  1. Does he even want to play? I think Brown likes the attention and probably the money but not the game. Brown figured this out and is struggling how to voice it. He is sabotaging his career to get what he wants, out. Just a thought.
  2. Does Brown want to play anymore? I think Brown likes the attention and probably the money but I don’t think he likes the game. I think Brown has figured this out on some level and is struggling.
  3. Are you “lukewarm” on Allen?
  4. Trubisky is in year 3. Also Nagy called a terrible game. I’d be more pissed at Dabol.
  5. He will land someplace, more because of how void the league is for linemen and Bodine’s started so many games.
  6. I honestly question if he wants to play anymore.
  7. Hard Knocks showed enough for me. Brown is 100% out for himself. Everything Brown does is for his benefit only. Narcissistic behavior to a T.
  8. And you missed the point in a race to be funny.
  9. Do you know how the Rams called plays? How his HC covered for the fact Goff struggled to read a defense presnap early in the season?
  10. Oh man, not sure how I feel about this one. It’s probably me having a hard time getting over how slow it took him to develop and how NE made him look like a first game rookie in the SB. I get it, the price of doing business. Maybe he will continue to develop and be worth every penny.
  11. Glad it’s another franchise trying to prove the rest of the league wrong and overspend on RB.
  12. Don’t go near Vic Beasley. But I like your approach.
  13. I’d like to see what premium right tackles are getting these days. Hoping we will be looking at that scenario in 4 years from now.
  14. Did he get an arm transplant? Mayock’s response in the article was pretty funny. Basically saying Gruden loves his quarterbacks.
  15. Go to trust Beane and McDermott when it comes to the defense and DB’s in particular. McDermott will shoot him straight about his role and gauge his reaction for a signing.
  16. I could see Singletary before Oliver for a couple of reasons. Singletary’s position and the fact he will be the leader of carries. I think Oliver will be a Star in the league but a Dline man usually takes more time to get the recognition.
  17. With the Bills mentioned third behind the two Super Bowl teams a year ago, it feels kind of good.
  18. I’m not negative on him, I think Isiah McKenzie is better than him at this point. Ray Ray can be a productive player in this league. Bill picked the best option for the team this year.
  19. I always enjoy watching you two go back and forth. It’s like Superman vs Lex Luthor or Batman vs the Joker. For the record I tend to see things your way. Particularly in this instance. I would of loved Clowney for a similar deal the Seahawks got. Fact is he wasn’t coming here. Beane values a third round pick to much for a guy who tells him, you got me for a season. Not to mention nothing about Clowney’s behavior this off-season points to a team first type of guy. i like the talent on D. I think they are building something the next several seasons. Not to mention maybe Johnson can develop into something special.
  20. Good for him. He gets one last run at a ring.
  21. I don’t like this for us 3-4 seasons from now. Then again Cleveland found a way to screw up extra first round picks for years.
  22. It’s time to start making names for themselves. i think the phrase ‘if you don’t know who X is you will soon enough’ about a bunch of the guys on this team.
  23. Yeldon had the best RAC in preseason and zero drops. Seems legit to me.
  24. I would be shocked. Gore is going to get roughly 15-20% of the snaps. Singletary will get 50-60% of the snaps. The rest will be split among the other backs.
  25. Good thread Kirby. It is true that for a lot of these men this is the end of a dream that started when they were kids. Think about that for a second. No need to cry for them or feel terrible for them. They got farther than so many of us who started on the path and ventured down it to some length. The scene in Money Ball where the scout is talking to Billy Beane about ‘...it’s a child’s game and we all get told at some point we can’t play it anymore...’, that point is now for a lot of young men. Heads high to all of them. If you could persevere to get to this point you can make it.
