Belichick is notorious for focusing on one thing you do well and taking it away. He did it in the Super Bowl when he was the Giants DC. He continues to do it. The Pats run motion on offense to see what coverage the defense is in. Small simple thing, but helps Brady know pre snap what are his best matchups.

Let Kroft get acclimated and Knox hopefully will settle down and make the easy catches like he makes the difficult ones. Kroft really is the best all around TE on the roster when healthy. No doubt he has improved over last year and getting better. Allen is a couple blatant drops away from the 300 yard game. Give me a gamer who can turn it on when it counts the most over a stat stuffer.

What was Allen’s downfield efficiency last year? I thought it was maybe 1st?

Who cares about SF? I am talking about the Bills. You must wear a deeper shade of rose colored glasses than I do if you think the Bills are a top 5 team after the Miami game.

I have to lean more towards the 9th best than the 5th best after the Dolphins game. Dolphins were beat up all over the offensive line and the Bills didn’t do enough to take advantage of that. Defense looked very average. Offense looked out of sync for 3 quarters. Time for Daboll to call a good game for 4 quarters and the offense to cut out the penalties.

Brady would tarnish his reputation by going someplace else. Makes no sense. Retire. i wonder if there is a power struggle at the top between Kraft and Belichick after this season. I really think Belichick knows Brady is close to being done and would like to move on from him after this year instead of having to suffer a lost season with an ancient Brady throwing ducks and being a statue in the pocket.

I like that the stats say Allen gets better as the game goes on. This could mean Allen and the coaches figure things out as the game goes along. Plus he doesn’t get scared when the game is on the line.

I thought this as well. With the speed at LB, barring Lorenzo, the Bills should give Lamar fits. Make Lamar beat you being a pocket passer. If he can, great. Don’t lose to him because he runs for 100+ yards and throws for 150 yards.

I was watching Lamar Jackson yesterday run wild on Seattle. Got me thinking that Edmunds might be the spy against Jackson. Edmunds is quick enough if he plays proper contain.

Kroft is the best all around option at TE on the team right now. Knox has the talent to be better once he develops. Let’s give Kroft a few games to get in game shape and click with the team. Fingers crossed Kroft stays healthy I think he can be a good target for Allen, Especially if Duke is down for any time.
