I wasn’t impressed with Vrabel when he was on the Hard Knocks with Houston. Yesterday did little to change my impression of him. The decision to kick it was comical. People around us in the stadium were dying laughing before the kick.

I liked hearing Allen say he thinks he played his best game of his career. I threw the balm away when he needed to and didn’t take any silly hits or chances. thank you for the int. Video. That shows how sometimes it’s not the quarterbacks fault. we finally have a quarterback throwing with anticipation instead of waiting for a receiver to be open, ie what Mariotta was doing all day. I was at the game and the pass that impressed me the most was the one to Knox down the middle for about 15 yards. From my seat I could see Allen throw the ball while the TE was running away from Allen, the TE broke in on his route and the ball was right there, he just dropped it. Heck of a throw. Allen is the guy. Getting better all the time. Set backs will happen , but sky is the limit for this kid.

Firing someone this soon in a season for me says ‘darn it, i know I shoulda let you go last year’. When you think it’s time to move on in a work environment, it is.

Hopefully Nsekhe’s ankle will be better by Miami and then just need Morse or Ford to be ok to play. Good thing the staff kept 9 olinemen. Murphy getting hurt doesn’t concern me really all that much. I would think by the fact that McDermott was cut Bates is seen as better by his everyday coaches. Let’s hope that’s the case. Sometimes that works for a player. We need you to step up. Ford seems like his personality might respond favorably to this. He also seems to have that classic olineman demeanor of wanting to protect his QB. This should be heightened with Allen coming off injury. It takes a certain mindset to be a good olineman. Tough, smart, and protective.

This offense seems like a rhythm offense so far. Need to hit the 5-10 yard pass plays and then run the ball. We haven’t seen the big play from the passing attack yet like last year. I don’t think this week is a good week to expect it either. Tenn has a solid defensive backfield.

I really think McDermott is pulling a fast one on Vrabel and Tenn. Allen plays and Williams gets the call up.

I think one of the criteria for allowing other teams fans to post here is they provide some insight. You don’t. Ok. Last time I engage you. i really wanted to know what Pats board you were on so when your team goes down in flames this year and Beady retires crying I can come watch how you take it. This season. I may have said before another season, but I really do feel like his days are numbered. This is his last year. Teams need to go after him. Sure he can make a few plays a game. The days of Tom beating a good team with his arm are gone.

Couldn’t of said it any better. The people here who want Barkley to be better than Allen are mostly people who formed an opinion about Allen. Some of These posters are now more concerned with being right than with seeing their team succeed. Barkley is another version of Tyrod, Fitz, Holcomb... I really think Allen can be a Rodgers, Farve, Big Ben type of player for years to come. If Allen is cleared he plays and we cheer him on to victory.
