I don’t think any back for the Bills this year will get over 1000 yards rushing. What i do hope for is to get back into the top 5 of yards per carry. This is a great indicator for how well we are rushing the ball. McDermott is going to want to run the ball at least as much as the pass. 4 yards a carry or there about will mean good things for this O.

Ed Oliver 2019 Sack Total; Over / Under 9

Under. I think Oliver will be a good one but I don’t think DT’s getting over 7 sacks is a healthy bet. -
Bills OTA Attendance: Who was missing?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You know I never thought about it that way for the offensive side. It’s kinda like what they did a few years back with the front office. Instead of firing Dimitrof they brought in more ex GM’s to help him. Pioli in particular was brought in because Dimitrof couldn’t pick olineman. -
Are you a Pats fan or a Bills fan?

Vic is going to get his coach fired this year. That guy is another Maybin who had one good year. -
Long time Broncos owner Pat Bowlen passes away at 75

A great owner . Heart goes out to the Bowlen family and Bronco fans. -
He is a second year quarterback. If you think he is going to be perfect you are going to be disappointed. This year I want to see a 2 to 1 ‘good game’ to ‘bad game’ ratio. Allen is going to progressively get better. Preseason is helpfully but as we witnessed last year, preseason QB play isn’t the same as regular season.

Big guys don’t like the heat! They will be back out there when it matters. -
What's next for the 2018 QBs - ESPN

I’d be upset if I was a quarterback that played for Gase anywhere. -
My hope is Foster continues to develop like he did after the PS mid season send down. If Foster continues to approach his career with the determination of working hard and getting better he can be a great one. He is young and needs guys to push him right now. I didn’t hear about the McCoy tongue lashing another poster mentioned. That’s why you need Vets around. Vets who work hard and are talented and good get the ear of the youngsters. The Vets can hand a guy like Foster a name and number and say ‘call this guy and ask him what he would of done different given a second chance’. The NFL is a privilege to play in. If Foster respects himself and the game he will be one of the pieces we look back at that turned this franchise around to where it belongs.

New WR coach Chad Hall - will he have an impact?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hall is a great guy. Hall is friends with my cousin and has been able to get him sideline passes before. I wish Chad tons of success. The entire Hall family is first class from everything I have seen and heard. What his sister went through and how she handled it was courageous and graceful. -
Every player that has been signed or drafted can play another position on the line, except Morse. This is the versatility that McDermott and Beane sought. If someone gets hurt they have another person available to step in. Center- got the best FA one available. Morse will be able to help with line calls and veteran leadership. Guards- Spain, Long, and Feliciano all have proven ability a guard. Feliciano and Long have played center before and can backup Morse. Tackle- Dawkins and Ford can play tackle or move inside to guard. Nyseke is the perfect swing tackle to step in if Ford is having a bad game or to give one of the other guys a breather. All FA were signed to short deal except Morse. Switching positions mid game much less mid drive isn’t easily done. In fact given 4 out of 5 projected starters are new to the team and system I’d say it would be careless to do for any other reason than necessity. I am sure the OP was just having some fun. It does shine light on the fact that the team signed guys who can play multiple positions. Well done by Beane.

OBJ missing Cleveland OTAs
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Warcodered's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OBJ cares a lot about what others think. None of this matter if Cleveland wins. If they don’t win Kitchens will have his hands full. -
So very sad. As someone expecting their first I can’t even imagine what they are going thru. Heart goes out to Foles and his wife.

Baltimore made the post season last year. The Ravens struggling means another spot opens up. Having a quarterback not grasp a new system or play poorly can lead to a team missing the playoffs. I agree that after hearing Jackson speak and the Wonderlic scores, I was skeptical about his ability to read a defense and comprehend a play book. This article does nothing to make those apprehensions go away.

Teams Wanting To Pick 1st in 2020.....
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t think teams ‘tank’. I do think new coaches come in and learn and evaluate. I think we are going to begin to see a pattern with new coaches being hired and moving on from aging QB’s. Not sure about this next year, Cincy would make the most sense. New coach, wants his guy at QB. Dalton’s days are numbered, AJ isn’t getting any younger. As for the 2021 draft I can see Carolina firing Ole River Boat Ron after this season and the new coach giving Cam a season before moving on for Lawrence. Cam had surgery in the offseason and hasn’t had a great season the last few years. Take away the Super Bowl year and he is slightly above average QB who makes some spectacular plays occasionally. He has another mediocre year followed by a bad year Carolina will gladly move on. Tua is good. He had two bad games but he was also hurt, and those were good defenses he was playing against. This year will really show what Tua is. UGA and Clemson played against Tua in 2017. They had first hand knowledge of what he does and then a total years worth of tape on him. Pretty mush everyone Tua plays this year will be able to say the same thing. I will reserve judgement till after the college year is complete. -
