Saints release Jahri Evans

Would this impact the deal with Richie at all? -
Johnny Manziel (update: waived by Browns)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They are not obligated to, nor should they. Where would it stop? I think just the opposite, they would be smart to point out everything they have done for Johnny. Let Johnny and the world know help is available, when Johnny wants it. Then wait. As to the other poster i was speaking about his father saying 'they' need to get him help or Johnny will not see 24. WHO should be responsible for that more so than his own FAMILY? That is what upsets me. IF the Manziel family can not help Johnny who can? Like we have said only Johnny can. Let him be. IF he is guilty of a crime arrest him. Let him figure out HIS life. Everyone has attempted to help him. Now let him figure it out. -
The pro bowls proves how physically demanding the game is. Guys do not want to get injured so they don't play hard. Just get rid of it. Why do we need one? Vote for best players at each position, but do not play a game. This would allow players to still be named as a pro bowler or all pro. This would help for contract clauses and voting for the HOF.

Johnny Manziel (update: waived by Browns)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Crazy question, does it even matter that Manziel has only played 2 seasons? I mean by all accounts Manziel is not even qualified yet for an NFL pension. Why is he due anything from the NFL? This isn't something that was caused by the League. This isn't due to an injury. Why is Manziels family not doing more. I fail to see why the NFL is responsible at all for this. -
30 for 30: The '85 Bears
atlbillsfan1975 replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The thing is, the stadium was chanting Payton Payton in the second half. It was a noticed by everyone in the Superdome before the game ended. Ditka had to know what he was doing. If he says otherwise he is lying. -
30 for 30: The '85 Bears

I went to that Super Bowl as a kid with my father. Simply an amazing experience. when we got home my dad told me if I ever wanted to go on another guys trip I shouldn't tell my mom anything! Ha The thing that sticks out about that game is Ditka not getting Walter Peyton into the end zone. The Fridge was a novelty. They were passing out styro foam mini refridgerators on sticks. -
Johnny Manziel (update: waived by Browns)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He may end up in some type of facility In order to side step jail time. -
I think we all agree we want the left side of the line back. If $5.5 gets Richie to sign, ok. I will put my trust in Whaley. I think he will find a way to keep Incognito and Glenn together. I would rather spend our first couple of picks on D. We don't need two tackle spots in doubt heading into the draft.

Johnny Manziel (update: waived by Browns)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
what would you have the league do? Manziel has refused treatment. The best thing to do at this point is leave Manziel alone or have him committed if his father really feels Johnny is a danger to himself. Anyone fighting addiction has to come to the conclusion they need help. You can not force it on them. -
Bills sign CB/PR Javier Arenas
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McKelvin scares the heck out of me returning punts.I do think there is a place for him as a back up CB, but at a discounted rate. The thing is there are so many teams where McKelvin could be a starter and thus get 4-5mil. -

Brooks has been notified he will not be resigned, Arenas could slide into his role. ST and reserve CB. -
Bills odds for Super Bowl LI
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was interesting. Kudos to The FO and Owner for sticking w Rivera and continuity for the Panthers. It paid off. No matter win or lose the Panthers are the envy of 30 other fan bases right now. -
Super Bowl/Presidents Day
atlbillsfan1975 replied to SinceThe70s's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Money dictates the game being a 6pm east coast time kick or later. I would love a 4pm east coast kick off on a Sunday. Not sure about the Saturday night idea. The day after the Super Bowl is the number one call out sick to work day. -
Before that draft I recall more than a few people calling into question Univ of Texas players.

This thought process might of contributed to the Bills taking Maybin over Orakepo?

NFL Concussion Numbers Up Significantly in 2015
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep, you guys nailed it. I wonder if numbers are actually down for concussions in general? Think about 30 years ago when players where becoming bigger stronger faster yet equipment was trying to catch up. There was very few rules to protect head to head contact. -
Guess Tyrod's Next Contract
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he improves next year somewhat and the Bills make the playoffs finally. It will be more about the D and the run game than Taylor going for 5000 yds and 40 TD's. This will leave the Bills in a bit of a predicament. Taylor will want to be in the $20mil a year club. 5 years $110mil $45mil guaranteed over the first 3 years. And he gets a $15mil signing bonus. Years 4 and 5 will allow the Bills to rework his deal or cut him. Way off base? Still figuring out how the cap hit works etc. In my mind the Bills end up assuring Taylor he gets $60 mil over 3 years between singing bonus and $15mil a year salary. Years 4 and 5 he goes to $25mil a season for salary. Bills can rework the deal, or if Taylor is playing well and the cap has increased this could be the going rate? You capologists help me see the light on how to do this? -
Denver D calling out Brady and Gronk
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Get over it. Brady is not Superman. He can be beat and was. Every team in the AFC east needs to watch that beat down on Sunday. -
Got to agree. For ever big hit that may cause a turnover there are blown coverages and poor angles on tackles.

Bills going to the Pro Bowl
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For so many people their opinion is based off where a player is drafted and if someone else said they were good. If Taylor had been drafted in the first or second round and produced like he did this year as a rookie, every Bills fan would be filled with a ton of optimism. The fact that Taylor came by trade and was a late round pick means he has a lower ceiling for some. I honestly have no idea if we have seen Taylor's best ball, i think he has shown he WANTS to learn and improve and showed some modest improvement as the season went along. -
