If Foster Starts Rolling This Team Is Beyond Dangerous
atlbillsfan1975 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Foster and Kroft are two guys I can see having big games down the stretch. Foster seems to be working the crossing routes finally. Something I think he can excel at, In particular deep crossing where DB’s think he is going on a fly and he cuts across. Allen can flick his wrist and the ball travels 20 yards in a flash. This offense has the makings to be deadly. -
I really hope so. Would be nice watching A Belichick melt down on the same weekend I got to see a Saban one. If the Texans don’t beat themselves with turnovers or bad special teams play they have a real shot.

Bills need to limit explosive plays. Jackson struggled today in the red zone when the field was shorter and everything speeds up a little more. Tucker is a great field goal kicker so he won’t be missing any from inside 50 yards unless weather is atrocious. Lamar is playing great nobody can deny that. What happens in 3-5 years from now doesn’t matter to next week. i’m glad Leslie and Sean get a couple extra days to draw up some schemes that maybe Lamar hasn’t seen or they have found some Lamar hasn’t seen yet. Baltimore D continually allowed SF to get the edge on running plays. This opened the middle of the field up for passing. SF looked good except for Shanahan making a few questionable decisions. SF D is really good and they have better D ends than the Bills do. Other than that I think Buffalo is equal or better talent wise on D.

looks like Doug Marrone is done in Jville

I like Caldwell and know he will land somewhere. He has been a part of helping build three different winning teams. The time has come for Coughlin to maybe step away from an active roll in an organization. Marrone might want to head back to college. -

Yep, looks like he hit his hand on the Steelers players hand. Bent the thumb back pretty far. -
Bored - Offseason Speculation

Cut DiMarco, Lee Smith, and Yeldon and save $5m . Don’t resign Gore save $2m activate Sweeney next year for games draft a running back in mid rounds and sign a FA running back like Dion Lewis out of Tenn. Would still save probably near $4m and not have silly penalties by Lee Smith. -
This Sunday's AFC games may HELP the Bills!

I really hope Houston doesn’t give up cheap points to the Pats like a blocked punt. Pats have been a very opportunistic team this year. They Pats need teams to make mistakes for a victory. I think any team that makes the playoffs will be able to beat the Pats if they play a clean game. -
Next year I’d bring Gore back as a third back and draft one in the mid rounds. I’d cut DiMarco.
-
For this year Gore is the second best running back on the team. I don’t think that will be the case next year.

Lets Pick the Final Four Games

I want to see how they play against Baltimore. I think it’s a good matchup for the Bills. The Bills finally have the talent to beat anyone in the league. It’s really going to be about game plan and execution and in game adjustments from here on out. -
Impressed by the 4th Quarter Game Defining Drive
atlbillsfan1975 replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Got to agree OP. After watching a ton of Bills games I never have a complete level of comfort until our guys are in the victory formation. That 4 th quarter drive sealed it for sure. Demoralized the Cowboys. The Bills pushes them around. HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!! -
2019 Playoffs. 1st round

I like everything you have here with one minor adjustment. Colts beat Chiefs and then beats Pats. AFC championship game is in Buffalo. hey you said homer!! -
Trent Dilfer hit the nail on the head. I was exactly like him immediately after we drafted Josh Allen. I was like ‘crap’ because all I knew was what some national media members had put out about his accuracy at Wyoming. Then I spent a the next 24 hours learning about Josh and watching college tape. I then believed the kid was going to be good. Josh can be as great as the coaching around him. I say that because Josh wants to learn and knows he needs coaches to help him. Josh has the perfect amount of ego and confidence to go with football IQ and god given talent. sky is the limit for this kid. He’s putting it together and this offense has a chance to be scary good. And this was suppose to be the ‘growth‘ year with next year and the year after that being the ‘win now’ years.

Everything is ‘look at me’ for this generation of players. I don’t connect with it because it’s exactly the opposite of what was valued when I played into college. It’s not wrong, just different. Constant contact due to social media has changed a lot of old behaviors. I think if Sean had a problem with it, it would stop.

Either way, Oliver is showing improvement. Oliver is a hustler who wants to succeed. You match that with his physical talent and he is going to be special.

The loss and the way the Bills lost to Cleveland might end up being the best thing that could of happened for McDermott and the Bills. -
