We are kidding ourselves if we think that we are real contenders this year. This defense might be a playoff D but this offense isn’t. To me McCoy is at the ‘high point’ of value. The one team who may need his services has a prior relationship. If the Bills can maximize the return then I am all for it. McCoy isn’t the problem on the team. I resigned myself to the fact that 2018 was going to be about watching Allen, and our young D. I don’t expect much more than 7 wins. If you aren’t a Super Bowl team this year, you better be building one. McCoy’s age worries me. I think he can be productive this year and possibly next. I think injuries will become more frequent for McCoy. If Philly would give a player of need and a third, take it. I understand the message it sends. I also don’t think anyone in the locker room will care as much if Ivory can keep running like he is.

When they let Josh be Josh he plays lose and the team feeds off that energy. Josh scrambling and running helps open things up and I think helps him calm down.

Likable guy. Emotional player figuring out how to control and focus it. Belongs on the line of scrimmage every down. Good against run good pass rusher bad in coverage. McDermott and Frazier better knock that crap off. I am the biggest MCDermott supporter but that is mind blowing.

We found one good reason to be on Hard Knocks. Orchard got tons of air time and is a good guy and husband and dad. Hope he finds the right fit in KC

I said a second for McCoy after the Chargers game. Anything less than a third in 2019 and a conditional pick that could be a 3rd in 2020 is a non starter.

I have been here for ten years. Not forever but not a newbie. Most of us are pretty reasonable. As reasonable as passionate fans who spend productive work time on here can be. There are a few who push agendas. There are a few who just push buttons. I have learned to ask more questions and try to read things with as little emmotions as possible. It’s good practice. If I can do it here, I hope it will translate to other places. I care a lot about the dang Bills. Easy to get emotionally worked up.

I hear ya. I am looking at Allen as Allen. He is a rookie. If I see Allen doing the same things in game 25 as he is in game 4, then I will be with you. We need to remind ourselves even the good quarterbacks make ‘what the heck’ plays. Go watch Big Ben’s pick just before half today. He literally through a jump floater into the end zone that got picked. I want to see the qb progress. I was this way with Tyrod. I gave him a pass and wanted to see progression. The progression never came. So for me Tyrod had to go.

Sounds like a guy learning how to be a professional. He has the talent, if he can control his emotions and play at a consistent level he can be a dominant interior player.

Not really. They inherited a bad salary cap with players who didn’t seem to want to buy in. They are now building a team with guys they have drafted or signed. They focused on defense and a quarterback. Think they have done pretty good so far. Milano Tre White Hyde Poyer H Phillips T Edwards Star Murphy Neal 2-2 with a rookie QB starting. The offense will get addressed the next off season. Takes a season to gel. My expectations are 2020 is the season.

Well they are white and men and coached defenses before becoming a HC. That’s about where it stops. Oh an both didn’t have a ton of talent. Difference is that McDermott has his guys buying in.

You can get very good olinemen in FA and in 2nd-5th rounds of draft: I expect Beane to pick up at least 3 quality linemen to help protect Allen for next year. Allen playing this year is a good thing.

They used him right a couple of times today and he made plays. Zay is at his best crossing and staying within 15 yards of the LOS and making catches while moving. Zay looks to me like a possession receiver doing best work from slot.

I like the offensive line investment first, and I agree with playing the young QB.

Nope, and if Allen is a six year Vet I won’t be saying that either. Allen didn’t have a good game today. He made some good throws. I want to see how he does with good wide receivers. Zay is ok. The rest are bad or not trying(Benjamin is a disgrace and shouldn’t be allowed to wear the shield).

Ivory has a ton left in the tank. Perfect type of runner to compliment Shady. If those two stay healthy Bills shouldn’t be embarrassed again.
