  1. Why wouldn't they? Besides a select few QB's in this league every player is tradeable under the right circumstance. If the Bills could get another first or 2 seconds and a third , I would do it .
  2. Emmotional and under control. Has the respect of his players because he can make the right judgement call while also being passionate. That's a coach I'd want to play for.
  3. i wonder what percentage of those catches will come within 3-5 yes of the LOS.
  4. Talent wise there was not a huge loss. Gilmore is good, but frustrating. Let's see what the rookies bring and the maturation of the second year guys. Biggest improvement to me looks like the Bills are running the team like the majority of the has everyone new and on the same page. The way the Bills had been doing things was annoying. How can you expect continuity when you have key people from all different era's in place?
  5. Exactly. Maybe guys got to a position where they 'failed' and thus went to a position where they have had success.
  6. Good for Fitz. I like him and he is a good player to have on your team. The frustration with Fitz was when he would let his emotions get the better of him. These were the times Fitz would decide to make a throw that physical he should not attempt. When under control Fitz is a mid level starter.
  7. Defense to me is about each defender knowing their role during a called set. Defenders by nature like to think less but attack and react more. Moving defenders all over the place is very complicated to learn and takes away from the ability to attack and react to some degree. The less a defenders worries about his pre snap positioning the easier it should be to get off the ball. I don't think the quote means the Bills will be running base defenses. I do think it means the D will be a bit more streamlined. Less pre snap movement is ok. It is about mixing it up at the right time . That's what makes a D good for me. When to blitz and when to stay back. Knowing the opposition and having the right D ready for the game.
  8. This seems a little like what the Falcons have done with their front office of late. Brought in guys who maybe held a higher position at one time to fill a specialty fit area.
  9. I want to believe this. I have seen little evidence that supports it.
  10. Jeff Van Note comes to mind for the Falcons. Jeff isn't in the HOF but deserves to be. He played center on some terrible Falcon teams for 18 years. He only missed four games and has 6 pro bowl appearances.
  11. Things were pretty bad around here for the first week. Atlanta does not have the multi generational fan base like the Bills, so it didn't last as long.
  12. I thought the Falcons were not going to be very good last year. IF anyone can get his team back and ready to play it is Quinn. By all accounts they lost basically nothing from last year and added some very good pieces in the off season, Poe being one. Falcons will also be getting their best corner back from injury. Atlanta is a lot like Buffalo, when you think they will be good they usually are not. From that perspective i agree anything is possible. Barring a Matt Ryan or Julio Jones ( to lesser extent) injury, Falcons should be a 10 win team and compete for the SB. Atl vs Buffalo would be awesome. I think Atl vs NE is very possible.
  13. How is Atl in trouble? If anything they got better. Are you saying other teams are better?
  14. Wow, we can turn on each other with the best of them.
  15. I wonder if anyone in the Buffalo media will get a chance to ask Allen his thoughts on that move from a talent perspective.
  16. Just when i am ready to write off the board until late July, you post something like this, and pull me back in! I agree Shaq and Ragland could be good fits. I like your thoughts on Darby. He seemed to excel his rookie year in tight quarters. If Darby 'struggles' at all it is on deep routes where he seems to get lost. Darby likes to be tethered to his man.
  17. Long way and lots of games to play between now and next draft. The last 'sure fire' qb was who? Andrew Luck? That was 5 years ago.
  18. I swear I watched Lawson display a good bit of hustle last year once healthy. I am really excited to see Lawson out there. Players who can play will find a spot, that's where a good coach comes in.
  19. There is a way for both sides to get what they want. Deferment for the athletes and a value position for the Goldman Sach's person.
  20. To the man who made those fall Sunday's in the late 80's and into the 90's special. I am sad to hear the news of your wife's passing. As other Bills fans have stated, you have always flown your Bills flag high and proud! When one of ours hurts l, we all hurt! May you find comfort in the 33 years you had together and the knowledge you will see each other again!
  21. Hey Remeber this time last year when people were saying Trubisky and Mahomes would be top 10 picks?
  22. Great! He did a heck of a job for his first time!! Just think how much better it will be when we have a GM and a coach working together!
  23. Right?! That is like saying every board is exactly the same. People's boards are so completely different. I do not like how the Bills handled it, but having another GM pick players based off a previous GM's assessment sounds really problematic.
  24. Last off season everyone in Atl wanted Dimitrofs fired. This year it is all about how Quinn and Dimitrof Work so well together. I hope we can find that tandem that can work like that together . That's what it takes. A coach that can explain the type of players he needs and a GM who can find them. Then let the coach coach.
