Hearing Broncos will let Matt Paradis test FA
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Patriot Killa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A veteran center in his prime who is good is gold for a young quarterback. IF you guys who know anything about Paradis think he is that, then this is a position I would love to see the Bills spend money on in FA and even ‘over spend’. It can’t be understated how be of an impact Alex Mack has made In Atlanta. Here’s to hoping Beane can find the Bills their pro bowl center. -
McBeane's Moves Now Are For 2020 Success
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I mostly agree with you OP. I do think Beane and McDermott want to see the playoffs this year. The difference between the Rams and Eagles vs the Bills is the division. The Rams and Eagles don’t play in the same division as Belichick and Brady. I agree that over spending on a Clay type deal for a new tightend is not something I see Beane doing. The way McDermott gets the most out of the talent he has, could mean a couple extra wins. Getting to the playoffs ‘hot’ could mean a run. I just want to see Allen healthy. Beane needs to build an oline now. Indy showed you can do it in a year and the impact it can have on a talented quarterback. -
No thanks. There are TE’s to be had later in the draft that could have similar impact. Isaac Nauta in the 3rd is a sleeper.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say all positions need an upgrade. 3 out of 5. I think Teller is going to stick and I also believe Dawkins belongs on the line, not sure he is a LT. Dawkins showed regression last season which could of been a product of not having Richie next to him. I look for Tellers improvement to help Dawkins. I’d like to sign Williams for RT and one other FA lineman then draft 2 more o lineman. Besides quarterback there is not one unit more important than o line. New England gets it. Draft and develop lineman. Sprinkle In a FA when necessary.

Could the Bill's end up with 2 first rounders?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not me. Much rather have as many picks in the top 100. This staff has shown they can find players in the draft. -
A lot of these are coming from National media, ie the people who mostly said Allen was a boom or bust pick. Now some are trying to get on the train early if he is going to be a boom. None of it means a thing. Allen is going to be great. He had the talent, the heart, desire, and I think the brains to be awesome. Not talking anyone into it, least myself.

Jets released C - Spencer Long

Why? He played better each snap at guard and it isn’t like we have too many of those. Besides I don’t believe Teller played Center at all in college. -
My Hypothetical Julio Jones Trade....Yes or No?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One of Julio’s best games came in Green Bay in a cold setting. Julio is a gamer. He is dinged up a lot but he plays. I also don’t think Julio will be traded, Julio is one of Arthur Blanks guys. -
Not really sure. The O.C. never really pushed the TE in the passing game. Watch Nauta to have a good combine and move up boards.

Isaac Nauta out of UGA is 6’4 240. UGA did not use him much but the kid can play. Love to see him grabbed if there are second or third. I don’t want him going to Pats. Nauta will be one of those players people will ask ‘how did he last till there?’ in the draft.

I am Torn. Brady isn’t the same player he was a few years ago. The decline is happening. I don’t want to see him look like Payton Manning did his last season, that was sad to watch. On the other hand I want him to look somewhat capable as the Bills take back control of the AFCE for the next 10 years under Allen and co.

Jim Kelly wants to sit down with Josh Allen...
atlbillsfan1975 replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen did a great job being the rookie quarterback. As Allen grows in the organization so will his responsibilities in all areas, that transition is where someone who has been there before can help. -

Jim can give some great advice on being a leader and team mate relationships. -
Who’s watching the super bowl
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 1billsnut's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right now today I don’t want to because I am frustrated at the OT rules. But I know I will watch that night. -
OR, Daboll and McDermott wanted to hire and oline coach first. McDermott also needed to hire a ST coach. Once these hires were complete it was about fit for the staff. For all we know Daboll always wanted to promote Hall but wanted to make sure he would get along with the oline hire. After some initial meetings Daboll and McDermott feel good about how the staff is running. Speculation of the positive kind instead of the ‘Bills stink and never get a break’.

Our Last Win in the Playoffs
atlbillsfan1975 replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They have always been good friends. I went to the very first Kelly football camp for kids. Jim would bring in players from around the league to coach and speak. Marino was one of the speakers. The two of them were joking and carrying on pretty good. -
This topic is turning into the same type as religion, politics, or where someone stands on abortion. People are trying to use data to explain their position, which is making zero impact on what someone from the other belief feels is correct. I think we can all agree to disagree on this until they finally play the game. For the record I am 100% on the side of the college team doesn’t hang with the professional team. I am also a guy who loves SEC football and watches a good bit. I grew up around the Bills as a kid. I was able to ask players the biggest difference between pro and college and every time it’s the speed of the game. It’s just not the same yet. I feel the gap is getting shorter it takes to adjust to the speed of the pro game verse college. I think this has to do with practice rules at both levels, as well as training and nutrition.

Predictions - AFC & NFC Championship Games
atlbillsfan1975 replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
KC is winning tomorrow. Big. i also would like to see the Rams. Not totally sure about that game. So I will go with Rams in a very close game. SB KC vs Rams. KC wins the Super Bowl. -
I am a big UGA fan. Nick Chubb is a different back. Chubb lost weight and got lean for the NFL. Holyfield is more an old school between the tackle running back. I wouldn’t really go after him till the 5th. now Isaac Nauta the TE from UGA would be a nice pick up in the third. Watch him to move up boards once people see him at the combine.

I like your list and Wallace that means roughly 5 players a year. If the Bills could hit on 5 players this draft it would be amazing. 2 starters 2 heavy rotational guys 1 ST player who sees action as season progresses. Rest are depth for injuries or on practice squad. This front office and coaching staff are communicating well with each other. That is going a long way to filling needs.

If his coaches and teammates say he is doing a good job, I think that’s worth listening to more than Bill From Batavia.
