  1. Got to agree. I think the Bills were the one thing my father and I had most in common. I use to give him crap about being such a pessimist. He passed in 2004. i turned 40 last year and like so many other things that my dad did that I now do, I have begun to be that pessimist.
  2. Say what you want about the man, without him we would not have the Bills. For me they are a very important part of who I am. For that I will always be grateful to Ralph Wilson.
  3. SSShhhh. Do not tell this to some people living in Buffalo! Honestly to your, things are changing in Western New York. People are staying and moving back. As the baby boomers die off, the younger 30's-50's will fill in and also fill the stadium up. Those of you who want to live in fear, it is cool. The rest will move forward.
  4. Anyone who thinks Whaley is the problem is sorely mistaken.
  5. right now it is all good for the Bills. IF Taylor has a good year and plays better than last year, they will pay him. Buffalo will have found a QB. The agent is right about that point. IF Taylor doesn't improve he will get a deal similar to Kaep or Daltons.
  6. Hogan in NE is a slight concern for maybe sharing what TT is more comfortable with. Mario tuned out last year entirely , doubt he will be of much help.
  7. I think the scheme for at least the next two year sin Miami will be to Mario's liking, that is why he signed there. I am expecting much complaining from people on here when Mario looks like a beast in the two games this year against Miami. We will try to remind them about this past season here and they will counter with it being Rex's fault. The same people who blame gun companies for violence.
  8. I kind of agree with you Kdiggz that some Bills fans see certain players with rose color glasses. Gilmore is good but I just don't see him as elite. Does his draft spot have anything to do with people's opinion? I think Darby was as good last year maybe even better, in year 1. This could be due to expectations on my part, I will be honest.
  9. Slow Girl? That was Reed's nickname at LSU from what I'm told
  10. he is a more talented stevie Johnson who for some reason can't put the numbers up Stevie did.
  11. This is what I was thinking, and he is cheap.
  12. Maybe AW can be of help with the transition of corner to safety. Looks like a solid depth guy who has starting experience. Nothing flashy but exactly the type of signing i think we all wanted to see. We got better.
  13. Get him down to 350 and he has a shot. He is agile, strong and big. Those three things combined with the ability to take and give a hit will allow him a shot. He has to get serious about his weight and he could make himself a lot of money.
  14. Why do you think that about Hogan? Brady usually attempts 40+ passes a game. I get only so many balls to go around but Brady will find the open guy.
  15. Good for him. He says he isn't feeling it and wants to take a year off to be with his mom and aunt who have health issues. Raji has afforded himself that luxury by what he has made so far. And anyone saying you could not live off what he has made is being silly. $26+ million . I get after taxes and such, but still. He takes a year off, spends time with his family. If he feels the urge to come back he does so next year and will get a good deal from some team.
  16. Fitz, might just be saying to himself 'I have enough money, I will only play for this money'. Fitz is a smart guy. He knows about all the health issues of playing the game. It is also March, as the season gets closer both teams and players get more anxious.
  17. Mario can still play and he will be good for the Phins. He will also play the Bills extremely tough. Mario seems like he has an up and down personality when it comes to the game. He is going to be ready to prove he can do it. He still is in great shape and can be a force. To think he isn't going to be chasing TT around is living in denial.
  18. I apologize if I sounded like you only need 2 corners in Rex's D. I understand you need good talent in any scheme at as many positions possible. I also agree with the talent that was on the roster being suited for the 4-3. Rex even said he was trying to do what you suggested and he didn't get the job done. Now Rex wants to implement his scheme 100%. I am hopeful that the Bills will have the right amount of playmakers on each level to accomplish this come opening day. I also hope they will all have bought into it and prepared for it.
  19. Here is the thing, Schwartzs D was good for the Bills personnel 2 yeas ago. That D needs a dominant front 4. It relies more on talent and less on scheme. This is good. The front 4 have the autonomy to usually just control their had with either a rush of clog for the run. Problem with this is cost. In Scwartzs D you have to pay 4 maybe 4 guys premium dollars. Of course you still have to have good corner play, which will come at a price as well. Now Rex's D is more scheme based less individual talent based. Rex's D is based off the unit working together as 1. Rex's D relies on outstanding corner play, leaving them on an island so the other 9 guys can attack. 2 vs 4 premium paid . My thought at least.
  20. He looks like a giant dbag there! Maybe the pizza thing is clouding my perception. JJ Watt has to be saying 'this guy now?!'
  21. Why oh why does anyone follow her? She has no differential abilities or talents from anyone else in the world, except to say things that make little to no sense. I do not get it at all. The fact that Brent stays with her and allows this to go on also says something about him. She uses him to make herself feel relevant. God bless the Bucs for having to put up with that.
  22. With Fitzs as QB Denver would not have won the AFC championship game. That was a classic game for Fitz to be Fitz and throw a 4th quarter Int that sets NE up for the victory.
  23. He will annoy Brady big time. Drop the easy one and then make a jaw dropper. Inconsistent has been Hogans major issue.
  24. IF Hogan does go to NE it does NOT mean he will become the next Wes Welker. Remember when a lot of people said Chandler will be the next great NE TE?
  25. The 'lost' guys were for the most part later round draft picks OR guys signed late in FA, except Mario and McKelvin. My point is while all were contributors on some level, that talent can be replaced and doesn't need to be replaced early in FA while teams our over paying. It's up to Whaley and his guys to find the next Rambo's and Boobie's.
