Also take into account he went from beautiful Miami to Cleveland. I went to Cleveland for the first time in June and it is actually a nice downtown. It is not however Miami. As a professional athlete I would think Miami would be a ton more fun.

Guys I have been the biggest Allen fanboy since an hour after he was picked and I started looking into him. I spent the next few days after the draft watching every college tape and interviews from coaches, teammates, family, and friends. His story caught my attention and I wanted to hear more on how this guy ended up on our team. I hope all of you guys are buckled in for the ride. Allen is going to look like a rookie. It may even happen this next game. I do agree with Alexander’s statement about if coach picks Allen. I also like hearing the defensive guys praising Allen.

He is going to make rookie mistakes and look bad at times. Allen is the real deal. He will only get better with more exposure. Allen is a confident guy who believes in himself. A bad game isn’t going to send him into a state of depression. Let him learn on the field.

Shaw I think you are one of the level headed posters on here. I think you might be overstating things a bit at this point. Allen is less than 3 week’s into his first camp. No pressure at this time. I also just don’t get the impression that Allen is ever going to doubt himself.

He needs to have a good game and then I think he goes to the practice squad. He needs time to see if he can develop all skills needed to make it.

It sounds like Mr Ramsey hasn’t watched anything for himself but is paraphrasing draft analysts about Allen. I hope Mr Ramsey is singing a different tune once he plays against Allen.

Agree 100%. We do seem to have people on here who didn’t like the pick and voiced their displeasure. Now these same people feel the need to root against Zay it appears, so it makes them look right. Very unhealthy thought process. I want every Bill to be successful because it will mean the team I love to cheer is successful. It’s that simple.

The Bills can draft a guy like Preston any year. This year they decided to go after elite talent. Wait for it.

I am not sure how to say this but when I watch Nick it’s like he is from the 50’s. From his wardrobe to his speed. Nick makes some nice catches but he just has very little speed and moves to escape defenders. Nick’s size hamper him in blocking. I’ve liked having him on the team but if someone is better they need to stay.

Yep. It’s all over the place. I really do trust whatever Coach and Beane think is best. Heck McCarron I think could be a very capable starter. McCarron has proven he can be a guy that could get the Bills back to the playoffs. I hated the pick of Allen right as it was called. Then I watched every game of his. I read his story. Watched interviews with him, his family and coaches at High School and both colleges. IF Allen struggled and looked out of place, I would sit him. I think McDermott was thinking this was. You never really know till you see it against NFL players. Coach has a few more preseason games to get a good feel for Allen’s mental make up.

The only way Allen will improve is playing. Sitting a mentally strong person is foolish. Allen isn’t goin to give up on himself ever. Allen knows he belongs in the League. Exposure is what will make Allen the best QB to ever play in Buffalo.

Please watch Farve, Roethlisberger, Rodgers and so on. They all are ‘inaccurate ‘. But they all trust their arms and make throws when needed. Allen is capable of being the same type of guy as those three.

Jax will be solid. Marrone will play a style of ball that will keep them in most games. I think we witnessed the best Blake Bortles can be last year. Houston was on their way till Watson went down. I am going with Houston. O’Brien deserves and is due for a season of good fortune.
