Are you thinking more of a development type guy? Maybe someone who hasn’t played tackle long or a small school guy? seems like these signings in FA will buy a year or two depending on position.

Evans was another guy who should of been drafted in the second or third round. He wasn’t a bad player he just wasn’t great. Lacked size and exceptional hands.

Good post and you are talking about Nauta from UGA . Due to his poor combine he is going to be there in the third I think, unless Belichick grabs him. Belichick went down and spent time with Kirby last year in spring practice at UGA. Behold he drafts two Dawgs in the first and second round. I’d like to see Buffalo make a trade back into the late second and grab him if he is there.

Two things, speed and strength. Mostly speed. Pro game is faster, some guys can adjust, others just physically can’t.

I hope Cleveland prospers. They deserve it. My concern for them is like most teams who have a ton of superstars who haven’t been developed on the same team. I also think a first time head coach has been out in a difficult spot. The players will need to get along with each other. It can happen. I do agree with the OP, it’s either going to go great or terrible.

Now draft a TE in the third or later. If Nauta is there out of UGA, and he might be, in the last half of the third I hope the Bills go and get him. Nauta is going to be a much better pro than college player.

He looked dreadful last year. Had a very solid 2016 and 2017. He needs a medical check.

Love hearing this about Foster. Sounds like he has figured out that his speed will take him so far. Since being demoted and brought back up Foster has been fantastic. Foster showed you can 'put it all together' and suddenly turn into something. My Hope is the same happens with Duke, i like having a big physical wide receiver who will fight fo rthe ball. I think the Bills do as well given the failed KB trade.

Ansah and Hughes please. Let Hughes play for his next contract next year, could mean double digit sacks for both Ansah and Hughes. Mario and Hughes complemented each other very well in 2014. Be nice to see that pass rush again, and have the backfield to pick passes.

Seems like the coaches and a Beane realize when Allen made his best plays was to fast guys getting separation. Fast guys with better hands are being brought in.

I can’t remember one. Been a fan for 35 years. We have had single players like B Paup and M Williams who were single big signings. But nothing like this volume. Can people now see the process?

I know we can. before FA signings of the past two days the Bills were set to have the most cap space in 2020. Love for some of you cap members to break it down for some of us less knowledgeable members. Where is the cap this year and now next year?

I am not so sure. I really like what we have done. Solid signings in need areas. They over paid slightly for Morse, but that’s FA. The rest of the signings seem like quality players and very astute pickups.

The only way i am a fan is if it is a four year deal that the Bills can get out of in 3 years without a huge cap hit. Running back is a position that premiere players can be found in the second, third, and even fourth round. I would be more accepting of a wide receiver getting over paid than a running back.

This is so true. When you step up to the line you have to look across and figure out who and where you are blocking. You adjust as the defenders move around trying to creat confusion pre snap. All while remembering the snap count. The last thing you need on your mind is ‘the guy next to me going to do his job’. When a line plays together for awhile and has talent , it can make the entire team better. Let’s hope Morse and Dawkins are two pieces and Beane can find or has found the rest.

McDermott has earned the right to spot talent in the D backfield. The injuries are concerning, will wait for the numbers before having a real opinion .

Not a big fan of Barr. Reminds me of Jason Taylor size wise but plays softer and can’t man the end like Taylor did.

As long as Brady is back there, any 5 guys will look fine.
