    Maybe the OP didn’t have to live through two decades of some certain player in our division getting every single call. Every call he gets it’s completely earned IMO by the way he has played the game. I celebrate every flag without apology. It’s part of the territory of being one of the league’s greatest players.

    NBC had rights to all the AFC games and CBS had rights to all the NFC games. The only exception was when there was an inter-conference matchup. NBC would cover inter-conference games hosted by an NFC team, and CBS would cover inter-conference games hosted by an AFC team. That’s why CBS covered the Bills-Cowboys 1996 game in Orchard Park.

    yeah Madden had to apologize year after year for not putting Bills on his all-Madden team, saying he had to see them play. Back then, CBS had rights to only two Bills games a year, where they hosted an NFC opponent. It was probably a matter of threading the needle with madden’s madden cruiser travel schedule, given his fear of flying.

    The O needs to execute screens better, not stop calling them. These plays can go for big yardage and slow down the rush if the pass is precisely placed and often require the pass catcher to beat one tackler at the line of scrimmage.

    NFL needs the Madden cover and leading jersey selling QB in the playoffs, and knows it will be a disaster if a bunch of no name backup QBs are playing.

    only way to make everything consistent is to award the ball to the defense whenever someone fumbles out of bounds. This would add like one more turnover every three or four games, which is much needed. Things are getting so boring with the mind-numbing ball control that goes on these days.

    In the old days home teams used to wear white to force the cowboys into their less preferred blue jerseys. The 0-10 Bills did this v the 7-4 Cowboys in ‘84 and got a memorable win in a disastrous season.

    He’s had a great run. Terrible pairing with Herby. They are both going out of their way to be more understated than the other and putting everyone to sleep.

    Sort of shocked one of these non-playoff teams who are not worried about his place-holding ability has not signed him already.

    10-7 missing the playoffs would be the ultimate disaster. Not quite bad enough to justify the house cleaning needed or for draft stock strong enough for a #1 wr, not good enough to make a run at the Lombardi in a year loaded with flawed teams.

    He was completely housed by Spags in the second. Very lucky to escape. Allen miracle play to avoid three straight three-and-outs with the whole season on the line. Something had to be open if they found a plan for Cook in the second.

    Chris Simms (who is very pro-Allen) on the Herd today said the Bills wideouts are being handled with a lot of man to man and said Diggs is not on the level of even an Adams or an AJ Brown.
