulas singing a new tune.
  10. Kind of of the Steelers do things. Re-sign your good players. Draft good, and pick up some Vets here and there.
  11. Agree that if the training staff ok'd him I would be ok with it. Knee jerk reaction is no thank you. Draft or find a real number 2 wide out.
  12. The first NE game was an eye opener, but the way the team fought back I thought they showed something. The Poor performance vs the Giants showed no heart and no planning. I was pissed the Bills were playing another team on extra rest. The KC game showed we have horrible coaching. Great talent but bad coaching across the board. KC made adjustments and won.
  13. HGH is horrible for the body. How many players in the concussion law suit were also taking steroids or some other illegal substance?
  14. Merry Christmas and my thoughts as well!
  15. Fred has contributed minimally to a nearly finished product in Seattle. Good for him and wish him well. The backs the Bills have are better- McCoy, Williams, and now Gillisle.
  16. I wonder why no one has interviewed Ray Lewis about Rex and his scheme? Arguably the greatest LB of all time and had great success with Rex.
  17. Mario needs to be quiet. he is making himself look worse by the second. I do not want him back. Maybe this is part of the reason things did not look good this year? Mario was being an insubordinate and undermining Rex? Shows total lack of professionalism on Mario's part, and a real disrespect for the Bills, who to my knowledge keep giving him a huge paycheck. Mario has some serious issues he needs to work on. This is not the first time he has acted this way. i personally am done with him. You do not like it, ok we get it, but play hard and do not act so immature and unprofessional. Dogging it is never seen in a positive light by anyone in the NFl, even more so when you consider this is the second team he has done it too. Good luck and get out of Buffalo. p.s. no wonder you got dumped!
  18. I never blame a player for taking more money. I do not like it necessarily when an ex Bill takes more money and tanks it. I do like thinking the GM knew what he was doing.
  19. It is their choice and they at the very least make mid six figures.Sorry buddy, if these guys don't want to play then they don't have to play. But if they cash the checks they should give the effort.
  20. You know the kid from the PS will be playing hard at least.
  21. Great talent but a head case. Insubordination is not good on any level. He seems like a very immature guy between his antics here and with the fiancé and ring thing.
  22. So glad I quit too! Have fun fellas watching a bunch of people who don't care about our team and make more money than most of us ever will.
  23. Thank you. Is this normal for GM's? I know coaches don't like working with out a contract maybe the writing is on the wall for Whaley?
  24. Thought- Whaley wants out. Marrone showed him the blue print last year, demand more authority. Whaley gets fired and collects all his salary, while finding a new job someplace else.
  25. Hmmm, this is strange. seems like this is becoming a theme with Whaley? Trying to exert his will on his coaching staffs. If I was Whaley i think I would be taking the approach of bringing everyone back staff wise, and trying to build on talent. If Rex wasn't his hire then he is basically saying ' I told you so to the Pegulas'
