  1. That makes him a situational/third down back not an every down back which is why they trying to sign Bell.
  2. 3.11 ypc versus the Raiders. The zone totally neutralizes Singletary. He can’t beat the second level once run is read.
  3. There seems to be a consensus that Singletary has gone from emerging superstar to bust. The tape does not lie. He has looked easy to handle basically all year.
  4. Pretty funny stuff. It made me think the whole team decided to give themselves night off v. the titans now they they have a Superhero at QB who can win the game by himself.
  5. Knox would be a perfect player to allocate to your NFL Europe roster and bring him back after the drops stop. The cost is just too high to continue with the Knox experiment in real games that count.
  6. Beane has lost his magic touch in terms of picking up DL free agents who can play. What happens when we are on Allen’s second contract and there is no money at all.
  7. Yeldon had the best game of any Bill tonight. We have not looked that competent in short yardage in a while and throw in the touchdown.
  8. Has signing a top free agent running back ever worked for anyone. It’s always better to split the reps in a running back by committee at lower cost and keep the defense guessing rather than bog the offense down with an official number one guy who has a certain number of guaranteed touches. Look at the Rams return to form this year.
  9. We may see a level of tanking that is unmistakable in December. Lawrence is a generational can’t miss number one like an Elway or Luck.
  10. Still holds the NFL record for consecutive 50+ yard made kicks. Great power kicker record. Now he can’t reach the goal posts.
  11. He’s already muddled the draft standing of the Dolphins this year and last. I’m hoping he somehow gets traded back to the jets this year so they can’t draft Lawrence.
  12. There’s a new leader in the league MVP race
  13. Probably would go with Tyrod if you have to win one game. But if you are building a franchise it’s Fitz by a mile. With Fitz in there you can develop a receiving corps. He’s very good at feeding the ball to top tier or emerging receivers and giving them chances to make plays. Tyrod will only throw it to you if he sees you wide open.
  14. Hope the cowboys do the right thing with Dak. He’s a great player.
  15. How Zay jonesesque can you get. He just cannot make a play.
  16. Hauschka 0/2 including missed 24 yarder! Dodged a bullet there.
  17. Can reevaluate again after Josh wins a league MVP and Super Bowl MVP.
  18. Jim Kelly is a first ballot hall of game quarterback with a rocket arm who played his entire career in the same stadium and same winds as Josh Allen. He ran the most innovative offense of his era and is the last quarterback in NFL history to call his own plays. The team certainly should be reaching out to schedule meetings with Jim Kelly.
  19. Let’s face it they blew it by not taking Metcalf as did all other teams save one. Could have been the freak measurable QB teamed up with the freak measurable WR for a decade.
  20. The current Sunday Night game for 10/18 is West Coast so they can make a Sunday night double header 7:30 (Bills) and 10pm starts.
  21. Really good golfer, 3 handicap
  22. Allen has carried Dabol. Not concerned.
  23. Allen carried Dabol. Sam might evolve into a reliable starter but he’s not Josh Allen.
  24. Isn’t it nice not to think “He might be an upgrade to...”
  25. His first start v. The Chargers. Could not complete a pass or make a first down or do anything the first half but he never got rattled. He just stayed calm and kept processing and thinking. The chargers found themselves in a ballgame by the late third. Later his rookie year he threw a pick six versus the dolphins at home. The dolphins scored but not before Josh tracked down the DB and made a massive tomahawk chop at the ball. That showed me how much he hates to lose. As another poster said the loss on the road v the dolphins his rookie year. Still learning how to play the position but that did not stop him from putting the whole franchise on his back to try to win that game.
