  1. Come to Atl!Seriously though, ice is next to impossible to get around on. This game should mean better ratings. Hopefully next year the NFL has learned its lesson and will put the weeks best matchups in the primetime spots. Thursday night, Sunday Night and Monday night.
  2. Let's give the new coach and his staff some time to work with the players. I can also tell you that this generation 'millennial' is different. McD will have to connect w them. He can be tough, he just has to be fair. Stay consistent with his message. A lot of these attitude problems became big issues under Rex. Rex had very little accountability standards it appeared. I hope McD doesn't get caught up w the attitudes. He instead finds guys who can play and buy in to his message. That will make the Bills relevant again.
  3. Go with the over because NE will hang 42 on Houston.
  4. ZBS? Good catch. The so called experts gave Atl some grief over the Neal pick. I think you do see the fruits of the coach and FO all on the same page. Oh and last Vic Beasley was atrocious. Leads the league in sacks this year. Food for thought for some posters. Sometimes it takes a season or two for a player to come around.
  5. OC has already been picked. Once KC loses we will find out who it is.
  6. One of the biggest differences this year vs last year is O line play. Alex Mack solidified the middle. Also the line started every game together.
  7. Beat me to it! Falcons win by 10+. New England wins by at least 14. Steelers win. Dallas wins.
  8. Alexander should not be counted on as a starter. Last year was great but good teams move on. If Alexander wants to come back as a ST player and a backup fine. Ragland will be fine. I liked the way Z. Brown played up until the snow games. LB is the easiest position to find guys. Not worried about it to much.
  9. Interesting, the Bills never wanted McCoy maybe? It was almost like McD and the Bills tried to say we don't want McCoy here. why else hire the OL coach before you officially hire the OC?
  10. Sounds like to classy people who are straight shooters. We know TT is that, and from all accounts it appears McD is too. To me this is more about how McD is the right guy for the job. McD is a no non sense no hyperbole guy. The anti Rex. Now win a SB !
  11. Elway seems to have unlimited funds.
  12. I will see our blanket statement and raise you! Of course they can. If someone's contract is up they can go anywhere and someone could have a buy out clause. So they can right? That's what I thought. Bye bye
  13. Smart move to bring in a mature presence, I will give him that. Let's see what Wade is getting paid before we throw all kudos at McVay for hiring him. You hit the nail on the head with commanding respect. Is there an age where you say 'that is to young to be a HC in the NFL'?
  14. After the season they can.
  15. I don't buy the ' you can't build a good staff in February' line. Wait till then. Hire your person and then have them bring their staff from their side of the ball. The one place there is no cap is FO and coaching staff. And if the candidate you are wanting to hire can't guarantee he can bring a staff/put one together, you don't want them. Which may be what is happening to a few of these Cords still in it.
  16. He is 30. Went to Marist here in Atl, I know it well. Miami Ohio QB. 30 is young. Too young for my comfort level. But not my money or my team. God bless them!
  17. Does anyone really think a 30 year old HC is going to succeed??? Wade will help stabilize things with his calm demeanor and experience . But this hire for HC seems so LA. Sizzle with little substance
  18. Marrone comes across as such an Ahole. He acts like Parcells but with zero accomplishments.
  19. Last time they were in the playoffs they made it to the NFC Championship game. They were in the Super Bowl in 1998. We like the Bills. Be quiet
  20. Didn't the Ravens do this a few years ago? Replace the OC mid season? Maybe even the Super Bowl team?
  21. speaking of blurred lines- In Atlanta there has been a calling for Dimitroff's head for years. All along Arthur Blank kept adding more people to the Front Office while firing a HC. The Falcons told fans and media that Quinn was going to work with Dimitroff in final say of roster, but ultimately Quinn picked his final roster. The media has made a very big deal of the Whaley press conference this year. Blank got a relative pass for his very strange press conference after the Mike Smith firing. Last year there was not really an end of the year presser when the Falcons imploded down the second half of the season and missed the playoffs. My Point is this- What happens inside the building with those relationships is much more important than how we or the media see's it. Also now that the Falcons are winning everything is ok. Same pieces are here, just were given a year to grow together. Ryan looks like the MVP and Shannahan looks like the greatest OC. Let's hope McDermott is interviewing the Bills just as much as they are interviewing him. This coupled with him being offered and accepting the job will go a long way to getting the Bills back into the playoffs.
  22. I have always like having an ex HC on the staff of a new HC. Preferably on the opposite side of the ball. We saw how well the team and D did when Schwartz worked w Marrone. An ex HC gets what a HC has to deal with, If the two develop or have a good relationship it will pay dividends on the field. In a win now league, the HC needs to asses what the talent is on his roster and find a cord he feels can work with a win with that talent. The Bills have a very powerful run attack on O with a very good line.
  23. That stinks. Bills fans know all to well what an owner over stepping his area of expertise can lead to.
  24. This is a head scratcher by Caldwell. Dave, I hope you know what you are doing.
