  1. I absolutely have not. This team is terrible.
  2. I stand by my original statement , this might be the worse Bills team I have seen. I have been a fan for 34 years.
  3. I don’t think I have seen the Bills look this bad ever.
  4. Was EJ Gaines the real glue of the secondary?
  5. Welp, looks like everyone was right. We are the worse team in football.
  6. Have fun and be safe! Go Bills!
  7. Johnson is a good kid. Very happy for him. Cards got a steal in the draft. This goes to show why you don’t trade or over pay for a FA running back. This is a fair deal for a duel threat that causes miss matches for defenses. Quality RB’s can be found in all rounds of the draft.
  8. Savvy. Minnie made a ton of sense for Cousins over NYJ. Just a better situation now and a better coach. Zimmer seems like he is the Bruce Arians’ type of coach. Players love playing for him because he is honest , tough, but fare. Bowles is decent but uninspiring.
  9. Maybe because Belichick seems to prefer white guys at receiver and TE?
  10. The running back I’d like to see the Bills go after is Coleman from Atlanta. Coleman is playing out his rookie contract and the Falcons have already signed Freeman to big extension. They will not be able to keep Coleman. Coleman is a physical runner but has great receiving ability. For me he’d be a nice signing. Beane and McDermott have a lot of first hand experience from their Carolina days. I could see this happening way more than a trade for Bell. Look for a team with a closing window to make that move, ala Seattle.
  11. Not so. In general the gap of talent is very slim. There are roughly 250 offensive lineman in the league. Think about that for a second. Millions of men are big enough, strong enough, etc...but only 250 are NFL caliber. There just isn’t that big of a discrepancy in talent. I have had this conversation with General Managers, players, and coaches. They have all said the exact same thing.
  12. There really isn’t that much difference in talent from one roster to the next. It is having the right guys that fit scheme and buy in. I think Beane and McDermott are working on that very well. They will be labeled overachievers till they do it consistently.
  13. Why is this being discussed? Tyrods greatest asset is his class. I am going to believe he was asked and answered a question and is not just throwing aspersions at his old employer.
  14. Can you predict good things that will happen to the Bills?
  15. Sloppy game. Not sure when Quinn is going to realize Coleman is the better back against Philly. Freeman is a huge liability in pass blocking. Falcons D is going to be legit top 5 this year. Darby looks good overall. Julio made him look bad on one play, but it’s Julio.
  16. It’s not really a goal. However it’s a process. Taylor was a free agent. Traded him for a 3rd round pick. Peterman is a 5th round pick. Maybe they can get a 2nd or 1st. Joking. I do think there is a strategy. McDermott and Beane definitely have a plan.
  17. Taylor’s stock was the highest it was every going to be. Maybe Peterman could fetch something similar with a similar year to what Taylor had. I don’t think anyone believes Peterman is the franchise quarterback. He may be a serviceable manager that if surrounded by a solid team can win some games. An elite backup.
  18. i can make an argument for starting Peterman or Allen. My posts have been about how i think Allen needs to start to get better. I might understand why coach is staring Peterman. First, if Peterman looks good, great! Bills have a great asset they can trade or keep for another year to make sure Allen is the real deal. Eventually they can turn Peterman into picks or keep him as the franchise QB. Second, if Peterman looks bad, then Allen can come in eventually and get reps to learn once coach thinks it is time. Maybe second half of season after bye. Honestly, i do not like delaying Allen's start, but i can understand it from a franchise move. Peterman could turn into something or could be the 5 pick guy. Peterman gets his shot. Trust the process.
  19. Look, i hear what you are saying about the deep ball. Peterman can throw the ball deep. Is he going to throw it 70 yards? No. Can he throw it 30 to 40 yards accurately over the top if defenders cheat up on the short routes? Yes. Anyone in the NFL can throw the ball 40+ yards with enough accuracy and velocity to keep a team honest. It will be Peterman's ability to do so consistently that will determine the effectiveness. This goes for any one of the routes. Keeping the defense off balance is a great key to success. I hope Peterman can make the throws he needs to when he needs to make them.
  20. An a for the Bills. No question asked. I feel they have learned from their past in regards to Whaley and Rex. They have two good young football people in place in Beane and McDermott. Given time i think Beane and McDermott will produce great results. We could be looking at 10 years of playoff football very soon with a SB appearance and possible win. Wake me up when the Sabres are relevant. I am a total bandwagon fan. Between the Bills, Braves, (Atl) Hawks and UGA i do not have a ton of time for the Sabres. If the Sabres win i am happy for my hometown getting good publicity.
  21. The little things like the coach telling the players to thank the chef after the contest to how the players quit down when McDermott walks in. Not sure any of it will translate to wins but a very likable bunch of guys.
  22. I use the term. It’s a guy that always shows up and does his job. Now he isn’t flashy and won’t ever ‘wow’ you, but he does what me needs to. Personally I think that may be generous for Peterman.
  23. I don’t see a win. The fan in me says 24-20 Bills. The objective person says 24-16 Ravens.
