Duke Williams played more snaps than Cole Beasley
atlbillsfan1975 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hear ya. I think they believed Foster was going to develop, not really sure what happened there. They are just a few pieces away. A big physical WR is one of them. I am wondering if Beane will draft one in the first round. Since Sean became HC the Bills have gone heavy D in the first. I don’t think they can go wrong picking a WR or Edge rusher this next draft in the first. -

exactly right. Duke is an average speed large wide receiver. He did show that Allen will benefit from a big physical WR. I think this will get addressed this offseason. -

We also have to keep an eye on Keke Coutee. He is no Fuller either but still can have an impact. -

Bills at Texans Playoff Game, Saturday 4:35 pm
atlbillsfan1975 replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep, Kind of how I feel about them. Houston is such a streaky team. Watson is a gamer. Nobody beats Saban that isn’t a gamer. I think Deshaun is going to have a solid game. The offense will need to score 25+. Bills can’t let JJ make some play early which Houston takes as some kind of sign. I don’t think JJ is fully healthy but if he gets a sack or makes some play his presence will take on a bigger meaning. McDermott and Daboll have to play aggressive. Watson can score quick. Being up in the 3rd quarter doesn’t mean anything. Bills need a game like Dallas. -
Tre White Officially Named AP All-Pro

The one position the Bills know how to draft is cornerback. Not saying it’s the only one, but they can pick good corners. Leodis might be the worst one they drafted in the first two rounds over the past 30 years. He was still good not great. -
Smoke vs Hopkins stats this year
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Da webster guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is when you step away from the paper and turn on the film. Jon Brown is a very good player Hopkins is a great player. One years worth of stats doesn’t not tell the entire story. -
Lots of memories watching him as the Bengals coach. Sad to see him pass.

Brady not thinking about possible final game with Pats
atlbillsfan1975 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That’s what I mean. One complete full detailed thread AFTER Tom retires. Put it in chronological order. btw, don’t you think it’s odd the Belichick knows these little loop holes in the rule book? It’s because he is trying to figure out what he can get away with. People say it makes him an innovator or genius, I think it points to a guy so consumed with winning he will do anything. He has proven as has Brady they will cross the line. -

Agreed. I think when Brady retires we need to put a thread together that outlines every single known violation over the past 20 years. It should include Players suspended for PED’s to Videotape scandals to tampering of footballs and Bob Krafts antics. And ask how during that period of time does any other team in the NFL stack up to the Pats record. It’s easy to see why they have so many wins. They cheat more than anyone. -

He’s going to retire. Someone eventually will. No way that all the cheating and illegal activities we know about and they have been punished for, isn’t just the tip of the iceberg. The fact people revere Bill Belichick after he was found guilty of cheating, something I don’t recall Parcells or Walsh or heck pretty much any other coach, is mind boggling. -
I don’t think the Bills were ready to draft a QB in 2017. I know that may sound silly, but I really think Beane and McDermott wanted to build a team together. Beane wasn’t drafting players in 2017. I do believe Beane and McDermott knew 2018 would have some very good QB talent as well. Watson played at Clemson and played against the best competition in the country twice against Bama. Watson beat Nick Saban the second time around. Watson is a gamer. No doubt about it. I think Watson is a finished product. I don’t think he will get much better than what he is now. Watson also has an offensive minded HC who has surrounded Watson with great WR’s and other pieces on the offense. Allen is in his second season of facing major talent. Allen is in his first season of being surrounded by competent talent on offense. I don’t think we know what Allen’s ceiling is yet. I think Watson and Allen will have great careers. I wouldn’t be surprised if both of them win a SB and an MVP.

The reason Knox has drop issues
atlbillsfan1975 replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Very true. They had him running routes that honestly the QB was never going to progress too. He was rarely the 1st read. -
The reason Knox has drop issues
atlbillsfan1975 replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Really the problem at Ole Miss was he didn’t have a good QB. Very run heavy offense, he was asked to block more than catch. -
This is kind of where I am at as well. it’s going to be a tough game. Baring Allen getting hurt, I don’t think the Bills will get blown out. I believe the Bills can win and can beat anyone in the playoffs. Buffalo is one of the few teams that has not been blown out all year. Eagles game was the worst loss and the Bills were still in that game in the 4th quarter. For me I want a victory, I would love to see one and think it will help with the progress of this team. Depending on how the Bills lose, if they lose, I wouldn’t think it’s the end of the world. I also wouldn’t doubt the process and what I am seeing. Houston at home and looking relatively healthy is going to be tough. Our guys can do it but it won’t be easy.

Richie Incognito extended by Raiders
atlbillsfan1975 replied to JoeF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they should definitely sign Spain to a three year deal for what you are suggesting. I think Spain has played pretty much every snap. I think Spain and Dawkins have done a very good job on the left side. Lock them up. I think $7-8mil a year for a good guard is the going rate. Counter point is they let Spain walk, and find another FA who wants a prove it deal. This buys the Bills another year to see if Ford can progress. Then they can sign Feliciano to an extension next year. -
Nsekhe, Shaq and Roberts all Practicing today.
atlbillsfan1975 replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder if what happened in the game wasn’t a scare more than a real injury. The exact type of play occurred where he got rolled up from behind. Maybe a mental scare. Either way glad he was practicing and hope he is a full go Saturday.
