Last year they stayed at the Marriott downtown on the water. I know this because I pushed my cousin into Shady McCoy getting in the elevator at the hotel. I didn’t know it was McCoy. I may of been the victim of an unprofessional bartender. McCoy was not happy about it but he was fine. Although that was the Night before the Saints game and McCoy didn’t play that great for about a month. The full story also includes Tyrod and McCoy saying ‘white boys be trippin’ all and all it was pretty entertaining.

Just ask the Falcons. They got a 5th round pick taken away 2 years ago.

I would hate to see Caldwell fired because I have met him a few times and spoke football with him a bunch while he was here in Atlanta. I do think this mess falls on him. Bortles was Caldwell’s pick and it appears he won’t give up on the kid. Bortles is another Tyrod. Caldwell also hired Doug and we know what he is. Doug peaked last year, best you are going to get out of him as a HC. It was pretty good don’t get me wrong. I just never found Doug as being a dynamic leader. Hackett has Bortles enough said. Marcell was another move by Caldwell most likely with Doug’s input. Marcel will play good to prove to people he doesn’t stink. Motivation like that doesn’t last.

The offense would have to play competent ball. I like the D’s chances when the opposition has to drive 75+ yards and has time to rest.

He quit because he couldn’t play. Whether it was mental or physical I am not really sure, but it was what was best for everyone. The D looked better from that moment on for the most part. I don’t think Vontea was all of it but negativity can bring a place down.

The owners created this mess by giving into players like Bell. Best case scenario for the entire league is Bell becomes a FA. Then he gets a deal less than Gurley’s. Or Bell can retire. That is a non emotional series of events that leaves everyone making a choice of what’s right for themselves.

I watch a ton of CFB, the product is more entertaining overall than NFL. Let’s say Tua gets hurt, he already is gimpy, and then Hurts can’t play, again injured, Bama gets destroyed. Kirby I get how you can get caught up in the Bama hype. I went as far to read a great book about Saban and the process called ‘4th and Inches every day’. Fact is guys would get hurt for the CFB team. Meaning then you have even younger less experienced less developed guys coming in. It just wouldn’t be a game.
