  1. I haven’t seen anything that leads me to believe Kitchens is some dynamic schemer. Hope I feel that way around 5 pm today too.
  2. All week I have been nervous about this game like I was for Philly. This morning I’m waking up excited. Feel like I did going into the Jets game and Pats game. Bills win this one if Josh finishes the game!
  3. I feel like Tre rarely has had a bad game this year. For defense my most important player is Hughes. Time for him to step up against maybe the worst tackles in football and make Baker feel the heat. on offense I go with Dawkins. If Dawkins can handle Garrett mostly one on one with a little help from the TE from time to time, Alle should have time to pick apart the TE’s with Beasley and some underneath stuff.
  4. Money is part of the problem. When you consider that the top 3 most expensive players on the defense are on the line, it’s an added layer of frustration. There also seems to be caveats, like he is our best interior lineman. First that’s not saying much. Second, Well I hope so, he gets paid 3 times more than the next highest interior lineman. I guess we could argue this forever. What I see on many plays is a guy getting blown off the ball too quickly. Yes he is supposed to eat blockers, but a little more resistance would be helpful so other players can play their gaps.
  5. I am expecting Lee to get a bunch against Cleveland as a blocker to help with Myles Garrett. Love to see Knox get a few too and then release out for catches.
  6. Kinda my feeling too. The big difference for me is the HC. Pederson is a heck of an offensive mind verses Kitchens has yet to put it together consistently.
  7. Kind of my thought. Amari hasn’t really been as much a focal point this year, but Dallas has weapons for Dak to find.
  8. While I’m not a Dak fan I do think he is better at this point than Haskins and the Dallas receivers are better than what Washington’s. It’s going to be a tough game. The Bills could win it. It would help the Thanksgiving meal taste a ton better.
  9. They have a lot of players that have had good seasons previous years. Even this year Garrett is having good sack numbers.
  10. True. Maybe come back for like the last 2-3 games and hopefully show he is all better?
  11. Zero benefit for him to play this year for a terrible Bengals team. Sit out and let his ankle heal. He will get a deal from somebody when he is healed up.
  12. I’m looking at the previous production on Cleveland and it’s not there this year. I hope it stays that way. I just don’t want to see Cleveland get out to a lead. Granted Kitchens is no Doug Pederson. I don’t fear the play calling abilities with Cleveland, but they have play makers on offense and defense. I hope the Bills beat the Browns soundly, but not counting on it. I believe my eyes more than stats. Stats are helpful but not the only thing. If it was just about stats anyone who can read them would be good at coaching or scouting or picking players.
  13. Cleveland has more talent but is probably the least disciplined team. To many personalities, not a great HC. I am just speaking talent. Now the other piece is coaching and playing with each other. If the Browns has the same attitude and culture as the Bills, they would be undefeated and probably SB contenders.
  14. Tennessee has no where near the same talent as Cleveland. I was at the Tenn game.
  15. Because they probably won’t. Dallas has a great O line and an amazing running back. What about that makes you think our defense can have a good day? not to mention our offense has a tough time scoring.
  16. I hear ya. You are right, I was kind of responding to the other poster. Bills aren’t favored for a reason, they have yet to win a tough game. This game will be tough on the road.
  17. The last time the Bills were favored big and everyone here said it was a gimme was Miami. That game was a fight. If the Bills play like that they get blown out by Cleveland. Cleveland has so much more talent. I don’t feel any game the Bills play is a gimme.
  18. Record says the Bills should win this game. Cleveland has a ton of talent with very little discipline. The Browns are capable of beating the Bills IF the Bills don’t play smart and execute. I can see this game both ways. Bills win by playing good fundamentals or Browns get a couple early gifts and ride the emotions to a win.
  19. Good point, but we need the run defense to be a little more than a speed bump.
  20. You do bring up a good point, we don’t know exactly how much input McDermott has. My gut from watching the games is Sean appears to be following along on play calling during the offense with a head set and play sheet. I don’t recall seeing him do this in past seasons, I can be 100% wrong. My connecting of dots thinks that Sean does prefer Vets at times to the unproven rookies, Singletary and Knox for example. There could be multiple reasons why, one being, snap count management for rookies. Is the HC asking for Gore in short yardage? After last week I hope Daboll and McDermott saw enough to believe Singletary needs to be the go to guy and Gore is the breather back.
  21. I’ve been watching football for 40 years and played for 10 years. My biggest gripe with Daboll is his use of personnel. Example-using DiMarco on a 30 yard wheel route down the sideline where Patrick would of had to make an over the shoulder catch. I have never seen DiMarco make a catch like this ever, and I live in Atlanta and watch the Falcons a ton. As for his play calling it’s frustrating at times to watch him not abandon something a little sooner when it isn’t working, the Gore short yardage is becoming ineffective. On the flip side not using Beasley more has been a head scratcher. While Daboll isn’t the worst out there he also isn’t the best. I still don’t like him becoming so emotional while trying to coach Josh during the game. Daboll isn’t going anywhere for this season so I hope he gets better as he learns all what everyone is good at. I do give Daboll a bit of a pass because he is working with so many new players on offense.
  22. This says to me that the defense is ahead of the offense so far under a third year coach. not shocking given the coach is from a defensive back ground. Also get the defense fixed, draft a QB, sign FA’s while QB is on rookie deal. Make a run at winning a SB. Kinda the way Seattle did it.
  23. The players and coaches know they have beaten teams they should beat. The team knows it has a lot to work on, things that can be fixed this season and some things that need personnel moves after the season. 6-2 is a great step and hopefully we get a playoff appearance this year. They should enjoy the wins, but not lose focus on what they are right now. The Bills are a team that has to play a near perfect game to beat the best teams in the league. They are building a team that will be getting better and contending for a few years at least.
  24. Good, they were terrible and I was uncomfortable lying to my in-laws about the meaning for the song that went ‘if I hit it two times...’.
