You bring up a good point, who is a journalist anymore? What constitutes one? The line between rumor and truth is so blurry these days. The way information is shared at the rate it is shared, it is hard to tell if someone is editorializing or giving a fact. Thank you for clearing up what Florio is.

That seems like what many of the cap posters here have been saying. I'm wondering if the Bills are just taking their time with Gilmore. I think he gets the deal just before camp starts. The thing I find so refreshing about TT approach is he know he will get paid if he produces this year. Someone will pay him good money if he is as good or better than he was last year.

I totally agree on the longevity piece. We all want TT to be our Drew Brees. The guy who has an awesome career with his second team, and wins the SB. Let's hope TT Max's out his potential and does so for the next decade.

Garcia was very good , the problem was he didn't stay very good for long. Garcia was excellent at extending the play w his legs. Moving around in the pocket. Garcia would take off for the sticks when he had to, but would prefer to use his receivers if available. TT is faster but we all agree him running for 600-700 yds a season is not the best for his health. Go back and check Garcias stats , I watched him play. Garcia was not much to look at and easy to make fun of, but he was a heck of a QB for a few seasons. Vick could beat you with his legs. In his prime there was not one person Vick couldn't not beat out to the edge. The Falcons are my second team. If Vick could of had an Andy Reed OC early on, maybe his career could of been diff. I strongly dislike what Vick did off the field, but it has nothing to do with the fact that I think TT can be a way better QB.

Guys seriously? Mike Vick?! Come on man. I watched a ton of Mick Vick and his biggest asset was his legs. Vick was the fastest guy on the field for 2 maybe 3 seasons. That's what scared D's, not his arm. Vick could not make one single type of throw on a consistent basis. Except throw it 100 mph at someone 5 yds away. IF TT can be Jeff Garcia during his prime then we got something. Garcia had escapeability with a big arm. Garcia didn't maintain his high level for long, let's hope TT does!

The defensive holdings and pass interference rule changes over the last decade has made a huge impact. These penalties have changed the game into what it has become, a QB driven league. Couple them with the fact you can barely touch the QB anymore , and it is easy to see how the league has become pass happy .

Every QB in the NFL can make a great throw. Every darn one. As another poster mentioned it's the consistency factor that makes a QB go from back up to hall of fame.

26 th seems a little low. I would go with 17-20. I put him there due to missing some games and at times during some games he looked god awful. Other times it appeared we had found our answer. On a whole he had an average season. I really care more about where I think TT is ranked after 2016. If I can honestly put him in that 8-12 range then I know we have our answer at QB and can move forward.

The image of Woods throwing mini fits on the field during EJ's rookie season are still in my mind. I think Woods has come to terms with the fact that his career won't kick into high gear till he leaves Buffalo.

Atlanta is a great sports town. People like taking shots at it and for some good reasons. But as more people grow up in this city the better it will get. As the transplants have had children and now they have kids, it's only a matter of time. You can already sense it. Last year when the Hawks went on their incredible run in January, everyone followed them. Every game was sold out. Winning helps to bring fandom to a new level.

This is true to a degree. But if you have some one with Mario's background being a negative force, it can pull people down. Managers also need employees who want to be managed. Mario seemed like a guy who wanted to do what he wants when and and how he wants. That's also common in work places and has to be fixed.

I watched it Christmas Day w my GF. She got to see me cry for the first time. For me i think I finally realized how much the Bills meant to me at that time in my life. My parents divorced and I was living with my dad . The only thing we really had in common was our love for football and the Bills in particular. We would meet up w my Uncle and cousin and watch games wherever they would show them on satellite back then. Those were a lot of great Sunday's during those SB years. It's why sports are amazing. They bring people together who may otherwise not like each other over one common love. I use the word love not like, we all love the Bills. How do I know? Because we keep coming back each year. Like a parent of a problem child, we refuse to give up on them. Sure we all have our different reasons or way of expressing our love, but it is there. The Four Falls was emotional , but a must see. It helped me to connect back to a pretty fun time in my life. I lost my dad Memorial Day 2004. Nothing makes me think of him more than Buffalo. He sent me to two of the SB's. Memories I won't let a loss ruin.

Great article. I had no clue his mom died during the Jax game week. Explains the mental focus issue for sure. Losing a parent at 22 is devastating. The fact that Miller played as well as he did with all he had to deal with as a ROOKIE is incredible. He will be good. Fans need to take a deep breath.
