AFC East: Bills Stay in 3rd Place
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only thing worse than not having a qb is thinking you have one when you don’t. Dolphins are the Bills of 2017. -
The pump fake could of worked perfectly there. I do wonder if Benjamin still would of either dropped the ball or been to slow to catch up to it? Not sure, Benjamin had a nice catch that stood today and another that didn’t. Makes me wonder if Daboll wanted AJ McCarron but was forced to work with Peterman.

Biggest re-do of the offseason

McDermott is learning. Culture and ‘buy in’ is important. I think or I hope McDermott has realized that at quarterback you need options who can throw the ball. -
Peterman looked good in practice and preseason. I am not sure why’s AJM didn’t look better. Maybe he didn’t gel with Daboll or McDermott. Going into the season without a proven winner at quarterback was a mistake. By winner all I mean is someone who has won a game and still has skill set to do so. Sounds like we may find out if Anderson still has the skills.

A better back up than Peterman. Nice guy, professional, doesn’t belong in the NFL -
Allen not showing progress
atlbillsfan1975 replied to PayDaBill$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What you say is correct but just said very negatively and without hope that maybe Allen can develop. Myself and the rest of the fans for the Bills want Allen to succeed and develop so he can help our team win. Allen is in his first season. Tell me one player in the NFL who got worse the more experience he got? Heck even Peterman has played better than his first start. -
Is Nate Peteman the worst QB in NFL history?

What’s his touchdown ratio of his team vs the other? -

I want to feel bad for the guy. I get the impression he and McDermott have similar faith beliefs. I also have to wonder if that is clouding McDermotts judgement. Peterman doesn’t belong playing in the NFL. -
Offensive Strategy Versus the Texans
atlbillsfan1975 replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is a difference between hurdling a player and on a designed roll out realizing you have the angle to the sideline to pick up the yards needed for a first down. -
I think the OP is saying the Bills can use their cap space to trade for a player whose current team won’t pay them. In Atlanta Julio Jones made a request for a new deal with three years left. The Falcons moved some money around on his deal to give him a couple million more this year from one of his remaining years. Jones is going to want a new deal before playing next year. Couple that with the fact his production is way down and maybe the Bills could trade for him and offer him a big salary. Jones is also friends with TO. If TO enjoyed his time in Buffalo, maybe he will have a nice thing to say about the Bills. I’m not advocating for it or against it. I think that’s what the OP was eluding too. It is why trades happen in other sports. I could see how it can happen in the NFL. Current team signed a deal they thought was good at the time and now they don’t, for whatever reason. They want cap relief and something in return to sweeten the deal. Bills collecting some 2nd- 4 th round picks for trade capital would help also.
