[Vague Title] Richie, Richie, Richie SMH
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Watkins90's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Until Richie has completed a program I wouldn’t put too much Into anything he says. He needs help not ridicule. Richie and Eric retired and Cordy wanted out. -
Agree to disagree. While what you say can be another consequence of the choice I do not believe it is ‘all about lowering fans expectations’. McDermott doesn’t strike me as that type of coach at all. McDermott and Beane have displayed that their motive is to do what’s best for the team now and in the future.

I am all for Peterman looking good. I support him and coaches decision. I don’t agree with it but I also am no where near as close to the situation as the coaches are. Let’s see what happens. The message to the team is, Peterman gives us the best chance to win now we think. Pretty smart and gives more options to the coaches for a later entrance for Allen.

I have to agree with this. I will never forgot when fans chanted Joe Jurevicius’ sons name when he came back to play after leaving in FA. Jurevicius’ son had passed away in the offseason. Disgusting. As soon as the Pats start losing the stadium will go back to looking like Miami’s . It’s what makes the Bills so great. We love our team not for what they accomplish but because it is who we are.

Here’s to an entertaining season. Greatest time of year! Let’s go Buffalo!!
-
He will land someplace. I think he will have a few more years of being a backup before falling out. Matt Cassel is still playing. If a guy shows he can win a regular season game as EJ has, he gets a shot for a long time. Also when taking into consideration he is never going to have off the field issues.

The compensation and the contract would be tough to swallow. A ton of eggs in one basket. Mack needs to average double digit sacks over the next 4 years for that to make some sense. That’s not easily done.

"Big Name" cuts around the league...

Remember when people wanted to draft Floyd in the first round?! Oh wait I think that’s the year we drafted EJ. -
49ers and Colts make playoffs.

As Gordon Gekko said, 'The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good.Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind.' Maybe Mychal was watching Wall Street and thought he could get away with it.

NFL.com AFC East Preview

This is the beginning of the end for the Pats. Brady will be like a 30 year old running back with too many miles. When he hits the wall it will be a fast decline. -

I wish Rosen the best. I also am glad he isn’t the Bills quarterback. -

Who on this roster is good at this? Peterman? McCarron? Face it Allen is as good a QB as those guys today. -
Why the hell didn't we address the OLINE?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This line is not very good at pass blocking right now. When the Bills offense gets in 3rd and long situations Daboll is going to have to be very creative. If the offense can keep the defense guessing then they will be ok for this season. Not good. Address the center position first and then the other guard position in the off season. If they can find a right tackle in FA so be it. Today had some to do with the Bills wanting to get Allen reps throwing against a first team D. Cincy is a good D too. Allen held up well. -
NEW NARRATIVE ON TYROD
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Wagon Circler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good lord these types of threads will always exist. Tyrod is what he is guys. There is no more ‘potential’. Tyrod is never going to be a guy who can put a team on his back and win a game. Tyrod can manage a game and keep a team in the hunt. Tyrod will never win a Super Bowl. That’s why you play the game. -
Did he? How many of those 9 wins did Tyrod win verses not lose?
-
Tyrod looks exactly the same. Browns fans are going to be let down.

The chemistry on this team is awesome. Vets working with rookies is great. Total culture change under McDermott
