Looks like John Brown was released
Charles Romes replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Will have a lot of interest as a viable 2/3 WR threat if healthy. -
WR, Isaiah Hodgins - Where does he fit?
Charles Romes replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s been commonplace to kick John Brown around on this board but part of me still thinks that he’s the missing piece if he’s totally healthy. -
productivity of older pass rushers - Jerry Hughes

Bruce’s longevity not discussed enough. Dominated his last game as a Bill at 36, 2.5 sacks v the Titans January 2000. -
What’s josh worth then? 55?

Christian Wade, will we ever see him?
Charles Romes replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They ought to up they ante and require one active game day player slot be filled with a non-Canadian foreign born player. Then a player like wade could get some snaps in garbage time and move up from there. Teams would be scouring the planet to extract value from the rule. -
Only 2 teams put in requests to interview Daboll
Charles Romes replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think people are seeing it’s more Allen than Daboll. -
We should not re-sign him but it’s not Yeldon’s fault. This is maybe the one player the team could have treated more fairly. He certainly deserved more playing time especially the way Singletary played. He was our best player in the blowout loss to the Titans (3/3 in short yardage) and then was benched the rest of the year. His incredible grab in the AFCCG kept us in it for another half quarter. He deserves another offer from the Bills but it’s senseless to give him one because the relationship is broken.

Carson Wentz to the Colts

Worth the risk to land a possible franchise QB. As we know you can swing and miss for decades. -
Watching the games it seemed the Texans allowed Watt to do what he wanted to do which is rush the passer every single play so that he could build up his sack stats. Consequently, the Texans were constantly getting gashed with the run to Watts side as Watt continued his move to the backfield. Back in the day I remember they would try to run to Bruce’s side and Bruce would stop on a dime and spin back to stuff the run. JJ is no Bruce.

Mcshay Mock has Najee Harris to Buffalo

You don’t need to spend a first rounder on a running back. You can get a good one in the third. -
Watson vs Allen.
Charles Romes replied to Marvlevydraftdaygenius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Most underrated stat, sack percentage: Watson 9.1 playing with franchise left tackle Allen 6.4 (4.3 in 2020) all time career leader, Rob Johnson with a staggering 14.8 -
Watson vs Allen.
Charles Romes replied to Marvlevydraftdaygenius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watson is good but not at Allen’s level. Allen has a stronger arm and is a better runner. Allen senses the pocket better and is more likely to survive against a great pass rush. Josh needs good but not franchise level tackles to be successful, so he reduces OL costs significantly relative to Watson. -
You have to consider the overall organization culture transformation when he signed. No other QB could have done that. Yes he got a bunch of Jordan calls during the game as well which were critical, but he showed enough game during the regular season that he kept getting the Jordan calls. If he was throwing nothing like ducks like he did v the saints mid-season the Jordan calls would have stopped. The league would have put him out to pasture if he could not still play.

Defenses led Brady to his last two rings
Charles Romes replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brady was smart enough to go somewhere that was just missing decent but not great QB play. Have to give Brady credit for going out and recruiting fournette and turning him into a team player. -
Would the Bills have beaten the Bucs?

Fisher going down skewed everything.
