Everyone Talks Trade Up For QB, But What If....
atlbillsfan1975 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love Roquan , I am a UGA fan. I wouldn’t be surprised if this happened in the least. Roquan should be that Kuechly that helps make the Bills D click. What would it cost the Bills to move up 10 spots to 10 in the draft? -
I don’t think name calling is necessary. I also happen to think Tyrod isn’t the answer to the quarter back position for the Buffalo Bills. I also believe by basically every measurable possible Alex Smith has achieved more success in the NFL and has better numbers. I bet I would like Tyrod better than Alex Smith, but I think Alex Smith is a better quarterback. I think the Bills need to find a long term solution in a drafted quarterback. I think the Bills would be wise to investigate how all vets possibly available handled themselves while in a position of having a rookie study under them.

Does anyone else stop reading a post when it says ‘I would rather watch Tyrod than...’? Andy got Smith for a 2 round pick and a conditional pick. I didn’t find what that pick turned out to be. With 5 more years of wear and tear I think a 3 rd and conditional pick is suitable. Smith is well worth a 3 rd if it means no more Tyrod and we are drafting a long term solution.

So sad for this to happen. Prayers go out to the family, they will never be the same. -
Your favorite college team: Draft/Don’t draft

Nice comparison. Michel doesn’t possess the same change of direction skills as McCoy does, the stop to full speed quickness. Michel has amazing hands and runs between the tackles quickly and then finding an angle to gain the most yards. Kamara reminds me of McCoy more. Kamara is an amazing quick back that has that shifty quality. Michel is just under 6 foot and weighs around 220. If Michel had a good combine, I could see teams easily want to take him in the first. Teams will be looking at the fact he shared the backfield with Gurley and then Chubb. -

Michel is the real deal. I think he could have the best pro career of any running back coming out. He will be a dual threat that can catch and run. -

UGA Yes- Roquan Smith- Mc Dermott gets his MLB to make his Defense run like he needs it too. Trenton Thompson would be a nice interior lineman late in the draft 3-5 rd. No- Nick Chubb- I don’t think his game will translate great into the NFL. Alabama showed his deficiencies. While Chubb could take the place of Tolbert I don’t think he is worth a pick. -
Opposing QB's vs. Patriots (Playoffs)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to BuffaloButt's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They may win it but I doubt it will be easy. I wanted Brees to go up against Brady 2 of the best left. All of the teams left play great D and run the ball pretty good. Minn vs the Pats would be a good one I think. Don’t count Jax out. The Pats are due for a loss to an inferior opponent in the playoffs. I just don’t see Philly being able to get by that Minn D. -
Just fine. It wasn’t meant as anything more than an observation.

Look no further than Ted Ginn JR to see what a good QB and good system can do for a WR. -
Saban can’t keep OC’s. 3rd one in 3 years.

This needed to be done. I think we all could tell that there was times they weren’t on the same page.

Does anyone think Beane will try to use this rating in negotiations for a trade?! Ha -
Lorax says more DE for him next year
atlbillsfan1975 replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He made a couple of nice plays in the Jax game, the play where he pulled the running back backwards was awesome. So much for fatigue for the old guys. I think DE best suits his skill set. High character guy who McDermott needs if Kyle hangs it up. -
44 games with Tyrod at QB - % breakdown
atlbillsfan1975 replied to twoandfourteen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This just in, Tyrod isn’t good. Tyrod is ankle weights for the Bills offense and team. Good luck buddy. You made a ton of money and are a very capable backup . -

Well I will trust Dion Dawkins who seems like an educated man who to date has no history of making comments with no proof. -
So if the Jags and Titans win next weekend....

Not something we will have to watch. Marrones team is terrible and so is Mularkey’s. The Bills are worse. -
I hope someone from the media asks McDermott why...
atlbillsfan1975 replied to KDS73's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow, you guys a taking it hard. The D played great. The scheme at times could of been better. Thats what this thread it about. Save the Taylor and Dennison opinions for those thread. i have noted your point of view in regards to the question being asked of the HC of why he waited till late in the 4th quarter to change his scheme to match what Jax was doing. -
Thank god the Taylor era is over! He isn’t horrible but he can’t win it all, that’s why you play the game.

atlbillsfan1975 replied to KDS73's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It really isn’t stupid. Sorry. McDermott failed to change the d to stop Bortles from running. Bortles was trying to throw picks and Fournette wasn’t running great. It it wasn’t the only reason the Bills lost, but it’s worth a question at the presser.
