  1. KC reminds me of the 2009 Patriots. A parody of its former self.
  2. This game created the strategy of running the clock down to 2 or 3 seconds. Before this game, the common wisdom was to preserve downs and time in the event of a bad snap.
  3. Having Josh Allen allows you to put up 30 points without max contract franchise Olinemen. You can’t pay for or have everything.
  4. If anything Darnold is regressing back into the Jets version of himself.
  5. Thirded for organized crime. Great organizational D and lots of thievery, fits with bills mafia. Highly productive poster time by BB there.
  6. All GMs/managing coaches have visions. It has been shocking how many visions of McBeane have come to fruition with a cost sensitive strategy. I love how McBeane will adopt a multifaceted strategy to address a position which includes value free agents, draft picks, and mass competition.
  7. Brilliant v the ravens in the playoffs. Did not have the personnel to do much v the chiefs in ‘20. This year he does.
  8. Beane never stops and smells the roses. He works for all of us every day.
  9. Interesting topic. I’m pretty sure Wood, Murphy, Brown, Tasker, Glab etc. would be fired for criticizing the Bills. It’s embarrassing how positive the Bills coverage is on the Bills network. I’ve been impressed overall at how much freedom the NFL network announcers, Warner, Mcginnest, GMF etc to criticize the NFL. Shows savvy by the NFL, they know their viewers would turn elsewhere for unbiased reporting. Sometimes it’s almost as if the NFL network announcers have been mandated to criticize the NFL.
  10. Josh told him he is great and he’s becoming great. Get used to Josh making stars over the next 15 years.
  11. I thank god every day that they drafted Tua over Herbert.
  12. and when jets are really really bad you can go to a bills-jets game at the meadowlands for like $5 a ticket. Giants tix bottom out at $100 no matter how bad they are.
  13. Bills plan for Allen year one was bad, the roster was too bare to do anything. At least they had the sense to rest him and pick up a Derek Anderson off street. I don’t see the Jets even doing something like that.
  14. Josh was obviously frazzled and a different guy playing in front of a full crowd for the first time in two years. I think Daboll felt he needed to incorporate runs by Josh in order to get Josh into the game and switch him from overthinking mode into react mode. It seemed to work for the one drive before the half. Daboll did this a lot in 2019 when Josh came out too amped-up.
  15. Am I the only one that thinks Yeldon was not terrible. Has not received a call from anyone
  16. I can’t believe they kept Norwood into 1991. Not only was he putrid, they needed a whole additional roster spot - on a super bowl contender - for a kickoff specialist. this was one of my favorite games as a fan. Nothing went our way, it looked like a loss… but just keep hanging in there.
  17. four that stood out for me are 1 Bruce Smith (88-97) 2 LT (83-87) 3 Ray Lewis (98-03) 4 JJ Watt (Defensive MVP years) - hate to admit it, because I find him unlikable.
  18. Davis Webb had a perfect preseason IMO. Could not have hit the sweet spot of performance any better. Entrenched himself as a totally viable emergency option, but not a threat to land on another team’s 53.
  19. After years of trying everything to get a cost effective 3, 4, or 5 on the roster, I nearly wept when I saw what Gabe could do in early 2020.
  20. Even when Stevenson has not had a great return he has tracked the ball well and caught it well. Sure, strong hands.
