  1. Yep, Whaley has to find two impact players in this draft. And one more that will be a solid contributor this year. A solid draft with these FA signings and what the Bills kept, let's hope it means the playoff drought ends.
  2. All of these signings seem like exactly what Buffalo was set up to do in FA. Almost everyone of these guys has game experience and/or is a ST player. Love the Blanton, Brown, and Velasco signings. Upgrades right away over Rambo, Bradham, and Urbik. I like Browns ability to cover and in this D I think his skill set is better suited than Bradham.
  3. I doubt the league is in any hurry to reinstate him. If it doesn't happen before the draft this is irrelevant.
  4. Wow. Scary and sad. i cant believe what people will kill some one over. I hope someone asks this 30 year old if he is glad he had a gun with him. He takes someone's life and also throws his away in the heat of the moment . Ridiculous and pointless , tragic.
  5. I missed this about the cap space for 2017. Thanks guys for shedding the light on that for me. This now makes a ton more sense in regards to Glenn and Gilmore. I think Whaley has assured both these players they are going to get paid, they just need to play out the season till Whaley gets some cap space. Whaley may even have assured them that barring a career ending injury he will sign both to long term deals. Crazy thought on my part?
  6. i would not want Belichick saying nice things about me.
  7. Upgrade over Urbik for a reduced price. What's not to like?
  8. Which could be why they didn't flourish?
  9. Yep.I watch a good bit of Falcons games, Biermann is a great pickup as a rotational guy being asked to play 12-17 snaps. He is also the type of guy who I think would be 100% a Rex guy.
  10. I just don't see it. Of course it could happen. It will depend on how it happens. IF a number of key injuries occur, but the team plays hard and ends up 8-8 or 9-7, I think everything stays the same. IF a total collapse happens, Rex is gone.
  11. Got to agree. I think the Bills were the one thing my father and I had most in common. I use to give him crap about being such a pessimist. He passed in 2004. i turned 40 last year and like so many other things that my dad did that I now do, I have begun to be that pessimist.
  12. Say what you want about the man, without him we would not have the Bills. For me they are a very important part of who I am. For that I will always be grateful to Ralph Wilson.
  13. SSShhhh. Do not tell this to some people living in Buffalo! Honestly to your, things are changing in Western New York. People are staying and moving back. As the baby boomers die off, the younger 30's-50's will fill in and also fill the stadium up. Those of you who want to live in fear, it is cool. The rest will move forward.
  14. Anyone who thinks Whaley is the problem is sorely mistaken.
  15. right now it is all good for the Bills. IF Taylor has a good year and plays better than last year, they will pay him. Buffalo will have found a QB. The agent is right about that point. IF Taylor doesn't improve he will get a deal similar to Kaep or Daltons.
  16. Hogan in NE is a slight concern for maybe sharing what TT is more comfortable with. Mario tuned out last year entirely , doubt he will be of much help.
  17. I think the scheme for at least the next two year sin Miami will be to Mario's liking, that is why he signed there. I am expecting much complaining from people on here when Mario looks like a beast in the two games this year against Miami. We will try to remind them about this past season here and they will counter with it being Rex's fault. The same people who blame gun companies for violence.
  18. I kind of agree with you Kdiggz that some Bills fans see certain players with rose color glasses. Gilmore is good but I just don't see him as elite. Does his draft spot have anything to do with people's opinion? I think Darby was as good last year maybe even better, in year 1. This could be due to expectations on my part, I will be honest.
  19. Slow Girl? That was Reed's nickname at LSU from what I'm told
  20. he is a more talented stevie Johnson who for some reason can't put the numbers up Stevie did.
  21. This is what I was thinking, and he is cheap.
  22. Maybe AW can be of help with the transition of corner to safety. Looks like a solid depth guy who has starting experience. Nothing flashy but exactly the type of signing i think we all wanted to see. We got better.
  23. Get him down to 350 and he has a shot. He is agile, strong and big. Those three things combined with the ability to take and give a hit will allow him a shot. He has to get serious about his weight and he could make himself a lot of money.
  24. Why do you think that about Hogan? Brady usually attempts 40+ passes a game. I get only so many balls to go around but Brady will find the open guy.
