  1. Love having a Vet Center. Good job.
  2. It is extremely difficult for fans to understand line play. Easy to say we had tons of sacks and a bad rushing attacking thus the o line sucked. Could of been that some of the line didn’t play well while others did. Mismatch of scheme verse strengths of personnel. I am not really sure. Until you sit down and watch every snap or every game can you truly understand how each particular lineman played.
  3. Definitely. To think agents and teams haven’t been speaking in ‘ hypothetical ‘ terms for awhile is just silly. IIRC the Haynesworth deal with the Redskins was done at 1201 am. That’s was a big deal to get done In 1 minute.
  4. I don’t see him leaving Atlanta. Julio is one of Arthur Blanks and Thomas Dimitrofs guys. The Julio trade was Dimitrofs first move as a GM. I could go either way. Julio is an amazing wide receiver. He has had some great games playing in the cold. He is the ultimate ‘throw it up and have him go get it’ receiver. The reasons not to do it- Julio is hurt a lot and misses a ton of practice time. This isn’t as big a deal when you have an established relationship and chemistry with your quarterback. In Buffalo it could prove a bigger issue. Julio has a very tough time in the red zone making touchdown catches. If Buffalo can make a ton of moves in FA and not need as much team building through draft, I would be ok with giving up a first for him.
  5. Probably right. He will fit right in with the Raider way. basically Gruden traded Cooper for a first and and then got back the best wide receiver for a 3rd and 5th. On the surface Gruden does look pretty savvy.
  6. On paper I agree. Brown never makes anything easy or stress free. He is an awesome talent. Let’s see how he likes playing for a franchise with a dysfunctional history verses one of the most classy. This is the kind of deal it needed to be for it to get done. Teams just didn’t want to give up a high pick AND then turn around and rework Browns contract.
  7. ...because he can’t cut or get open in short yardage? I’m asking for a friend.
  8. Chris Landry a long time NFL scout has a weekly spot here in Atlanta on a radio station. Landry basically said exactly what is happening a few weeks back. Teams just don’t want to give up picks and then have to work out a new deal like Brown is a FA. Brown’s age and personality also get factored in for sure. Kudos to Beane for taking a swing at it. Beane knows about Brown much more than I do. I am sure before Beane engaged in talks he had done some background on what Brown is really like. Brown is a tremendous talent no question about it. I had very mixed emotions when I first heard the news Brown could be coming to the Bills. I am going to put this scenario in the category of things happening(or not happening) for a reason.
  9. Because the Delorean is broke and we can’t go back to 2015.
  10. There seems to be such a discrepancy between elite tight ends and then everyone else. This contract is very reasonable by salary cap numbers. Tight is one of the few positions were pay has not sky rocketed.
  11. So true. Almost every rookie has an adjustment period going from college to pros. Some it may take half a season others it takes two seasons. A player will typically get two full seasons if they show flashes of being able to make plays. Teller showed flashes last year he could play in the league. He needs to be more consistent this year. I would be surprised if the Bills didn’t bring in a center, guard, and a tackle through FA and or through the first three rounds in draft. They know they need starters on the line.
  12. I like the idea of a proven Vet center. Take some pressure off Allen with line calls.
  13. Slot receiver. Play him there and watch him flourish.
  14. Ridley is going to be a stud. He will be drafted late first or very early second. Bills will need to trade down or back up. Anyone who has watched UGA games can tell you Ridley makes the tough catch and has ‘field speed’.
  15. Philly is letting Dtackle Jernigan test FA. Is he a fit? Hurt most of last year. Is he another Starr or more penetrating Dtackle?
  16. $4mil or less is a win. Still think they draft a Dtackle early.
  17. Riley Ridley is Calvin Ridleys brother. Riley plays for UGA and is 6’3 205 and a ton of speed and talent. By draft day he could be sneaking into the first round. UGA just had so many talented guys and they run the ball. Look for Ridley and Nauta (te) to have much better pro careers than college. Nauta on the right team could be another Gronk.
  18. Broke up with my girlfriend at the time when she laughed asking ‘how could they lose like that?’. Overall she wasn’t a very nice person, this was the nail in her coffin.
  19. Riley Ridley out of UGA is going to be a better pro than college player.
  20. That's a horrible thing to be. Freeman already is light and very injury prone because he runs so violently without size to back it up. Falcons messed that one up big time. Sign Coleman in FA if you want a back to compliment Shady. Draft a shifty back in the mid rounds in the draft who will replace Shady after this year.
  21. I just hope he doesn't end up like Apolo at the hands of Drago!
  22. Gosh I hope so, the more quarterbacks picked in front of the Bills the better!! Bills will either end up with an elite Dlineman or Olineman.
  23. Trade is fine. Don’t draft a TE in the first.
  24. Besides quarterback Olinemen are the most intelligent people on the field. Couple that with the recent bad publicity of health issues caused by playing the game and I think there is a connection. Joke!
