(Rumor) Drew Brees hinting at a comeback
Charles Romes replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
For a guy who could not throw 5 yards downfield, his stats were amazing his last year. If his arm healed a little, he’d probably be a top 10 qb in 2022 as much as I just want him stay stay retired. -
I don’t know why I thought it would be possible to catch the Browns early in the season with Brissett at QB. That’s not going to happen when you’re a must-see team.

Marv Levy singing the Bills fight song he wrote titled "Go Bills"

He’s almost 97 and sharp as a tack. Not going to question it. -
Well they just announced Titans at bills Monday night week 2. A mini bye after week one???

Drafted one pick after Von. Earned a $100M contract, pulled a Haynesworth, and miraculously Beane sold the contract to the Jags for a 5th, which was the beginning of the end for the Jags as a one year contender.

We exhausted everything KC had, and they swooped in and took advantage. Everyone knows this, that’s why they have no respect.

Doesn’t have much short range burst when you look at the tape. Seems a little Sillsian -
Great. The one good player left in the NFC.

It’s impossible to “hide” a McDermott developmental DB. That’s the first place you look for a cheap serviceable DB now. -
Poll: How would you grade the Bills overall draft?
Charles Romes replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
From pro football network: In addition to rushing and pass-catching ability, the NFL evaluates running backs on their ability to block. Cook is an extremely willing blocker both in pass protection and as a run blocker. He’s routinely tasked with chip blocking, and there were multiple examples of him getting out in front and blocking downfield in the games studied. Furthermore, he routinely looks for work in this regard, demonstrating a level of football intelligence. -
Kay Adams leaving NFL Network for Amazon

Not 80 but I did hear these announcers sometimes make shockingly small coin. -
Maybin (Penn State) was picked when Russ Brandon actually had the title of GM, and I really think Brandon himself made the pick to market the team to northern PA, just like he was marketing the team to Rochester with the training camp and to the Golden Horseshoe with the Toronto series.

McDermott’s greatest skill is finding free help in the secondary. No worries. One of two late rounds picks at corner will be serviceable.

Who is Your Favorite NFL Football TV Announcer of All Time ?
Charles Romes replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
Facenda no one else is really close. -
Hall seems to have great hands but when I watch the tape he does not seem to be taking it North and South or breaking many tackles at the line of scrimmage. He seems to be barely breaking away from the college defenders which translates to not breaking away at the next level.

No, but it it sickens me that by far Mahomes’ two best games the last two years were v. the Bills in the playoffs.
-
so you missed tannehill’s playoff game against the Bengals?

Beane rolled the dice that showing the elite goods for one single year was enough, and was proved right. Benefit of the bargain to the Bills and Beane.

Best Bills Games Ever (Top Five)
Charles Romes replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Week 16 1990 Date: December 23 Location: Rich Stadium Referee: Red Cashion TV announcers (NBC): Marv Albert and Paul Maguire The Bills, under backup quarterback Frank Reich, defeated the Miami Dolphins and wrapped up the AFC East title. Reich connected with James Loftonand Andre Reed for touchdowns, ultimately winning 24–14 despite fourteen penalties to five for Miami. -
Says he’s played with a lot of great receivers and thinks Gabe is pro bowl caliber, and is going to break out this year. Says he’s not signing with any team until later in the off-season if at all. Wants to be fair to any team that signs him. Says he has standards to adhere to in terms of his own play. Is monitoring the progress of his knee before he decides on 2022. Considers Bills Super Bowl favorite, Josh MVP favorite.

Video: Von Miller Behind the Scenes of Free Agency
Charles Romes replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
yes, slightly overpaid, but Von knows this, and knows there is only one reason the Bills made this offer. I think the overpayment will increase Von’s level of commitment to extend his HOF career and be worth it.
