Shaq Attack - Sharks Never Sleep
atlbillsfan1975 replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was pick 19 of the first round. Lawson then had shoulder surgery and came back at week 8, I believe. Lawson gave effort and I do look for a big jump in production. The jump will probably be a product to some degree of having a complete off season to get healthy and a complete preseason to work. look up Vic Beasley's year one to year two stats, it will astonish how good a player can get. -
What games will you be attending this year?

Atlanta and Saints game. FWIW the Atlanta tickets are going to be steep. I'm hearing $500 for club level. -
Shaq Attack - Sharks Never Sleep
atlbillsfan1975 replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I watched Shaq hustle last year on a lot of plays. What I watched was a guy wanting to show he belongs. Shaq will show us all why he was a first round pick this year. -
i tried to say McCoy because of lack of proven depth and how much this teams runs the ball. But this is a QB league even when you run it a ton. And the Bills have no real solid back up QB either. Taylor and then McCoy. As for Watkins, I don't think he is here after next year, so the Bills might want to try to get by with out him.

RB. The drop off in talent mixed w how run centric the offense was last year added in the fact that McCoy gets injured at times.

Stop with "Schedule is Hard"--Analytics says it BS
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It happens each season. Mediocre teams everyone expects will be better, aren't. Good teams from the previous year turn out to be one year wonders. And then there are injuries that decimate a team. The thing I use to root for back in the 90's was for a team to win before they played the Bills. I like playing a team after a win more than after a loss. Unless it is the browns from the past 3 years. -
PFF: The Unstoppable Run Schemes of the Buffalo Bills
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Big C's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This could be a little misleading. Like how many turnovers did the offense have. It is a team sport. The Bills better have some new run schemes and have an answer for when McCoy goes down for a stretch. I remember last off season we were all sure the D was going to be awesome and the offense was our concern. Now we are banking on the run game being great. I sure hope so, because if not i do not have confidence in Taylor or the D ending the playoff drought. -
How clueless is Gil Brant?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to billsbackto81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thomas was the big head scratchier for me. Lewis to me was such a force on the field. I feel like how good of a player Lewis was will always be diminished to some degree because of that night in Atl. -

Ray Lewis not in the top 5 isn't good. Derrick Thomas was good, but he didn't help his team win a SB. What Lewis did in Baltimore with Ed Reed in 2000 was amazing. Nothing against Gil. The man knows his stuff and those lists have got to be hard to make. Ray Lewis is the best MLB to play in the last 25 years. -
Anyone who fights through their personal pain to get up and keep trying is some one to commend. One person does not have to take anything away from the other person.

Dumb Carucci column...assessing QB position
atlbillsfan1975 replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Saying the Bills are worse at QB then last year is weird. The Bills have the same starter in Taylor. The problem with this team for the past 25 years has been having both sides of the ball be good. You have to have one side of the ball be elite and the other side can be mediocre to compete and make the playoffs. OR you have to have both sides of above average and also the ST's be good. Taylor and the offense did enough last year to make the playoff's if the defense had played as well as it did in 2015. -
Exactly right. Takes guts to do what he did. I hope some of you on here calling him an idiot never have to face something so scary it causes you to question going on.

QB Metrics and Advanced Analytics--Good info
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Average means you take the highs and lows and add them togethether and then divide by those amounts. If the highs occur in the playoffs and result in a SB win, who cares about 'AV'? This system, while overall does a decent job of ranking QB's, must also have an asterisk with SB winner. show the 'AV' of the quarterback during that SB season and playoffs. I think this is nice but I also think this is what's degrading sports to some extent. Watch and enjoy. Sports are suppose to be entertainment. Now some treat it like a job. It's a nice hobby to do all this and not get paid . -
Training Camp Battle at RG?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We have no idea what's going on. Miller could of shown up a little heavy and this is coaches trying to light a fire under him. Also this staff has little to no ties to a third rounder from a couple years back -

To me it is negligent of the documentary makers if they do not tell the entire story of how the Bills Mafia got started. The film makers could also point out who Dell is and what he wants the Bills Mafia to stand for. However, that won't get anywhere near the attention showing some people doing crazy stunts screaming 'billsmafia' . -
