SJBF was the best. we butted heads a little early on about Bruce Irvin, but later became pretty consistent with our opinions. What happened to him?! Miss him

Jaylon Smith - What round is he worth the risk?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Someone will take him by the third round. The upside is to great. It takes one team that has an extra pick in the 2nd to rationalize it to themselves. Tenn has 3 picks in the first 15 of the second. NE has two picks at the end of the second. I could see BB taking him. -

Did he suffer a set back? -
Similar bodies and similar styles coming out of college. Go look at Kerney's career and tell me you would still take him in round 2. Kerney was a two time all pro and also Defensive player of the year. He was a very solid player for about 9 years, with a few great ones sprinkled in. This is what I think Bosa will be like.

If Bosa's career is similar to Patrick Kerney's, where would you draft him?

I think the big difference is Whaley saw what happened with the Jets. I doubt Rex talks Whaley into Bosa. I like the guy but he is nothing spectacular. Not worth the number two pick. 19 I would run to the podium.

Let's say the Bills did 'lowball' Dareus and got him to sign a below market deal. So what? What do you care? You should be ecstatic, it affords the Bills a greater opportunity to sign more quality players in theory. Tell me on player Whaley has lost due to money? I can't help but ask when would you be happy? If the Bills overpaid for a player or underpaid for a player that made the team better? I don't envision Whaley holding a gun to Dareus' head and saying 'either your signature or your brains are going on that contract'

I am also not a Rex blind loyalist. I am someone who will not give Mario a pass for how he played. The two do not coincide except for Mario to give an excuse why he didn't give max effort. He didn't like what his boss was asking him to do so he did a bad job at it. If any of us do that there are consequences. To stick up for Mario is mind boggling to me, much less given the fact he did it to the team you support! Mario was getting rewarded with huge sums of money, the least he could of done was give it his best effort.

Under the radar big need for Bills: Interior OL

Miller was a third round rookie. The fact he played so much is really promising. He played pretty good showing potential until his injury. He will be fine. -

whatever. Let's see how many more times you stick up for BB and the Pats. -

I guess we have a different view of whining, vs stating a fact. Belichik cutting players this late in FA and so close to the draft is a clear sign of disrespect for the player. Belichik had all this information on Easley awhile ago. If this is just business cut him awhile ago. Let both parties move on. Belichik takes everything personally and thus feels he has to prove points. My point was due to the Pats success Belichik gets away with it. That success is more attributed to Brady than to Belichik. -

Not sure of your agenda. No conspiracy what so ever. Just facts. Brady is an amazing QB. With out him BB looks like BB pre Brady. I also find it funny you stick up for the Pats and BB, who is by far the biggest Baby . Remember the lose to the Bills in Buffalo a few years ago? Or just this year at the coaches meetings? Sorry bud, BB is not what he is with out Brady. -
Should Bills look at Dak Prescott as QB pick?

John, you are one of the more level headed posters and I respect your opinion. Letting A wine ferment will produce a better product if the right grapes are being allowed to age. Otherwise you end up with vinegar. Much like Tebow. -

None, Tebow still would of stunk! As for Prescott, I'm not sure about him. He is worth a fifth rounder to see. -

It's not about being mean, it's about respect. BB has little to no respect for any players not named Brady. If it wasn't for the NFL's rules NE would not be the franchise they are. Just think Miami would have ruled the 80's w Marino if all things were the same. -

I didn't see this mentioned, but the timing of these moves is also a sign of no respective for the players by the Pats. Cutting these guys this late in FA and so close to the draft means they will get less money and also most likely have to sit till post draft. Sure some team may panick between now and then and grab one with extra cap space ala Jags. -
NFL Schedule out Thursday

If the Bills can be 6-5 heading into December I like the chances of ending the playoff draught. -

This hurt the Bills big time last year against the Giants. There was one other game it showed too, can't recall which one right now. -
Sticky of Bills' moves - N'th week of FA

I think we are in the same page. Impact player to me is a starter who belongs starting, like Darby. They don't have to contend for ROY honors, but show why they were drafted in the first two rounds.Solid contributor is a guy who is either a ST standout and hopefully sees the field for 10-15 snaps a game in relief.
