We are going to so get rolled on Sunday...

Some of you are guilty of the classic reverse psychology. Others are setting the expectations at zero and the final group is just the angry Bills fan. You are the group that stays in a relationship to long because you are scared all the while telling all your friends how it sucks. -
I want the Cubs to win so we can cross them off the 'cursed list'. Red Sox were removed in 04. Cleveland as a City this year with the Cavs winning. How the media never mentions the Bills in the same breath as the Cubs is beyond me.

Man I hope he plays and has himself a day. First step to putting all this in the past. Marcel is a heck of a football player. Let's play ball big fella!!

"Experts" Picks week 8 versus the Pats
atlbillsfan1975 replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just do not see it with how banged up the Bills are. IF the Bills were as healthy as the Pats, i think it is 50/50, with Brady and Gronk. McCoy being dinged up and running like he did last year is going to cost them the game. With out a dynamic McCoy the Bills are not much to talk about on Offense. -

Ding ding ding. When the Bills play the Pats you know it's going to be a bad day for the officiating. Ever since the PI call in the end zone in Foxboro years ago! -
How come Whaley upgraded the WR position last year?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What if Whaley hit a 'home run on defense' because he had input from the Ryan brothers on who to bring in? Whaley got the advice from Roman through Rex that they would be ok with what they had at WR and the type of O they wanted to run? Maybe another reason why Roman got shown the door? Food for thought or I am probably way off base. -
NE, Seattle, Cincy, or Oakland
atlbillsfan1975 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the Bills need to go 2-2 against the next four. If i had my pick the Bills would beat NE due to them being a divisional foe. I then want to see the Bills beat Oakland because i see them being a WC threat more than Cincy. Seattle would be nice sweep of the NFC West, but would do little in tie breaker scenarios . The Bills can beat any team in the NFL, i also believe the Bills can lose to any team in the NFL. -
Bills vs. Dolphins Postgame
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't want Taylor hurt. I am starting to wonder how big the drop off is from Taylor to Manuel. -
Haha. You are on a crusade. Have you sent Whaley an email or letter? I think it would help you feel heard and better.
-
I got to agree with you. Today was the type of game that R.Wilson comes out and wins with a few passes in the fourth quarter. That's the big difference with Taylor. I am worried we may be in the same situation the Dolphins are in w Tannyhill.

It is funny you say that you are warming to letting Gilmore walk. I am actually going just the other way. I had a debate months ago with Bandit about Gilmore and elite status. After watching these first 6 games, I am seeing that Rex's scheme is more plug and play with regards to LB's. It is also very scheme/role reliant. Yes Rex wants great talent everywhere but I bet if you ask him, 'choose between Z Brown and Kyle or Gilmore' Rex goes with Gilmore.
-
Great job! Posters like you are the reason I started coming to the board years ago. What I take from that list of ' players allowed to walk' is we have to hope the coaching is the reason their was a lot of production. I mean how Mills has shown improvement from last year to this. Alexander having the production he is. Kromer and the Ryan bros played a big role in those players improving. I suspect Rex might tell Whaley to let Z Brown walk and make a few other cuts to bring back Gilmore. I think Rex believes and focus' on the front 7 scheme wise. Rex wants elite talent corners. With that in writing and looking at it Bandit, what moves would you make to keep Gilmore?

Does Shaq get his 1st sack.
atlbillsfan1975 replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Joey Bosa says 'what you talking about'? Shaq has the ability and with the other guys around him, i think Shaq will have a shot. Factor in you know Rex is drawing something up to try and give the kid his shot. i think probability is high for a Shaq sack! -
Bills in the 2016 Playoffs?? Yep.
atlbillsfan1975 replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As many of you i read that and got excited, after i stopped trying to understand that first graph, and read the actual article. Then of course i reminded my self of the last couple of seasons the Bills started out hot, only to fall. I then reminded myself of 2004 and the 'we got to beat the Steelers backups' last game. Point is, of course the Bills can fall completely apart. I did notice that when i read over the list of teams, specifically the AFC teams, not one jumped out at me. Of course there are a bunch of teams on there that can beat the Bills. Heck the Bills could lose to Miami this weekend and we all will think the sky is falling. I have a different feeling about the Bills this year. I have this cautious optimism that the team has bought into what Rex is selling. That is about 75% of what it takes to be a winner in the NFL or any sport, heck business. When management and coaches can get their team and staff listening and carrying out the tasks and assignments, things go good usually. Bills have their deficiencies, there is no Tom Brady to rely on to throw the perfect pass after 59 mins of bad play to win the game. No, for the Bills it is going to take every man pulling in the same direction, lifting each other up, or stepping up when one man falls down. This makes me think about the city itself that this team plays for. The city has not had it easy for a long time. While the Bills did have a great QB in Kelly, Kelly had other greats around him. Buffalo has always been a great community that takes pride and rallies around each other. Just like for the Bills it will take a great team to win. I think Whaley has done a pretty darn good job working with Rex to build that team. Now as a fan i will enjoy the ride. Relish in the wins, curse the loss'. I will watch up until the end. I think the Bills could finally be on the verge of something big. -
I Don't Feel Like Playing Today

There is not much difference in raw talent in the NFL from the best to the worse. Look at alexander this year for the Bills. It is getting the right guy to fit the right system and be motivated to execute his assignments. As for the injury thing. I think some of you guys are trying to give Philly fans a run for their money on being intolerant. Marcel is a little out there. I think he will come in and show up when we need him. -

Walt Coleman is the worse! -
This is great news. I want to see the big fella stay healthy and work himself into the rotation. The other positive is that Lawson should not experience the rookie drop in play late in the season from the extra games. How many other teams get to add a first round pick after week 6 to an already solid unit?
