Josh Gordon to be released-now traded to PATS

He wanted out of Cleveland for a reason. I don’t think Buffalo was a good fit. When Brady retires after this year and the Pats stink, he will want out of NE. -
I think trading a vet who has a few seasons left is a smart move. The Bills are looking at 2-3 year rebuild. McCoy has this year at a high level. I am not sure about next season. A team trying to win now and missing a RB due to injury will most likely give up a higher pick during the season. Cincy with Mixon going down is a good option as well.

[Vague Title] The future is ok

Right there with you Kirby. I will admit the first half today had me upset. Not because they were losing but because of some calls I witnessed. Hughes being dropped in a 3-12 situation was inexcusable. The Bills only pass rusher needs to be doing that on passing downs. the second half made me feel great. Allen started running some and it seemed to help calm his nerves. Allen was exactly what I thought he would be, a talented rookie learning how to adjust and read NFL speed. The defense played amazing in the second half. I could care less how it looks that Davis quit at half. Boldin quit last year and went out and made the playoffs. The team responded great at half. They will play for McDermott and Allen can rally the guys. Watching Allen on some of those runs reminded me of watching Kelly run. A big strong guy who isn’t afraid of anyone . This is the beginning. -
Star Lotulelei: Where is the Impact?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Everything looked better in the second half. I’d like to see how Star did in the 3rd and 4th quarters vs the rest of the season. He hasn’t been an impact player yet, I will give you that. D tackles usually aren’t . -
The team that played the second half I will cheer for all day! Allen showed a lot and the second half. The D got better as the game went on, that typically doesn’t happen when you are losing. Not only did the team not quit it played better in adversity. Another draft and FA and I think we are going to get rewarded for our patience. Stay the course.

How did Foster make the team?

He did have a nice catch late. Maybe the kid can figure it out, I hope so. We need someone with speed AND hands. -
McD took over defensive play calling in 2nd half

When I saw Hughes dropping in coverage on a 3-12 in the first half I knew something was wrong. A competent Cord doesn’t have your only legit pass rusher dropping in coverage on obvious passing situations. Disappointed in Leslie. McDermott gave a job to someone who helped him on his way up. Leslie need to retire if the game has passed him by.
