Zay Jones blocking ability - I’m impressed

Beane wasn’t here. McDermott and Whaley draft. This is the big negative for not having Beane In place before the draft. -
Tenn should demolished Atlanta. Not sure Quinn makes it to the end of the year. There are more than one ex head coach on that staff.

‘Process guys’ hurt the Bills today
atlbillsfan1975 replied to atlbillsfan1975's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Certain guys are on this team for what they bring in the locker room more so what they bring on the field. DiMarco and Smith are two of those guys to me. You can disagree. -
It is a huge game now for this young team. Bounce back and win one on the road! Go into the Bye week 4-1. That Pats team is very beatable. Let’s go play the Titans as hard as we played the Pats today! Bills do that and they win a bunch of games this year.

I’m not so sure Daboll is the right coach for Josh. Two weeks now I did not like what I see out of Daboll and Josh on the sideline. Loved seeing McDermott talking with Josh in between the 1st and 2nd quarter. -
‘Process guys’ hurt the Bills today

Not my point. I’m fine with them not being as talented as Knox or some of the younger guys. What I am not fine with is making mental mistakes. Not saying that either. I am saying do what your job is. Don’t make mental mistakes. -

Yep, or call timeout. -
Patrick DiMarco and Lee Smith hurt the Bills today. Leaders in sports need to not only have work ethic, and discipline but they must also be capable of production. They don’t need to be the most talented but they can’t make mental mistakes costing their team. DiMarco and Smith will lose respect of their teammates if they have mental mistakes like they did today. Smith’s penalties and DiMarco’s miss of the block on the punt impacted the game negatively.

Belichick and Brady’s days numbered. Brady showed his age a lot today. He can float one in there, so could Fitz. Brady doesn’t have the same control when he has to put zip on it. That Pats team isn’t breaking the Bills four Super Bowl record. The Bills have a Super Bowl caliber D. The offense will get there.
-
And less of Lee Smith, guy stinks. Cost us yards in penalties and a time out for not getting lined up.
-
If they are going to keep guys like DiMarco on this team they better know who to block. You can be a ‘process guy’ but if you do not do your job the real talent won’t listen.

That was a tough game to watch. If Allen stays healthy they win. -
Devin Singletary unlikely to play per Rapaport
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not with a hammy man. I want him out there in the worst way. But if he tears it instead of straining it he could be done for the year. Bad things is it is so hard to tell how bad it is. That’s why team error on the side of caution early in seasons. -
Say Singletary plays and Edelman doesn't...

RB has just become the weak area on offense and maybe the entire team. Gore and Yeldon turn the offense one dimensional for Belichick. Gore is ok, but those runs he gets 7-8 yards a good elusive back gets much more. Yeldon wasn’t used for his pass catching last week. For me this game just got a lot less winnable. i do think it’s the right call to sit him and not to aggravate Singletary’s hammy anymore. We will need him for the long haul. I really wanted to see the Bills complete offense against the NE D. -
You may want to be careful with this. It could be construed as a threat and thus legal action may be sought. Troll away, but don’t make physical threats. Freedom of speech is fine up to the line of suggesting physical violence.

Bills QB Josh Allen becoming a must-watch player
atlbillsfan1975 replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen has the physical talent. He also possesses the work ethic and desire to be great. Allen is showing this year he can get better. He has shown it since he came back from the injury last year. It’s exciting times to be a Bills fan and Allen is a big reason why. -
Rodgers and Brady, Wentz and Allen
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rodgers was exactly like Allen when he first started. I wonder if the Bills had gone from Kelly to Allen as the Packers went from Farve to Rodgers, would the narrative be different? Even look at the Pats transition to Brady. Bledsoe was a good QB that got injured and Brady got his shot. Unique situations for both of those great quarterbacks. The Packers has a down year in 2008 but they were 13-3 in 2007 and then 11-5 in 2009. Obviously there was talent on that team. We all knew about the Pats. I’d say the talent on the teams for the Pats and Packers helped Brady and Rodgers when they were just starting out as the QB 1. Now over the years Rodgers and Brady have had to carry their teams, but neither was asked to early on. -
Jerry Hughes versus who for the Patriots?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would say it’s below the team average to this point. Now I also don’t think the Bills have had a ton of holding calls. I want to see it called the same for both teams on Sunday. I doubt they move anyone from the interior of the line to tackle. To me this would in theory make the interior of the line weaker. Brady isn’t able to scramble much at all anymore. Getting pressure up the middle is ideal. Jerry and then Murphy or whoever is on the other side need to keep Tom in the pocket. I dare say Brady will be the slowest guy on the field every down. -
How about a 17 game season?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’d like it. Get rid of Preseason. Add 6 more players to active roster. now I think the owners are going to use this as a bargaining chip. I think they stay at 16 games and get players to give up something that is meaningful to them. -
While Weddle isn’t wrong with what he said, the best approach to Brown is to ignore him. That actually would do the most. Brown craves attention.
