  1. what are the LB coaches for? Scott was a very good player and loves Rex. If Scott can get Ragland to love playing for Rex and have Rex's back like Scott did, that is enough for me.
  2. Time for EJ to move on. He will be picked up someplace and make it another 5 years or so in this league. He won a few games and looked good in some, while looking god awful in others. I like the plan right now. Develop Jones and see what he can be. Let TT go show what he is this year. If Jones looks good in camp and pre season they may let EJ walk. Trying to stash Jones on the practice squad will most likely not work.
  3. Mike Wallace comes to mind. Might be a stretch for the accomplished part. But when Wallace had a abig armed QB throwing the ball to him , he did alright. TT lives to throw the long ball.
  4. a two and three this year and next years two would seem very reasonable. having said that, i am happy with who the Bills have, And there is no way of knowing who the Bills would of been left with if they did make the trade. A draft is like the Butterfly Effect, one pick sets a serious of events in motion.
  5. Good for you man! Seriously...I can tell by some people's posts that they are grown ups, and other times I question it. We all have one thing in common , we love the Bills, and want them to win. We can disagree on everything else In life. But I think we need to remind ourself of that fact before we hit Add Reply sometimes. I admit I can do it to.
  6. Do you still think that after the Jones pick?I know Jones is not at all ready this year.
  7. The Bills have tape and have worked with Miller, Mills, and Henderson. I will trust the coaches that those players are going to improve.
  8. OR the Bills FO and coaches have the belief that players will continue to develope. This belief is important for Miller and Mills. The Front office and coaches also believe that Henderson will return because they have been monitoring his progress with team doctors. I understand right now the left side is proven more what it is than the right side. That was not going to change at all by the draft. A rookie is a rookie. Look at the first round tackle the Rams took a few years back(early and on phone help me with his name). He struggled to get on the field for a year . Telling me that anyone taken In the draft is a sure thing is wishful, much less someone taken after round one. Why do I say this? Because none of them have played a down of meaningful NFL football yet.
  9. I will be the guy who says- ' draft CB's late, maybe turn into a ST, if nothing else'.
  10. Nice work.Another thought crossed me mind- who has drafted QB's well? Dallas, SF, GB, Pitt... For me it would be three QB's that have won a SB(championship) and played at least 5 years. During that time won
  11. I am a big UGA fan and I have been following Mitchell's career since high school. If he is there in the sixth, sure.
  12. Come on, I don't like the Jets at all and I am a blind loyalist for the most part, but neither have he Bills. Besides Jimbo who else?...I am sure there were some guys from the 50's and 60's and maybe Ferguson?
  13. Keep picking a QB until you hit on one.
  14. Sounds like a perfect replacement for Kyle Williams. Front Seven is getting better.
  15. Anyone else catch the awkward handshake between Fujita and the Commish? Ha
  16. I am looking at it as the compensatory pick made this possible. You get a starter who Rex will figure out how to use. Like it in the second round. Him and Shaq and Hughes also will get after the qb
  17. The savings alone for Lawson over Mario should help some people get over Mario's departure. This is a forward thinking move. Drafting what could be a very good player at a cheaper rate should mean the FO has more flexibility with Glenn and Gilmore. Not to mention if TT has a good year.
  18. Good safe need pick. 2 sacks in the national championship game. Like that he showed up for the big game
  19. Smart by Fitz. He has enough money. He simply has said it will take x dollars for me to do y because of z. Fitz also realizes that the kind of money he has made, invested wisely, will change the future for generations of Fitzpatricks.
  20. any chance you think Bama defensive players are seen as Duke basketball players? Combination of the system and how the player fit into it? Thus ultimately costing them draft spots?
  21. Look at what he did at Bama, it basically took him a few years to learn the system there before he could get on the field as a LB. I'm sure he will be fine in the NFL, but expecting him to be day one MLB barking out the calls sounds like a stretch. This to me is a reason why you don't draft him in the first, when you couple it with the coverage question.
  22. But at least they are admitting there is an issue. The way I fix it- Get ex college players who are in good physical shape and have them go through rigorous testing both mentally and physically. You can be an official from ages 30-50. Then pay them well.
