  1. I know some people here have wanted to run Kroft out of town, and I can understand why. I still believe Kroft is the most complete TE on this roster right now. Knox can be better eventually, but it will take time. A healthy Kroft who is finally getting enough practice time with Allen is showing what he can do. Let’s hope Kroft STAYS healthy for this playoff run. He could help provide another much needed playmaker for Josh and this offense.
  2. That is a great stat. For me a combination of a few things. Their opponents level of offensive production. As the year has gone on the Pats offense has been less productive. The Bills D was the first to show Brady isn’t the same. Unlike previous years Brady hasn’t had a bounce back game and put up a dominant game winning performance. He can’t. Teams don’t have to respect the Pats offense so they can attack the Pats defense. The Pats defense isn’t elite as was reported early on. Personally, outside of Gilmore none of their defenders have elite talent. Which is fine if the unit plays as one, and doesn’t face a team with game changing talent. lamar, Mahomes, and Watson all had great games against NE and made the D look average, at best. The longer the season has gone on teams are finding weaknesses in the Pats D. Belichick is a master at scheming a D to take away the one thing you do best. I have to think he is going to try and take Singletary away and Josh’s runs. I’d love to watch Josh look like Brady in his prime. Josh hitting Beasley, Knox, and Brown on short routes. Then hit one up top Foster. The Bills can beat the Pats and should beat them. Win the turnover battle, play good special teams and don’t give the Pats offense a short field.
  3. Peter King loves Belichick. The two of them are historians of the game. I think Peter worked a lot harder earlier on in his career but lately his tales seem mediocre. I don’t dislike King but also don’t see him as someone who can provide me with any insight on the Bills. He does help promote and call attention to things we all already know about the Bills to a wider range of football fans. We can see his analysis of facts as jabs or just being ‘it is what it is’. I think most of us here feel that the Beane and McDermott area are going to force the NFL to pay attention to Buffalo once again. I ultimately feel like the ultimate respect will come once we win our Super Bowl. Something I see happening in the near future.
  4. I don’t think any win is going to be easy in the playoffs. im also a little concerned about our secondary play outside of Tre’. Houston has 3-4 wide receivers who are very talented, with Hopkins being elite. They don’t have a scary running back but Watson can make plays with his legs if he needs to. their defense is not great but let’s be honest the Bills offense isn’t a touchdown machine consistently. I think the Bills can win but I’m by no means thinking it’s a cake walk.
  5. I believe he was checking with security to make sure he hadn’t spotted Belichick on the Pittsburgh sideline in drag.
  6. Don’t stop Believin’ by Journey? Everyone knows the words and feel like the chorus could come in handy if behind in any games.
  7. He was at the game last night in drag. Made his way onto the sideline from what I hear.
  8. Make the Pats go on long drives of 75 yards. Make Brady throw to anyone really, he is below average at this point in the season and the colder it is the worse he plays. Hit him early and often. I wouldn’t mind a 15 yard personal foul hit on him early that sends the message, ‘you are getting hit tonight old man’. Rush four guys and pressure Brady with four, sprinkle in some blitzes. Block everyone on punt team. Don’t throw up Duck balls for Gilmore to pick off. Someone better hit Jonathan Jones hard for the Allen play. Pound the rock down their throats. Allen and Beasley have a big night. Brady is crying at halftime and yelling at people. Belichick breaks his tablet because he can’t cheat his way to another SB.
  9. That’s going to be such a fun game to go to! This might be my crews travel game!
  10. Honestly because we have the better team and it’s time for NE to fade away. Brady is done and they just really are living in teams minds of teams past. Bills play their game and take care of the Pats. I’ve been beating the drum all year that NE isn’t that good anymore. They win with smoke and mirrors. Next year the Pats won’t win 8 games.
  11. Yep, get up by a few scores and then you can get conservative. It takes one miracle play to tie the game up last night. And make no mistake, Duck was throwing up prayers in the 4 quarter.
  12. For sure needs to tighten that part of his game up. That will be the only thing standing between him and a top back for years to come. I think he can get better at it. I wonder if this was something that was happening in Training camp and practice early in the year. Might of been another contributing factor for why Gore was getting more touches to begin with.
  13. Dudes! ? .5 less of a point spread from week four in Buffalo. I hope Buffalo goes out there and plays a complete game and whips NE and shows everyone what we know the future is, no more NE dominance. A loss also could mean KC moves into the 2nd seed. This is big because every game you can see Tom’s production slipping. An extra game is the final nail in their SB chances for a long time.
  14. It’s McDermott’s style. Sean believes in his Defense to win him games. Sean saw that Duck wasn’t going to win that game. I agree it’s frustrating to watch and it cost the Bills the Cleveland game. My hope is Sean will adjust and get more aggressive when needed.
  15. Not all in Josh. Beasley got his hands on the ball. I give Josh a B and that’s grading on a curve for what the win meant. Josh, play calling, and receivers need to all improve. one minor play in particular that I’d love to see the coaches work on with Josh is the pass in the flat to the rb coming out of the backfield. Josh needs to let the end come up field more and allow his back to get a little more space. Small thing but saw it last night and last week.
  16. Glad you are here. i was your age when I went to the Bills Super Bowl in Pasadena. I watched a bunch of those 90’s teams with my dad. A little bit of advice, keep watching as many games as you can with your dad, you will be glad you did one day.
  17. Got to agree. Right now Bills are focusing everything on the Pats as they should be. Division is in play and the 2 seed is as well. From a confidence standpoint, I think it would be huge to beat the Pats in NE on national TV in a meaningful game. McDermott is all about psychology and mindset. Love to go into the playoffs 12-4.
  18. Well it kind of does. If you don’t win on the road and you lose some home games, you don’t get to go to Houston in the playoffs. I echo what others have said, Allen appears to get to emotional for home games early on. Allen played at Wyoming for less than 30,000 fans. Big adjustment going to the pros and stadiums of 70,000+ . He will settle down and get there.
  19. Duck wasn’t good. Personally ever play he made last night that was positive any QB playing in the NFL could make. there are roughly 64 QB’s on active rosters. Every year over 100 QB’s graduate from D1 programs. Every pass I saw Duck make, anyone of those quarterbacks with college arms could of made.
  20. You are right, my bad. Got it mixed up with the Kroft TD Drive.
  21. Collinsworth thought it was a pass too. I am on vacation and the TV doesn’t have rewind here. If it was a pass, that was getting to cute to close to the end zone. They did redeem themselves on the next play. edit, my bad. Got that mixed up with the Kroft TD Drive.
  22. First Phillips is a complete Jekyll and Hyde. On the field he plays like a wrecking ball and off the field he is calm, well spoken, and another good team guy. I want Phillips back but not sure it can happen with the money tied up with Star for next year. I also wonder if Harrison had stayed healthy how many sacks he would have now. Harrison seemed as if he was just coming into his own early this season before the knee gave out. That’s another concern, do the Bills hope Harrison’s knees hold up? Beane will make the right call, he has so far.
  23. Just sign him this offseason. Don’t exercise the option and all that bologna. Lock him up, show how much you value homegrown great talent.
