I can see an August trade being the best return for Glenn. A team is more willing to give up a higher pick in August after an injury and a draft that is 8 months away. Bills need to show Glenn is healthy in preseason. i don’t see Lawason bringing much in picks and i don’t think cutting him saves much. Lawson isn’t great but could be very valuable rotational depth.

Beane Made a decisive move In regards to Tyrod. Beane was able to get the 65th pick and the move frees up a ton of cap space. This was an amazing deal. Beane turned a quarter who didn’t improve from start one to his last start into a valuable draft pick. Beane May be able to parlay this extra pick into a REAL franchise quarterback. On a side note, you really do need to stop quoting people’s posts and making a snarky remark. Why don’t you try and contribute something relevant.

Is it Christmas?! Wow!! Beane might of pulled off the best deal ever in Bills history. Not to think about how much more this adds to the cap. I think it is $11.5?!

Giants not likely to move away from Eli

I would trade him Glenn and keep the first rounder either this year or next. -
You're the GM, what do you offer Kyle Williams
atlbillsfan1975 replied to elltrain22's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whatever he wants...If he wants to go to another team that might be a 'contender' grant him his release. If he wants to retire a Bill, find a fair salary and give some financial consideration to what he means to the locker room. -

Got to build from the center out on each level on both sides of the ball. Having said that, I think Gettleman knows exactly what he is doing. If the Bills want the Giants pick it will probably take 3 first rounders and another second rounder. -
Sal Capaccio: Bills' Combine Preview
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well he had 165 touches last year and had 2 fumbles and 1 of those was a turnover. I agree at times he tries to extend the ball and loses it. I am a complete homer but feel like Michel could be the best RB in this class. -

Sony can catch and has similar speed as Shady. Sony doesn’t posses the same stop to high end speed as quickly that Shady does. Sony almost always is heading toward the line of scrimmage, he takes great angles. Rarely will Sony get tackled for a big loss. -

I just don’t see Michel lasting past pick 45 or so. Look for Michel to have a great combine and get picked in the late first early second. IF Michel didn’t play with Nick Chubb he probably would of won the Heisman. -
Ok, I found where you and I can agree to disagree. Tyrod doesn’t make the most sense to me. I know what Tyrod is and honestly I don’t want to watch it anymore. I understand that Bradford, Bridgewater, Keenum, or whichever other Vet comes in will probably have similar results in the win loss category as Tyrod. My selfish desire is not to watch Tyrod play. It also doesn’t make sense from a continuity stand point to bring Tyrod back because there is a new OC and offensive coaches. If the Bills bring Tyrod back after drafting a QB in round one, I won’t be totally disappointed. My disappointment will be squashed by the hope that we might of finally found our QB for the next 10-15 years through the draft. I have given every QB the Bills have trotted out since Kelly a chance. I have wanted them all to be the guy. I have given everyone 2 seasons to show me what they are. To show progression. Tyrod is the same quarterback today as he was when he won the starting job to begin with. It’s time to move on or at least get the moving forward plan in place for 2019.

Ok, fair point. Why would you want Tyrod around a high draft pick? Do you want Tyrod to stay QB for another year?

The only thing Taylor can mentor a young QB on is how to be a professional football player. Taylor has been a fairly good teammate. Taylor has up to this point been for wise when it comes to the business side of the NFL and how to conduct yourself. I am not totally sure what if anything Taylor can teach a QB about playing QB.

Buffalo Bills a Prime FA destination?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was back in Buffalo for the first time in about 7 years for the Saints game. Buffalo has things moving in the right direction. The weather doesn’t matter as much as people think. I’d rather build through the draft and then add a few ‘right fit FA’s’ that aren’t necessarily big name guys. -
Caldwell is the GM who drafted Bortles and he is still the GM. To me this deal says, Bortles proved he can win and I also need to try and find a young QB to develop. Look for the Jax to spend high picks on D and WR and then in a later round 3-5 look for a second tier QB. If Jax takes a step back this season and they don’t like or have young QB on the roster , they will draft one high in 2019 and use Bortles for one season as insurance. Word is that Bortles is a great guy and very positive in the face of a lot criticism. I bet he would deal with a mentoring role of being a pro to a rookie just fine.

Would You Give JF a Flyer at QB ??
atlbillsfan1975 replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No. I mean come on man. Start a thread about how nice the weather was today for a February day. Johnny Football deserves what he is getting. When you leave the office do you say ‘ hey let me try going North on the freeway even though I know south takes me home’? -

I hope Beane is good at finding QB’s. I’m ready for the Bills to find one. I think 3-5 is where some of these ‘second tier’ qb’s fall. Guys who need to prove they can be coached up on certain technical deficiencies. -
Ex-Bills LB Eddins was executed by drug dealers
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Leave it to the Bills board to make drug dealers being murdered into an issue of morality. Its like now we can't talk politics, abortion, religion. or drug trafficking...'or is Tyrod really the problem?'.
