  1. As much as I hate to admit it that was some performance by Mahomes in his first start in the post-Tyreek era.
  2. The DB covering the Giants receiver was totally shocked that Jones would try to throw it deep.
  3. I don’t understand how Daniel Jones was given this many years to demonstrate he’s not at best a backup. Its like watching Trent Edwards right before he was released as the starter. Hard to watch. At least could have taken a low cost flyer (a third) for Malik to not waste the entire year.
  4. In the Simms interview Josh said he has been focusing on underthrowing a bit when he has someone deep down field so as to assure a chance for a completion. In his bad long ball year of 2019 all the deep throws were overthrown. Now he’s connecting deep down field virtually every game. The difference is Tua is not trying to underthrow. He just can’t get it there.
  5. The good news is that Beane has been worrying about this as well and already has a succession plan in place.
  6. What now has over 1990 is that there are an infinite amount of sports talk media outlets to relive the victory with, stretching out the opportunities to bask in the glory. In ‘90 you just had ESPN Primetime, the low budget CNN sports hour, and the USA Today which was always sold out. I still have 12 videos to go from my “Bills Rams” YouTube search and they keep posting new ones faster than I can watch.
  7. Makes no sense. If they wanted 17 they could have dealt Russ for any of the picks 2-6.

  9. he actually had a great hold on the field goal. Snap way high and right and he brought it in.
  10. Rams have 130 yards after 3. 79 for Kupp
  11. Meniscus tears can be very nasty and the damage can be permanent. I don’t know why these are seen as minor.
  12. Josh had four bad games last year which were on him. His stats also took a huge hit because he played in 3-4 wind games at home, the pats being just ridiculous.
  13. Josh has already been getting the Brady calls the last two years. See v the Rams in 2020 and at home v the Dolphins 2021. I don’t see the Browns getting any calls for the foreseeable future.
  14. Bruce Smith was defensive player of the year at 33 and at 34 second in dpoy voting. We will be okay if Von has similar production at that age.
  15. Add AJ Klein to the list of Bills regulars the rest of the league has no interest in. With one Telling exception Beane has been great at cutting bait.
  16. Lynch will still make the Hall but if drafted into a better situation would have been known as an all time great. He had it all, including the softest hands which were underutilized throughout his career.
  17. Second oldest player in the league
  18. Just as long as I know when I need to avoid Collinsworth
  19. I think Beane sees old guys who can still play as being undervalued by the competition.
  20. whos to say the one that was blocked was not martins fault. Maybe he held it at too upright an angle causing the kicker to kick it too low. Pass.
  21. Giants are not about to neglect special teams to sign Hodgjns. Special teams are the easiest way to move up from the league bottom.
  22. It’s unfathomable how he and Stevenson could be drafted in the same range.
  23. Kickers do NOT want to play for good teams. They want to make $2M-$4M a year in complete obscurity without anyone noticing for as long as possible and they never want to be the cause of a loss anyone cares about. They especially like indoor stadiums where they can rack up stats.
  24. Falcons, Jets, and maybe Miami, wk3+, Giants wk2+ as well. That’s the only explanation, that he likes the backup job. Billy Volek is the only other QB I can recall who favored being a backup over starter opportunities.
