The most complete TE on the roster is Kroft. He hasn’t been healthy and today was his first game back. IF Kroft can stay healthy I think he will be the one getting that deep seam route Knox dropped today. Knox has the most raw talent on the roster. Knox will be a good one, just needs to develop. Smith is what he is. Great blocker who if you forget about can make a catch. Smith is also a locker room guy and process guy. Sweeney is odd man out for now till someone gets hurt again or he can beat out one of the Vets.

I gotcha. I went to that 85 Super Bowl. I was young but it was a great experience. It was a different era and McMahon constantly drove Ditka nuts. McMahon wanted to play fast and loose and Ditka wanted to hand the ball off to Walter Payton and win 3-0 behind the defense. You are correct, the Bears have never really been known for their QB play.

Nope, Bills need an edge rusher for sure. Beasley isn’t the answer.

The problem is, he isn’t good nor do I think he cares about the game a lot. He had 1 good year out of 5, why would you want to extend him? It is ridiculous when you think that the 7th rounder the Bills picked this year will have a similar impactful career than Beasley. Beasley has had 1 sack in 6 post season games. None in the Super Bowl season playoffs. Beasley will be out of the league in 2-3 years. No way Beane makes this trade. I am sure Beane and McDermott coming from NFC south know to stay away from Beasley.

I’ll guarantee you this, whoever he finishes the season out with, he won’t play for next year. He just isn’t good. I doubt he will get a ringing endorsement from any of his coaches or GM after the season when teams inquire about him during FA.

I met him a couple times. At the time I was playing center for the seventh grade team. I got to go to training camp some and get all access with my family. Kent and Richter both spoke with me. I had know idea how cool that was then. I do now. very good man. The quite, strong type. And just a nice person. 50 is way to young.

NO NO NO. i follow the Falcons. I know a couple of the sports talk guys who cover the Falcons. Beasley isn’t a process guy. He is basically a Maybin that had one good year. I am a big UGA fan and was very happy Glenn was drafted by the Bills and liked the early play of Glenn. sorry, but I think either Glenn doesn’t have the body or drive to be a consistent player in the league. I also doubt he plays for backup money. I can’t see McDermott and Beane ever signing him again.

I honestly have no clue what Drake is but know Coleman was a great compliment back for the Falcons. Coleman can do everything good but nothing great. Is that how you would describe Drake?

I get what you are saying but I can also see what the other poster means. The fact that Foster has been non existent so far throws a little shade on his second half performance from 2018. Now if it has been due to injury this year and Foster is now healthy let’s see what he can do.

I believe Coleman got $10 mil over 2 years.
