Strange way to go about it, then again it is the Browns. -
Josh Gordon to be released-now traded to PATS

In really not sure what’s going to make him wake up. He obviously wants to play football on some level. He just can’t stop sabotaging himself. Really sad. Interesting to see who will take a chance on him now. -
Reasons to sign Tebow

I try hard not to be mean on here. But sometimes I just have to say an idea is dumb. -
Reasons to sign Tebow

I feel like a parent that comes home and their teenage son has thrown a party. This is just stupid. Seriously. Teebow? How about Skelton? Who do we have to trade for him? -
McBeane gave Peterman his shot....
atlbillsfan1975 replied to realtruelove's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If true he doesn’t have anything to be ashamed of. He got a shot to play on the biggest stage. While the outcome has been less than stellar, it’s quite the accomplishment. More than millions of us can ever say. -
McBeane gave Peterman his shot....

Totally agree that his career is still very early. Selfishly I hope he doesn’t get another shot as a starter for the Bills. I’d rather see this Sunday by the first of a long Allen Era. -
Greatest Show on Turf Comeback question

Good point Bill. This is a way to help combat the smaller faster defensive front 7’s we are seeint. -
Predict Josh Allen's stats vs LA.
atlbillsfan1975 replied to downunderbill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tyrod has been in the league for 6 years and a starter for two. He never progressed. If Allen begins his career at Tyrods ceiling and improves we are better off. Stats- 17-35 175 yds 2 TD -
McBeane gave Peterman his shot....
atlbillsfan1975 replied to realtruelove's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His play didn’t translate into the NFL. -
I want to believe this was the plan all along. That Beane, Mcdermott, and Daboll all knew that Allen would start due to it being a necessity. Reason i kind of think this might be the case is Tyrod being traded, AJ being traded, and only having Peterman as the 'vet'. Basically the staff and Beane made this happen. If Tyrod was still here he would be Tyrod. Do just enough to keep you around in a game but never take a game over and win it. AJ would of had games like Tyrod did. Show he can be a competent back up and even win some games, albeit not by his doing going for 300+ yards and 3 touchdowns. More like a serviceable starter . With Peterman looking as terrible as he did there is no way the Bills start him unless they have no choice. Like i said i want to believe this. Otherwise it means Beane, McDermott, and Daboll got fooled by Peterman in preseason. Give me your opinion. I am honestly looking for the other side of it.

Who Starts At QB For Week 2? (Poll)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Paulus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hear this argument and wonder what about Peterman makes you think he will not suffer the same fate and then Allen would need to play. The getting hurt argument does not hold water. At this point i can not think of a reason to start Peterman. -
The more exposure Allen gets the sooner he will be a great QB. Allen believes in himself 100%, match that with talent and he has a shot at being special. The thing he will get better at is consistency, and consistency comes with repetition. As we witnessed you can not simulate game action anymore except in a live regular season game. Remember Peterman looked good in preseason.

I hear ya. There were times yesterday that Allen got the ball to Benjamin. There were other times that Peterman had some time and Benjamin didn't get open. It was a total team disaster yesterday. My hope is the team will rally around Allen. Allen does not need the same separation Peterman does for a receiver to be open. Allen can put such velocity on the ball, defenders can't close the gap quick enough. Now the receivers having hands to catch the ball is another story. The receiving group and Benjamin in particular where letting the ball get into their body. Benjamin and the rest of the receivers will not be able to do that with Allen's passes. He just throws it too fast, the ball will bounce off them. I mean on routes where the wide out is 10-20 yds down field. They need to make a catch if it hits them in the hands. You are a pro, play like one.

Who Is the Worst Starting QB in Bills History (NFL)?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Peterman, and not even close. Guy is brutal. He does not belong in the NFL. Yesterday showed just how little preseason football matters. AJ should of stayed. All those guys on the list from Ferguson on i can personally recall watching. They all showed entire games of being a professional quarterback. Peterman has shown fleeting glimpses in mop up duty or preseason. I would take some kids in college right now with a weeks practice over Peterman. -
Benjamin looked terrible. Slow, getting no separation. The Bills also need to stop using him on deep balls. Benjamin appears to be nothing more than a slightly faster TE. Use him on crossing routes, comebacks, jump balls in corner of end zone, etc. I hope he can get better and the staff can learn how to use him correctly.

Who Starts At QB For Week 2? (Poll)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Paulus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Got to be Allen. McDermott made a mistake keeping Peterman. AJ should of stayed. AJ had shown he can win a game in the NFL. Peterman isn’t good. You have to give a team hope. Allen can make plays that the team will believe in . -
The perfect scenario. When Fitz turns into Fitz, Winston will be there to take over.

Every Josh Allen Throw Vs. Ravens

That’s your opinion. You are welcome to it. -
The Silver Lining : Josh Allen is very good.

He is the quarterback we have been waiting for. The only good thing about starting Peterman is that none of us will ask for him to play ever again no matter how bad Allen plays. -

He is going to be great. Receivers will need to adjust to the velocity of his passes. We have our quarter back!! -
Bills vs. Ravens Postgame ?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen needs to play. Peterman doesn’t belong on the active roster. He can’t win a game at QB. A back up needs to have displayed that ability. McDermott and Beane made a mistake . It isn’t a fatal one. Allen will play now and hopefully stay healthy for the year. Bills won’t win a ton of games. We get some pass rushers and some o linemen in the draft and FA. Two years from now Bills will be a very good team.
