With Allen, can the Bills de-emphasize skill positions?
Charles Romes replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
We’ve been getting killed because the other guys have a franchise QB AND two other-worldly pass catchers. -
Offseason Trade Prediction: We acquire Saquan
Charles Romes replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Saquon can’t even run anymore, as far as I can tell. -
Gronk coming home for his final season makes sense, but it will take targets away from Dawson Knox.

Probably would still be in it with Godwin and AB. Rodgers my take his place in the easy QB deficient division.

I have been using this as a coping mechanism. In the modern NFL 30 second, 25 second, 21 second FG drives with timeouts in pocket have become routine. So…maybe 13 is not so bad after all. Then I think through it some more and become even more disgusted at what happened and I want heads to roll within the organization.

Beane anticipates Cole Beasley being back next season
Charles Romes replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
How much better our God at QB can make anyone look has to be the primary factor. -
KC cruising to the title would cement the legacy of what some are calling the “greatest game ever” and also the stature of the Bills as the league’s second best team. Yet, the thought of them celebrating is sickening.

Is Super Bowl victory or bust realistic?
Charles Romes replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Winning the Super Bowl from where we are now is closer than where we are now is from where we once were. -
Post-Beatdown Belichick Locker Room Visit?
Charles Romes replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought that mcD ended their relationship with the long pass to Knox to set up the 7th straight TD. -
Would NE do Mac Jones + picks for Watson?
Charles Romes replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
With Watson you also have to sell the farm to invest in franchise tackles. He does not have elite pocket mobility and does not afford the luxury of reasonably priced tackles like Josh. Not worried about Watson. -
He’s the reason we don’t have to deal with Brady anymore in the division. Brady stays if Fitz doesn’t beat him week 17 in ‘19.

We witnessed the first perfect game -
Had the team play with pride many weeks in spite of having no viable front office or plan.

What’s the point of even having one. Ravens lost 6 straight with theirs, Seahawks 4 straight.

Should Something Be Done To Fix The Pro Bowl?
Charles Romes replied to ndirish1978's topic in The Stadium Wall
I loved it the week after the Super Bowl. They should go back to that - it was helpful to the weaning off process. With all the talking heads in the business now they could easily turn the booth conversations during the unwatchable game into a Free Agency preview spectacular regarding the off-season goals of the various players and teams. -

If the Colts lose to the Jaguars on Sunday...
Charles Romes replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Madden’s Raiders in 1976 had a chance late in the season to retain the #1 seed and jettison the Steelers from playoffs. The two time defending champion Steelers were the hottest team in NFL history at the time, yielding a total of 28 points over 9 games. All Madden needed to do was lose to the Bengals and the Steelers would be gone. Instead Madden blew out the Bengals and then the Steelers in the AFC championship game. The point is, you play to win the game. -
Interesting that three of those worst games were at Hymark stadium which is notoriously tough to throw in, even when the weather seems OK. In addition to the winds, there used to be a huge crown on the field as well but I think they softened it.
